It is probably your software - check to see if you are running PhoenixMiner 4.x, or Claymore's Dual Ethereum v12.0
PhoenixMiner 3.x, will give errors and so will Claymore's v11.x

seems like a lot of work -  Grin

I have 2 - 9020's that I use for testing software/hardware updates or changes, before i move it to my H110 BTC+.

Trying to wrangle 20 of them would be a bit much, but as long as you have room and cheap electricity, why not.

meh - didn't Gigabyte make motherboards long ago, before they branched out into Video and full blown systems (Desktops/Laptops)...
so now Asrock is branching out into Video cards - hope they price them cheap (or at least less expensive than what we are seeing now)

1st, remove all the GPU's - then check your BIOS for "Use Onboard Video" and or "Multiple Display" settings.

When installing your GPU's you should put them in order PCIE2, PCIE4, PCIE1, PCIE3 - one at a time, booting up each time to ensure that your risers are working, ect...

Re: Working or not ? Two video Cards with my old motherboard
by

on 05/03/2018, 01:52:14 UTC

Yes, you could install a second video card...

If you are running Windows, then there is not much more to do after that since you are using the Beta-Blockchain drivers...

Most mining software will see it and use once Windows has it functioning in the device manager.

Re: renting a warehouse how to test the electric output like a pro
by
MajMongoose

No need to test anything, just look at what kind of service is installed and it's amperage. You can bring an electrician and not reveal that it's for a mining operation, you know? He doesn't give a fuck why he's there, as long as he's getting paid.

the reason for "jumpiness" is reasonable as cryptomining, you are keeping tens of thousands of dollars of equipment in the warehouse and one theft or burglary is all it takes to ruin your business, also i am already having difficulty finding an insurance at least my farmer's agent pretty much ruled out insuring the crpyto equipments. Compared to that, most smaller size business would keep at most several PC and few equipments at their warehouse which is far less costlier than mining equipment. So keeping under sleeve I believe is justified.  Grin

Invest in a semi-decent security system (door mag locks/card key access/cctv) and tell the Insurance company that you are a data storage center for the cloud... ha  Grin

Agreed - I would have one come out to inspect the panel / mains for aged breakers or crappy wiring before anything was brought to the warehouse.
Run all the circuits/outlets yourself for whatever racking setup you do and take head of your amperage per circuit and you should be fine...
but, that's just my 2 cents... meh

Here is the info from Intel on this board:

https://www.intel.com/content/dam/support/us/en/documents/boardsandkits/desktop-boards/845/D845EPI/D845EPI_ProductGuide.pdf

No Pcie slots and a max of 2Gb ram...

Personally I would not do anything with this... just my .02

Re: AMD Drivers Graphic VS Compute settings Issue
by
MajMongoose
on 19/02/2018, 22:32:12 UTC
Had this same issue a week ago, when card 4 of 6 would not change...

   I ended up doing this:

  1. running atikmdag patcher to put the drivers back to normal
  2. go into Control Panel\Program and Features, and uninstalling the AMD software
  3. running the AMD clean uninstall utility
  4. reinstalling AMD 18.2.1
  5. running atikmdag patcher to patch the driver signatures

I was then able to get all 6 cards to change to Compute -

Updated a few days ago - no issues so far.

AsRock H110 Pro BTC+

Thanks

I have 3 rigs - the main 1 above has 5 of the RX560's and 1 GTX1050 Ti
the 2nd rig has 3 of the RX560's
the 3rd rig has 1 RX550

all running Windows 10 Pro (64 Bit) ver. 1709, Claymores Dual 10.6 and now Adrenalin 18.2.1

Re: WHY I AM NOT GETTING GOOD AMOUNT OF SHARES IN MINING ETC
by
MajMongoose
on 01/02/2018, 14:02:41 UTC
Noticed this also, was getting .0152 per day mining ETH with Claymore's Duel Ethereum Miner since last October and about two weeks ago it dropped to .00943 per day.

Hash rate of cards has not changed, just seems to be finding less shares.

Updated to version 10.6 and still same same results... I do not think its Claymore's miner.

What pool are you connecting to? ( us1.ethermine.org is what i have been on )

I picked one up just to play with it.

MSI Aero ITX Radeon RX550 4GB OC edition  (there is NO 6-pin power connector on the card - just FYI)

I have not tried anything with the bios yet.

Here are some screenshots of what its doing:
