Re: Government agency’s reliance on online gambling
by

I saw this report saying my country’s government agency that regulates gambling gets most of their profit from online gambling. I was shocked to find out thst 59.9% of their revenue comes from online gambling.I know how much online gambling has grown over the years but to see this number was still shocking. Anyway, some thinks that the agency’s reliance on online gambling for profit makes them inefficient in actually regulating gambling activities in the country. People are asking for them to be more effective and not just consider the gambling operators’s profits because my country has poor healthcare and won’t be able to accommodate addict patients well. There really has to be some objectivity still but I also understand wanting to keep the revenue going especially if it helps in the economy.
When the government implements a gambling tax policy but doesn't balance it with anticipatory measures like mental health services, it's easy to conclude that your government doesn't care about the people affected by gambling, only prioritizing the profits it can generate. It's an unhealthy policy to implement if it leaves many citizens without mental guidance. If this continues without any policy revision, it means that there will continue to be an imbalance between gambling, the government and society.

Where is Gavi by the way? I saw his info as injured but I don't know whether it is really true. It feels like we don't watch him in games that much. He is one of the valuable players for Barcelona on paper actually.

And in addition to that, there is no registration problems for Barcelona at the moment right?  Huh  Transfer and registration have been their main problems for a while.

By the way I have heard of their interest in Julian Alvarez but he would cost them like a lot of money...
Gavi appeared in two matches, against Mallorca and Levante, as a substitute. Meanwhile in the match against Rayo, he was not included in Hansi Flick squad list.
This season, Barcelona is the only club that has not been very active in the transfer market due to financial difficulties that they have not been able to overcome. Barcelona is relying solely on loan players and players from La Masia. Regarding player registration, I think this issue will continue to be an obstacle.

Erik Ten Hag had a bad time in Manchester United but was successful in Ajax, where he led the club to win three Eredivisie titles and reached the Champions League semi-finals. There are reports that his performance alone in Bayer Leverkusen was not the reason why he was sacked.  He fell out with the club management regarding player signings and the future direction of the club.

The club management shouldn't have expected immediate position results after they sold Florian Wirtz, Piero Hincapie,  Jeremie Frimpong, and Granit Xhaka, and Jonathan Tah without worthy replacements. He should have been given some time to build the club. Some successful coaches were given more than one season to get it right in their clubs.
That's because Ajax cannot be compared to Manchester United. If the problem really is player recruitment, then it makes sense because Ten Hag intends to recruit players who have played for Ajax, as he did when he was Manchester United coach. Leverkusen on the other hand made a mistake by hiring Ten Hag, but firing him early on was also the right decision before the league progressed further. The results from the two matches he managed provide evidence that Leverkusen is regressing rather than progressing.

Re: How much is enough for you in a day gambling

So my question is - How much winning is enough for you in a day. You're answer should be based on your capital not on your multiplier. Also how much is it for losing?
The amount of winnings considered sufficient (per day) depends on the initial capital I deposit. Like it or not, I have a calculation for example if I deposit $10 and manage to turn it into $30-$50, it means it's time to withdraw. Personally I set these limits so that I can gamble more sensibly.  But I won't deny that there are certain moments when the winnings haven't reached the target but I have to make a withdrawal to end the game.

Even at a big team like Chelsea, I think he'll be able to compete and secure a starting spot. The 22-year-old Dutchman has already demonstrated his quality, and despite his relatively young age, he still has the potential to develop further.
I see Xavi Simons as a player lacking ambition. As a result, his moves from one club to another haven't brought much satisfaction to the clubs he plays for. Therefore at Chelsea it depends on whether his ambition has been realized or remains stagnant. We'll see, because considering his age, many players have proven their ambition is useful.

Another thing is that Chelsea is currently focused solely on preparing players to be sold at a higher price to other clubs.

