By snapshot you mean a screenshot, right? sry for stupid question, just want to be sure.
Btw, how about signing a message containing the BTC payout address from the QBK bagholder address. that would be bullet proof against cheating attempts.

XC should leave Blocknet, it's ruining our reputation.
If someone thinks blocknet tech would not benefit XC's overall value, once the development gets to a point where the initial version can be integrated in all participating coins...
Well, I have to say this person can not have the slightest clue of what the possibilities of this ground braking tech would arise from it.
This person should not invest in XC, blocknet or other participating coins and do their homework FIRST. Then when they come back and see some troll spreading FUD, lies and what not, they can just laugh at them lean back and relax...

No idea who crispyzeal is, but Blocknet-related work is happening here: https://github.com/atcsecure?tab=repositories
no someone forked the xbridge repository on github, which is in a VERY early stage of development.
could be a team decision to move it since it's not ONLY Dan's project, but a joint development of devs from the different blocknet coins.
at this stage of development really NOT that important, however I want to know where I can follow the progress of future development of this new technology.
These are reasons why you keep some code under seal and you put some code out there in the honey pot. Moles all a foot and such...
This might be true for a coin (actually this is another discussion), but for a inter chain connection tech like blocknet/xbridge, this is not the case. It has to be open at all times:
- since all (initial blocknet) coins HAVE to use it's most up do date (stable) version at all times for best performance.
- also blocknet is per definition open to other coins. every coin will be able to join sooner or later.
... so you can not just put out SOME code in the honey pot. Would not make sense.

For some reason my XCurrency wallet got deleted without a notice, I still have all the files, but the .exe is just gone.

Well, there's a repository 'xbridge-old' (renamed a couple of days ago).
And than there's 'blocknet' which is the (temporary) blocknet share wallet, but this is not related to the actual blocknet xbrigde tech.
Maybe Dan has to answer this one.
I assumed CrispyZeal's repository, because it's a fork of former atcsecure/xbrigde repo with frequent commits the last couple of days.

It's just the whales keeping the price down so they can buy more.
From my experience, when people start saying that the coin is dead.
Its an idiotic thing to say anyway - to artifically keep the price down you would have to be selling more than you buy, so you are saying that these 'whales' are selling coins because they want to buy coins, which is clearly foolish.
What if they sell into their own buy! Just kidding ofc.
I don't believe that the marked is being manipulated in any big way, If so I believe that the volume would show it.
I think XC price is down because of the following factors (not in order):
Mintpal crash
Bitcoin Price
Potential alt-coin marked disrupters like Ethereum and bitcoin side-chains.
Not being shown on Bitcoinwisdom
Successful paid FUD Campaign followed by drooling losers continuing FUD on the BTCTalk Thread
Many new initiatives but few deliverables lately, more specific:
New UI
Mobile Wallet
Blocknet - XBridge
B2B hinted recently
Of those above I think from a buyers perspective price is looking good. (I just increased my holding 20% back up to pre-blocknet release)
* New UI won't rock price much, it is an important feature but not a differentiator, if it has any impact it will be price stabilization
* Mobile Wallet, initially won't have much impact as it is not a differentiator but could be an enabler of the following.
* Blocknet, Will be big, I predict that if Blocknet launches with a XBridge BTC wallet, XC could become one of the go-to mixing services for BTC. Blocknet is in a Duopoly with Supernet. Within blocknet it's a creation of a oligopoly for the involoved coins. the crypto alt-coin scene has had very low barriers to entry, this is the creation of such by service of trust, reputation and features.
* B2B few coins has made the transition from a digital collectibles to real world application, this jumping the Chasm between early adopters and early mainstream is very hard and will be a very strong differentiator for XC.
Dan is clearly not openly sharing his directions or visions as this market still is way to competitive with very low barriers to entry. I think this is wise, same goes for the opensource code, it will surely come when the market position is established. But it is also very clear by now that he has a long term plan with this, there are clear patterns in the products he releases and how they inter-service each other.
It's a shame that investor relations are best managed on BTCtalk because this place user-base is rotten to the core. Hopefully we will get some peace when the next btc spike comes in a couple of weeks.

TORSTICK shippings is a pretty big news and a nice update. It is sad to do not see the team in here giving the announcement and capitalise on it...............
I'm pretty sure Dan only posted it on the official forum to encourage people to actually visit the forum and use it.
Really people should be going to the official site for the updates... and then the info trickles back to here. This is what I see happening with NXT, Bitshares, Maidsafe etc.
We should support this cos look how fragile it is for us to base the community here.
Just my opinion.

alcurex.org would also be an option, no volume there what so ever, but they have usd markets. They also call microCoin a top crypto currency. shouldn't be too hard to convince them.

Is there a USD/XC pair somewhere? I feel like I am being ripped off using BTC all the time.

but then you could better buy btc and then XC... but that choice is up to you

Winning the vote is something different. I wouldn't make too big of a deal out of it for the time being. Let's hope we manage to get a decent amount of votes for Dan.
Tbh, I wouldn't be to disappointed if we don't make it this year, although I think Dan would definitely deserve it. After all XCurrency and Blocknet are still far from being finished. E.g. it's also unlikely to win the Oscars with a movie that's still in production. (Maybe stupid example but I hope you get what I mean)
