Re: Are meme coins still worth holding in 2025?
by

on 28/08/2025, 17:13:39 UTC
That depends on the memecoins you are hodling, whether it's worth hodling or they will end up like others. Bear in mind that you really have to sell them all this year, not to sell them next year when the market will begin to experience a bearish market.

Memecoins have a short timeframe in the market, don't invest because of fomo or hype given, because that doesn't end well. You may lose your money because of that, and it may appear hard to recover it

Should I sell, spend it all on hookers, or some combination of the two?
There's no validation set, on what to do with your invested Bitcoin. Go ahead to sell it for whatever reason. Nobody is questioning that because when you invested in Bitcoin, you didn't seek permission for that, you didn't use someone else's money; it is your money that you used.

Giving us a reason now, for what you feel like doing with your Bitcoin when sold, doesn't make sense, we can't dictate to you on what you have thought to use your Bitcoin money to do

What's there for copying the crypto address or UID number of the person as new, each time you want to send crypto coins to them.

Some times wey d create problems for ourselves when there are easy and simple way to do things without thinking of saving them up. We know say crypto addresses are difficult to crame, but they are very easy to copy. Why don't you copy and paste them, to save yourself from failing victim of change address or UID number.

Re: Will Litecoin finally outperform Bitcoin in percentage gains?
by

This comparison of Litecoin with Bitcoin shouldn't be done because both are nowhere near equal to each other in value and gains. Check their one-year price performance to see for yourself whether Litecoin is in any way outperforming Bitcoin in price gains.

In a few months or years from now, do you think Litecoin will turn around do better than bitcoin, surprisingly? No. The whole thing is that Litecoin can't bring as many gains as Bitcoin. It will be other altcoins it will do that to, not the king of crypto(Bitcoin)

Re: Riding the storm of bear market

Don't panic is for those who understand the crypto market, the bear and and its bull run. For those who don't know about the crypto market, it's hard for them to watch how their investment depreciates over time without knowing what to do next, either to sell at a loss or keep hodling for how long for them to recover their money.

Not everyone, should I say, has the mind to stay put without panicking over the Bitcoin price. Those who panic over it, you don't blame them for that, is that they can't control their emotions when they are losing money.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx personally I prefer watching the ladies because they are doing better than the male team.

Same too, I so much like it when I see the ladies play their ball, the unity, the passion to play for their nation and to win, the cooperation, and their relationship is something I still can not find in the Super Eagles till this moment. The ladies are doing us prouder than the Eagles, irrespective of the big teams they all belong to.  I was thinking that with the level of experience and the club side they belong to, they can come together to form a formidable team bring their expertise together to make sure they bring out their best in matches but nothing always below standard and disappointment.
No doubt when it comes to football in Nigeria the female team is the most successful when compared to their male counterpart the female team just completed their mission x winning a historic 10th women's nations cup and that is a history for you the men has been struggling even to qualify for major tournaments
Well, it's a pity we find it this way that our men are not making us proud in football, it is our women that is doing so. That occurrence makes me think at times, what has gone wrong in the Super Eagles we boast of, many years back in 2010 downwards, when in each African tournament we see our men coming top of the tournament. This time around, everything just changed, as our men are the ones appearing weaker in the eyes of other African teams, while our women are appearing stronger, conquering the world of football and making history in Africa and the whole world at large

Many people are very good in discouraging others from pursuing their dreams, and  that is very bad, never you look back in your investment journey, don't be discourage by the present dip, always look beyond today and see the great potential of Bitcoin ahead .
Many will feel its taking  too long, many will feel is too expensive to buy, but regardless of all this  challenges keep pushing, don't relent, one day does trying to pull you out of track, those laughing at you will join and celebrate you.
That will be, between those people whom you told about your Bitcoin investment journey have been. For me, I haven't been discussing my Bitcoin investment journey with anyone, so nobody is trying to discourage about it, as I am well relaxed about the ups and downs of Bitcoin price, knowing fully well that the market will begin to show a green candlelight soon.

I think, when you have Bitcoin investment journey private, no one will question your stance on Bitcoin on how you are feeling about the market movement, whether to sell or keep hodling. I haven't for once feel pressured about Bitcoin from anyone. I buy and sell at any given time I feel like, without anyone knowing about it

If you meet Satoshi on the road, kill him
That's to say, if someone knows his identity(lols). Since we don't know his identity, what would we do? To pray for him to keep remaining anonymous, so that none of us would have the thought of killing him if he dares to reveal himself someday to the world, to know him

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
by

Barcelona barely managed a win the other day, while Real Madrid secured a comfortable victory today against Real Oviedo. Xabi Alanso has won two matches in two matches, and it seems he's channeling his players' desires. Real Oviedo started the match quickly, scoring almost within 10 seconds.