I will return to my hometown and start growing vegetables, fruits, and other ingredients. Because in this era of AI driven work competition, those who work from morning to afternoon and evening still need to eat. Without a market supply of basic commodities, everything will end. So, I will focus on areas where agricultural sustainability can persist despite the world's continued sophistication.

It’s too early in the league to hope to make anything of the teams at the moment, nothing is set until we’ve successfully seen at least 10 game weeks then, we could know who are the contenders and those that would be battling to take stands on the top 10 on the league table. Arsenal’s lose to Liverpool though, didn’t tell well of the team, those are the sort of games where you just have to take a point and be good but, they lost all 3 points to Liverpool, it would be interesting to watch and injury free fixture of them both.
As long as Arsenal can assess their losses and improve their attacking weaknesses, the season is still achievable. Furthermore, Liverpool certainly won't always perform consistently in every match. So, the stakes are still very high for each team fighting for their top spot. I believe, Liverpool and Arsenal are certain to occupy one of the top four spots.

Cremonese continues to win. They won their away game against Milan and also beat Sassuolo at home. This is how they won their second match. This concludes the match between the two teams promoted this year, and Cremonese has had a great start to the season. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on this, as they've just been promoted to Serie A, and there were rumors they might be relegated. They've already won two.

I believe it is time that that we stop underrating any team that has been promoted from Serie B, as we saw with Como and Parma previous season, when they maintained their position in the league after being promoted. So, in the same way that Parma and Como were able to stay in the league last season, I believe Cremonese can do the same. Since last season, I don't think we have any poor teams because they always make it difficult for the top clubs to win, perhaps Cremonese will be one of the teams to surprise us this season.
The target for promoted teams such as Cremonese is to stay in Serie A next season while understanding the atmosphere of the competition. With their impressive performances, this could be a positive factor for other promoted teams to be motivated. If they truly understand the characteristics of Serie A, then I believe Cremonese has the opportunity to continue to perform better. They are not participating in other competitions, so they can focus more on this season.

In terms of strength, Liverpool and Arsenal could once again be the dominant teams this season, although both sides should be wary of Chelsea, as they could pose a significant obstacle to their respective campaigns. As for the Liverpool-Arsenal result, it was simply a matter of luck on Liverpool's side, as the only goal was scored from a Szoboszia free-kick. The rest of the match was a solid attack and defense for both teams, a sign that Liverpool and Arsenal remain strong this season.
The match between Liverpool and Arsenal was boring overall. I even fell asleep while watching the first half.

Whether it's a luck or not, Arsenal fans have to admit it. Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal are still on track to be the strongest teams in the Premier League. It's still a long way to go, and with such a small gap, anything can change at any time. The only teams that lost today Manchester City and Arsenal, should not let many games go to waste, considering that the next point difference will be a major obstacle.

You won't say that Fc Barcelona perform poorly against Rayo Vallecano last night in the Spanish league, it was tough match for both club i know many expected Fc Barcelona to perform more than Rayo Vallecano and still win but got surprise to see that Rayo Vallecano held Fc Barcelona to a 1-1 draw after losing 1-0 in the first half after Yamal converted a penalty in the 40th minute to give Fc Barcelona a lead and a hope of winning at away to secure and 3 point but Rayo Vallecano says no and point was shared among both clubs.
Real madrid is at the top of the league having 9 points same point with Bilbao but with some goals different.

You have to thank VAR for being off when the foul occurred. And at a glance, Yamal is still Yamal he knows how to throw himself down. The draw was indeed a loss for Barcelona, but it was worth the risk they took when they let go of their best defender last season Iñigo Martínez. Congrats  Tongue

What do you think are the chances of a draw between the two teams? This is clearly a difficult match and will take place in the next few hours. Liverpool has odds of 1.33 and Arsenal 1.94, but I tend to think that even though they are playing at Anfield, it won't be difficult for Arsenal to put pressure on the home team. I'm quite curious, and to be honest I haven't placed a bet yet.

Depends at what stage you're trying to find.

