What exactly is a smart contract?
A smart-contract is a precompiled contract (or code) that cannot be altered on the blockchain. It is very useful for many applications, such as a marketplace.
So, in this project whether the buyer and seller will agree and sign on the smart contract?

If you look at our team members, most of us have extensive experience in delivering technologies related to the creation and delivery and consumption of digital content and assets. Thats what we know best. Furthermore, we believe in order to succeed, its important to have the ability to strike high profile partnerships, and we (including myself) have the people who have done it successfully in the past decade. Blockchain and decentralization along with AI to us are the natural evolution of what we have been doing our entire career.

Many of us have worked together for a decade while the rest are really experienced in what they do.
I always believe that apart from having required experience, the second best part is to have people in team with whom you have worked in the past. This helps you in assigning the perfect tasks to different team members, as you know the strengths and weaknesses of each member.

Why would buyers be interested in buying online? I guess low prices. Because shop owners dont have to pay rents and other utility costs. I guess since sellers would be able to save these costs, they can offer great deals and discounts. I hope storeplex has fair idea of this.

I have a question. Will the buyers and sellers directly trade with each other on the platform of storeplex or will storeplex act as an intermediary like ebay, amazon?
The buyers and the sellers interact with each other via the smart-contract (the blockchain) and not Storeplex personally. We will only involve ourselves when disputes arise.
Can you describe some of the features that marketplace will have for buyers and sellers?
Buyers can purchase a variety of products and receive 3% cashback on all purchases made using PLEX tokens and sellers can use PLEX tokens to upgrade their account in addition to the extremely low fees.
Also, if you can tell whether buyers and sellers will place
orders directly to each other or on the storeplex?
The orders are placed on the Storeplex marketplace where they are then despatched/fulfilled by the seller.
So, if there is any dispute between the buyers and sellers, how is that going to be resolved?
Dispute as in if the buyer is not satisfied with the quality of the product!

What is the hard cap and the soft cap of the project?
There is no soft cap for this project as we already have a minimum viable product released. The hard cap is set to 2,000 ETH for the Pre-ICO and 31,700 ETH for the main ICO.
Have you made any previous arrangements with some institutional investors to buy the tokens if some part of your goal goes unsold?
If funding is not successful via the initial coin offering, we do have other avenues to explore, such as personal contacts or a development grant.
Also, i hope that the project will move forward in any case. Right?

Although, i totally believe that you will be able to achieve even your maximum supply, seeing the popularity this project is gaining. But its good, you have a plan B, since the markets are really bearish these days and many investors are not willing to invest.
