For my own opinion I go say Trading na Opposite of thesame COIN. Normal Gambling na bad habit with the expectation say you fit win but you no dey sure of your winning, while Trading na legit gambling wey get strategic measures to take but if e turnout say e no fall for your prediction you fit loose but if e enter for you, that wan mean say you gain...

Like this I no see much difference between the 2, because the 2 of them calculation of strategy and timing follow, just say one give you legit regard while the other na anyhow anyhow regard, that na if you win o

Re: Is it good to take decisions when one is angry?
by
Macabury
on 05/06/2025, 14:27:09 UTC
Obviously it isn't good to take any decision when angry.
Anger makes one forget his personality and make one act irrationally,
When angry we loose control over our power of decision and we end up taking a wrong step, we mostly end in regrets

This search engine is fast. This must have cost so much time and effort, thanks for the good job done. I searched a few topics and I saw threads related to my input clustered waiting for me to click on the exact topic I wanted. This is so innovative. Is this meant to be an extension of ninjastic space?

If it was about Leverage trading having higher risk i would have concurred but to akin it to gambling is one perspective I don't think I will buy into Traders might choose to gamble through leverage trading maybe because they want to make much profit and return the capital but end up applying selfish strategies that won't take up much moves. Greed has always been the killer of most traders and so the label each tactics that doesn't work out as planned gambling.

The FEAR OF MISTAKE IS AN ENEMY OF PROGRESS
I so much appreciate this line. Damn this is so true to any who wishes to progress. I have come to understand that the more scared we are to fail the more we shy away from perfection. Progress doesn't mean the result has been actualised but it's a reflection of how close we are to the actual result.

Re: How are you trading more efficiently?.
by
Macabury
on 15/03/2025, 22:33:51 UTC
For those that wish to master and become expertise in trading would need continuous learning, practices, knowledge testing and assessments and redefining strategic skills at all times.
Other additional tips like getting a mentor that'll help you focus on building a strong foundation in trading, hone your skills and introduce you into expertise knowledgeable techniques and experiences too.
Getting to master trade efficiently is not an easy road to follow but endeavor to Understand trading terms and ideas such as the bull and bear market, leverages e.t.c it'll be easier to find your way into mastery.
Yea it's like a loop. Repeating the same cycle consistently. It's more like an unending process that rovolvea around all you just mentioned. A trader must be ready to always seek knowledge no matter how good they have become. Mastery in trading is one thing that no one can truly boast of, because even the best traders also experience losses. The only difference between them and a common trader is their profit covers up for their losses.  The journey of a trader is a selfish one, you will need to give it your time if you must succeed.

BTC Address:

Sorry if I sound dumb, but I'm a bit confused. How will the team determine which reports were done by which users from here since we are only asked to post our Bitcoin address when we wouldn't have our Bitcoin address mentioned in the reports or emails we are going to send?
I don't know if I am correct but I think it's through your email address. If that's it then it will mean using the email used here on the forum.

Re: WOMEN ARE BETTER TRADERS
by
Macabury
on 13/03/2025, 22:59:56 UTC
Being a better trader should be a thing of discipline and dedication and not gender based. Just the same way we have women who are exceptional in their trading skills is the same way we have men who are also exceptional. Bringing gender bias to this whole picture will only make it look like some kind of sentimental agenda. I know women are better in handling societal pressure and all but trust me the market pressure taste differently.

Re: Bitcoin Yearly Low(est) Price can help you see yearly bullish trend better!

From the chart Bitcoin highs in 2024 and that of 3025 are almost on the same level. And the year after a significant event in the bitcoin space price of Bitcoin tend to suffer loss until another event takes place which is usually the bull run. There is no assurance of price recovering if we closely interpret this chart carefully without sentiments.

⭐ Merited by Juicyhome (1)
Psychology and emotions are dangerous to a trader. It's best to deal on facts and research. Phycology is equivalent to 100% gambling. There is no sure assurance to phycology as well as emotional trading. Most of the outcome ends in disastrous failure. The success that comes in happens on a very rare occasion and it's always luck based.

Re: What is your opinion on coins based on mobile mining ?
by
Macabury
on 08/03/2025, 11:12:07 UTC
Well I do not think there will be a big project if coin is based on mobile mining. I do not recall its name but long time ago I had a program that said we could mine Bitcoin on our mobile phones.