If it's pre TGE around the seed funding phase. Find it in rootdata or cryptoranks. They got comprehensive data about that.
If what you're looking for is their listing or at least before they went live with their listing. Just see exchange's listing announcements on their blog posts.
I agree that so far, Cryptoranks has been a great place for me to find projects with a more promising foundation. There's also the option of hunting, and I think researching VCs is also a key consideration. But again, that alone isn't enough, as each project has its own set of requirements to be eligible for its TGE allocation, such as being a contributor.

I was a little worried when Madrid fell behind by one goal. This was because Mallorca played with a full block and stacked players in the defensive area. But the intelligence and patience of Militao, Carreras, and Ceballos enabled Madrid to perform well. Guller and Vinicius became the savior stars. Xabi made the most of the rest period and playing time. Vini, who started the match from the bench last week, now started as a starter. This gave him better fitness.
His game is improving, and this is the kind of teamwork Xabi needs. But despite this win there's a key note for Mbappe he must avoid the offside trap, as it's clearly costing him. Xabi needs to evaluate; Mbappé's pace will be wasted if he consistently caught offside, as he was today when his two goals were wasted.

Mbeumo hats off to this lad his tried his level best to save United several times since his joined this club, anyway a penalty coming maybe  Tongue
You got it!
It was a penalty in the final minute of stoppage time. The key to the unexpected victory was a shirt pulling in the penalty area, which was clearly crucial for a defender.
Manchester United's first Premier League win had just come to fruition, but there were still many negatives, as their defense was easily breached.

Re: To have kids or not to? Your opinion from economy perspective
by
MArsland
on 30/08/2025, 11:03:16 UTC
unless one is well off himself one should not be having kids, this is my opinion.

What about you?
Is the benchmark for wealth and a prosperous life not having children? If this paradigm is true, then humans would have become extinct long ago. The choice is yours do you want to die leaving behind a lot of wealth that will be taken by others, confiscated by the government, given to institutions, or to your descendants?

Economic perspectives do not always align with basic physics and mathematics. If the current mindset is that “those who are established should not have kids” then be grateful to your parents for not believing in that principle, because if they had, you wouldn't have been born, right?  Grin

I've seen small teams start with such form and end up not qualifying for any European competition some even end up finishing close to relegation ,can Cremonese keep up with the form? I doubt well it would be nice if they can cause I love it when smaller teams gain confidence and challenge the bigger boys in the league makes it more Interesting.

The smaller teams seem to be attracting attention at the start of the season, at the forefront of securing points. Will they really be able to maintain their consistency? Only time will tell.

Big teams like Inter, Napoli, Juventus, and Atalanta already know how to manage their energy in a long season with a packed schedule. Meanwhile, the newcomers can focus all their efforts on one domestic competition.

It's pretty challenging to understand what you mean in your post, but from my understanding, it's about achieving the best outcome as long as the game is ongoing. Is that right?

If that's the case, it's like trading where you can hold your position, whether long or short, for futures trading, and just having as much as you can.
I read the OP thread several times to truly understand what he was saying. Because his communication was indeed ambiguous, it turns out I'm not alone.

So, I'll respond to the statement in line 2.
OP, gambling is yours to control, whether you decide to bet or not is up to you. So don't push yourself too hard when you're already mentally exhausted, there are plenty of other bets you can make. Gambling when you're in a bad mental state will actually lead to unsatisfying decisions.

Rúben Amorim: “Sometimes I want to quit, sometimes I want to be here 20 years. I need to improve on that”.
“Every time we have one defeat like that, I am going to be like that. Sometimes I am going to say I hate my players, sometimes I am going to say I love my players”.
From this, we can clearly see that Amorim is caught in the middle of a battle between giving up and continuing. Amorim's lowest point came sooner than expected, his arrival did not go smoothly, and becoming Manchester United's coach carries greater risks than other clubs in the English Premier League. This club has the largest fan base, so their demands are greater than others.

How long do you think Amorim will last?
