Re: 3.7 BTC - 75$ - Paypal
by

on 13/07/2011, 02:22:33 UTC
Hey im searching for someone who will sell me 3.7 BTC. Im willing to give 20$ each.
Ill pay first.

(Please dont point out that i have no feedback and that im a new user, i know that Wink)

I don't think it's that you have no feedback that people will take issue with, it's that you're requesting to make payment through a highly reversible method. Perhaps if you offered payment first through a moneygram, moneypack, or western union people may be more incline to take your offer.

But then again when a new user offers high prices above market through paypal it's usually a scam.

Do you have insurance to be practicing engineering or is your work uninsured? Are you licensed/registered?

MDKing

"Engineering in the UK is not a licensed profession. In general, there is no restriction on the right to practice as an engineer in the UK"

So the answers to my questions would be your work is uninsured and you are not registered with any of the engineering bodies, such as Engineering Council UK, as a Chartered/Incorporated Engineer?

I am a recent graduate (2:1 hons) and have some spare time this summer to work on various projects if required. I specialise in CFD and FEA (Fluent, Gambit, SolidWorks & Abaqus in particular) and can send you a sample of my work if you are interested.

Re: Paying TOP DOLLAR for BTC--$18 per BTC, WTB 20 BTC (PayPal, Dwolla, money order)

I had deposited $400 into my MtGox account to buy some coins and then someone hacked into my account and transferred the money into his Dwolla account. So now I am only going to do P2P.

Well if you change your mind about going first I can certainly sell you some BTCs. See my thread, http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24500.0

Scammed out of $400, By whom? Did you report it on bitcoin-OTC? What were the details surrounding the transaction.

I have to ask those questions because it's very easy for people to make claims of being scammed purely so they can go first and scam others. Please provide details on your transaction.

Moneybookers can be reversed like paypal payments. Would you be willing to use an alternative payment method?

I will buy 190 EUR or its equivalent in any other currency worth of BTCs. PM or feel free to reply here.

Correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding moneybookers, like paypal, allows for reversible transactions?

Are you willing to use alternative payment methods such as western union or moneygram?

I was dumb, sent this guy 350 Bucks. Stay away, he's a scammer. Luckily the credit card company is aware of the fraud and will end up giving him what he deserves.

How did you send the funds?

It's now been over 24 hours since I sent my 1 BTC to hax3d and I haven't heard anything from him or received any money via Paypal. Guess we know why he doesn't want to go first. I recommend staying away.

This user was trying to sell a download site in the goods forum which was suddenly deleted, recreated and then closed as illegal. All this along with a new user name and the above user's problem is sign enough in my opinion to stay away from his dealings.

I see you have another thread, http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24558.0, stating you'd like to purchase BTC. Are you selling and/or buying BTCs? If you're other thread is completed, you should edit the title to reflect so.
