Thanks for the announcement  Grin
For existing customers, there is a special discount. Use this coupon code: bitxo-compac-f-customers
And let me know if the coupon does not work as expected.

Bitshopper Compac-F sales are live if anyone from the UK/EU wants them.

Dears,

I see, I need to give an update here as well regarding the availability of th Compac F for EU customers.

The Compac F is ordered with sidehack. Sidehack noticed me last week that the order is in queue but not yet due. Nevertheless I expect it End of October/ Beginning of November.

As I do not have a dediacted delivery date, I do not offer pre-sales for the Compac F. Generally I am not a friend of pre-sales, I do it only if it is necessary to fund bigger projects.

As soon as I have them in hands I’ll open sales. First come first serve. If you want to get noticed, please subscribe to our newsletter and you’ll get a notification before it goes into sales well in advance. https://www.bitshopper.de/en/newsletter/

An announcement on our website is in preparation as well as a section in our support area.

No sign of them on the bitshopper.de site Sad

I'm checking every day and no update yet. If they are due to 419 around now I'm expecting another few days for them to get over to us in the UK/EU. But it would be handy to get our orders in now. I really don't want to miss out now my R606 has died.

I emailed them and their reply was "We’re a bit late. I expect them to arrive here still in October. "

To which I asked if we could pre-order or did we have to wait till they are in stock.

small heads up: If the German importer know his business there should be no noticeable delay in that clearance.

Yea bitshopper is great, they will have euro units within 4-5 days once we ship. Their units will be on of the first batches out so there won't be a huge delay for euro customers.

Awesome, thx for the info!

Can't wait for it, but have to 2-3 months. Sad

Everything's ready to ship as soon as we have the gear in hands.

sometimes i hate being in europe.. if i was a yank, i could get a 2pac for $40 (35euro)... but if i want to get one from a legit euro seller, it is 80euros. ($90).. life isnt fair Sad

I am getting sick repeating this again and again: NOBODY CAN LEGALLY SELL IT IN EU FOR 40$ if not making a HUGE LOSS. LEGALLY means fulfilling of ALL legal requirements.

Transportation, Customs, Import VAT, WEEE Registration and warranty, EMC testing and certification for CE mark, warranty for packaging regulation, ...

Of course you can import a 2Pac yourself (and declare it as chewing gum in customs). If you are lucky you get it for $40 + transportation without all this crap I mentioned before.

And they plan to add more regulations over the next years instead of less. And for what? For the sake of BIG corp. who can easily fulfill all these ridiculous regulations.
Go and say thanks to your local EU delegate.

Sidehack, are your 2pac sticks always green?
only reason i ask is... you know i told you about the $150+ 2pacs being sold in the UK, well they are all black ones.
they also have the gekkoscience logo. :/ another copy methinks?

WOW. What a ugly scam!

Btw. 2Pacs are official GekkoScience built ones. Also the ones sold in UK, FR, ES, IT, etc. The are black and carry the additional bitshopper.de label plus my WEEE Reg.no.
Everything else is a scam.

found solution :

cd ~/git/vthoang/cgminer/

sudo usermod -G plugdev -a `whoami`

sudo cp 01-cgminer.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/

sudo reboot

from here :  https://www.eyeboot.com/download/GekkoScience_2PAC_BM1384_USB_Stick_Miner/2PAC_BM1384_USB_Setup_Guide.pdf

its written badly , so you have to tweek as all joined

it is a real shame that both bitcoin forum and bitshopper.de have inadequate instructions on both 2pac and moonlander 2.  have had to find other ways to set up.  sloppy work by the big guys.

Simply ask for support (Chat; E-Mail) before you complain, newbie. The topic could have been resolved within minutes.
Others would say: RTFM!!! The support thread is linked from our website and the solution is mentioned on page 1.

When will the Terminus R808 be available at bitshopper.de for European buyers?

We'll have some for EU customers but not that fast as you may expect. Problem is: Due to legal constraints a housing for the PCB is a must to fulfill WEEE and EU electronics requirements. We have already housing prototypes but before we order the production version we must be 100% sure that everything works as expected regarding heat dissipation and air flow. Then we have to register it for WEEE, wait until it is confirmed and then we can start sales.

The problem with bitshopper‘s long processing time and the frequent stock outages is as follows:

We use Amazon as a fulfilment provider for 28 European countries, thus we shipped most of our stock to Amazon warehouses. Several Amazon warehouses have been on strike and they now have a huge backlog in booking seller  stock. Several hundred units are currently locked due to this mess. As soon as they finish their backlog and redistribution, stock at our webshop will get activated as well. I expect full stock availability beginning of next week maybe earlier.

Customers who ordered last week with an announced lead time of ten days will get their delivery at first.

Sorry for the inconveniences this may cause, we filed already a complaint but you can imagine that such a complaint affects Amazon only peripherally.

is a Europe Version possible like the 2Pac EU Stick Miner?
Europe version is planned. Will have to come with a housing (mandatory), which I am currently about to design. Lots of regulations to follow in EU.

Hi any update on when these may be available to order again?

Also can EU customers buy from a US vendor? I ask cos it looks like bitshopper has increased the price so much it would be much cheaper buying elsewhere. Not the best of sites either to be honest. No way of contacting them to ask direct. Quite disappointed that the price has been increased tbh it was already more expensive for EU customers now it's $20+ to buy here.

All prices will be increased for same day shipping once these are in stock next week. You can't expect to pay the same price for 2+ month pre-order and same day shipping. Same reason L3's are sold at 2k by pre-order from Bitmain, and 4k+ by resellers that have them in hand.

Let me also comment on this post. 64,- EUR for pre-sales customers was far from covering my overall expenses, but still a fair deal IMHO, as the pre-sales customer took the risk for more than two months ahead of delivery and helped financing the project. But you cannot expect me to keep selling the stick without covering my expenses. Selling this kind of electronics in EU in a legitimate manner means a lot of bureaucracy and extra cost like WEEE registration, EMC approval, import tax, customs, VAT and so on and so on. Go complain in Brussels.

Sorry for the mess guys. Had two resellers buying the whole presales stock in 2 minutes. Agreed with jstefanop to set a maximum order quantity of 10 to keep fair conditions for everybody + raised presales stock.

c'mon  ... from30 USD to 60 EUR ... are you serious?

Whenever there is a new miner offered, this nasty discussion about pricing and calculation starts over.

Once and for all: If one wants to offer a miner in EU commercially legitimate and legally conformant, the following mandatory cost-relevant things have to be taken into account:
Import turnover tax, import duty (correctly declared), import freight, WEEE registration fees, WEEE duties, packaging directive registration, packaging directive provider fees, repackaging, PE cover, fulfilment provider fees, shipping charges (free shipping).
Not taken into account: merchandise management system, tax consultancy, website and shop operations, warranty and return efforts, etc.

If batch numbers would be 10k or more, these costs can be treated insignificant but not for small batch sizes like this.
If you still think I'll get filthy rich with this community offer, you're naive.

...and yes I am serious.