I did have this program on my phone all day and night. And when I did wake up my phone was hot and I did not make any profit from it. I do not think it is a scam but I do not think we can make alot of profit from mobile mining.
There are lots of coins that were minted through mobile phones that did well when the got launched. Just that most of them crashed afterwards. Some were pump and dump projects and others lacked enough liquidity to sustain the project. Some even went as far as scamming their participants, the didn't pay as the promised wasting the subscription and time of their participants.

But a project with a good community. One where people can vent, express their frustration and interest might have big tendency to do well. Pi is one of such coin. Although we still have to trade with caution.

Re: This AI case makes me think
by
Macabury
on 08/03/2025, 09:56:08 UTC
An investor is not the end customer, though.   An investor may see AI as a red flag, but if someone invests and a product comes to market, the customer really will not care how it was built.  People use this forum and they don't care about all the fraud (laziness) that was involved in making it the way it is.
The customer is more interested in the end product and not the source. If anyone really cares about the source it's the investor because they know their funds is at risk. It's disgusting how people lazily use AI just to flood the forum. Over time if this persists it will be harder to know the intention of people using the forum because their contents are prompts and not hard work,
 Obviously scamming will increase.

Re: What makes a great leader?

A leader should also be tolerant. Before someone signs up to become a leader they should understand that not everybody will appreciate what the do no matter how much effort the put in. A good leader should know how to carry everyone along regardless and also how to use negative energy to their advantage and also to the advancements of whatever sector they lead.

Re: El Salvador has become the first country to make #Bitcoin legal tender! 🇸🇻
by
Macabury
on 04/03/2025, 21:02:06 UTC
The IMF is seeking to block 🇸🇻 El Salvador from buying more Bitcoin and refrain from issuing Bitcoin-backed debt or tokens as a condition of its 💵 $1.4B loan agreement.
I am.strongly supporting El Salvador on this. If the didn't refrain when the almost lost their national treasury to Bitcoin why should they stop now. IMF are only being concerned about how much revenue they must have accumulated with their total purchase and are scared they might not need them in the future for further loans.

I count their conditions for issuing El Salvador this loan a selfish and greedy one. IMF are trying hard to see how the keep El Salvador constantly indebted. This might have being their taught when El Salvador took their first loan to get Bitcoin and the market crashed. Maybe they might have wished the market never recovers to they will have to start seizing properties in or occupying some territories as a fine for defaulting.

Re: USAID Cut/African Countries
by
Macabury
on 03/03/2025, 16:42:16 UTC

Questions for Discussion:
1) How can African governments and private sector actors mitigate the impact of USAID funding cuts?
By investing in the development of the African Nations. I sincerely love the new Administration of the White House and the policies. The African Nations are rich enough to fund their  welfare and development. If we keep getting fundings from the US, instead of developing as a nation we end up facing retardation.

Quote
2) What alternative sources of funding should African nations explore to sustain development efforts?
Improving on our locally made products. Do enough research on how to refine our own natural resources to suit our needs. We don't need funding from any where all we need is resort to what we have and make finished product of what we need.
3) In what ways can regional cooperation help reduce dependence on external aid?
By closing the boarders to foreign aids. Come together as a cooperate body and seek on how to finance the various sectors within each regions.

Quote
4) How might these funding cuts affect Africa’s relationship with other international donors, such as China or the European Union?
The impact is already being felt. One of the ways it's hitting hard is though inflation. Every nation in Africa can start building towards the future. Put up a system that will checkmate corruption in all sectors

Quote
5) What innovative strategies can African entrepreneurs and businesses adopt to remain resilient amid reduced international support?
Build a conducive environment for entrepreneurs and businesses. Ensure the get adequate fundings and ease to loans if need be. Africans can setup their own funding system to assist smaller countries in growth and sustainability.

Re: 🔥 GingerWallet.io | LN Quest ⚡Up to 50 merits
by
Macabury
on 03/03/2025, 00:22:16 UTC
I discovered I can't open a channel on phoenix wallet.

Can you please say a few more words on this? Because I've simply transferred some sats on-chain and I've got channel opened for me. And since then I've done transfers between my Phoenix wallet and my test WalletoSatoshi.
I tried searching for features to create my own lightening node on phoenix wallet but discovered after going through all the features on the phoenix wallet app that it doesn't support manual channel management/creation but rather it automatically creates channels exclusively with ACINQ's node. After making a deposit on my LN wallet I couldn't find my transaction on  https://1ml.com

What is inbound liquidity in layman's term?

Afaik that's how much money you can receive on that LN channel if don't spend any (it's like a bottle or jar that may be full or empty or in between).
Does it mean if I need to receive a huge amount of money through LN I will need to have inbound liquidity that is enough to accommodate the funds?