They've clearly worked on this organization. Arda Güler's passes were consistently accurate, when he lifts his head, he can deliver a precise pass to the desired location. These passes will be crucial for Real Madrid, they will undoubtedly win many matches for Real Madrid.
Real Madrid secured another three points, with Real Oviedo unable to put up much resistance despite playing at home. Mbappe and Vinicius both scored today, indicating there are no concerns about Real Madrid attack. Xabi Alonso seems to be enjoying his work, I think he's successfully adapted to the expectations. Two important wins confirm that Real Madrid have rediscovered their best form.
"Real Madrid rediscovered their form", we can't say really with only two matches played so far, until there are other matches like 10 played, and Real Madrid was successful in all of them to grab all the 3 points, we can then say how Real Madrid has rediscovered their form.

For now, Real Madrid is winning their matches like every other team. It's when the LaLiga league matches have gone half, we can then separate the weak team from the strong team, and begin to assume how Alonso has been since he started heading Real Madrid as their coach this season.

Almost everyone who has posted before has pointed out the correct measures of protecting their account in the forum. Add to that, I wanted to point out another measure or mistake some of us make, that is staying logged in with their phone browser, either Chrome, Firefox, or Brave, without logging out. That's actually not safe because a friend or a relative can have easy access to your account. If they are people who have bad motives toward you, they might have your logging details or post something that will implicate you in the forum

Re: Bitcoiners will one day hawk bitcoins on the streets
by
Marykeller
on 24/08/2025, 14:41:19 UTC
Soon Bitcoiners will start selling Bitcoin the way dollars is been sold in the local market. It might sound unrealistic but the future is not far fetched. This will happen mostly in the less developed nations especially African countries. With all due respect to Africa and Africans but this will happen someday. You see the way airtime is been sold across the streets with different prices ranging from one hundred naira to one thousand naira? that is how it be.
This is way too impossible, we can't leave the simple way we buy bitcoin from an exchange to begin to move to a more risky way of revealing our identity to an unknown person.

How would Bitcoin be hawked in the first place? Is it an object for that to happen? People are looking for means of introducing Bitcoin to their business(buying and selling), Africans will be the ones to abandon that, to look elsewhere to hawk Bitcoin(that's not happening).

When the economy of a country is bad, we don't look or think of the poor as among the causes of it. We look at some of the factors that could lead a country to an economic recession, such as monetary policy, increased interest rates, excessive government spending, debt, inflation of goods and services, low productivity, etc. Although the economic recession of a country hits the poor harder than it does the rich. That's the fact I can accept, not for you to say that the economy of a country is bad because the poor have no money. That doesn't sound like good logic to think about

Re: Rivers State political crisis a bad example for a growing democracy.
by
Marykeller
on 23/08/2025, 16:52:07 UTC
Rivers State is always known for political crisis but what has happened in Rivers State for the past five months is worst than a military coup. An elected president suspended an elected governor and the assembly members
It's a shame this kind of thing happened in a peaceful and loving state like Rivers, removing an elected governor by the president, with the claim that Rivers is having a political crisis of the past governor, "Wike," and the current government.

We wait till the elected governor in the person of Fubara will return to power by September because that's when the state of emergency in Rivers state will be over.

With the look of things, I think Fubara has succumbed and agreed to the FG and past governor terms and conditions of handing the state finances for the upcoming election in 2027.

Re: Earning salary or owning a business which is better
by
Marykeller
on 23/08/2025, 16:01:10 UTC
The two can't be compared financially and otherwise. There are more advantages for a business owner than for a salary earner.

A business owner has a steady inflow of cash in their hands, while a salary earner depends solely on their monthly salary, which may not be enough for them.
A business owner can wake up at any time to head to their shop, but a salary earner can't try that; their job and life activities revolve around their job. They don't have control over their job description to go and come back at any time.
A business owner is answerable to no one concerning the running of their business, but a salary earner is answerable to their boss; they can be sacked at any time. Their job is not guaranteed for long

Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2025/26
by
Marykeller
on 23/08/2025, 15:31:04 UTC
It's hard for me to believe that there is a team in La Liga right now that can beat Barcelona. I don't want to say that Real is a weak team or that they have become worse or weaker with Alonso, but objectively it seems to me that they haven't gotten rid of their long-standing problems in defense yet and in addition they have weaknesses in the midfield, and given this it will be difficult for them to compete with Barcelona, which in addition to a well-equipped and well-played team has a bench that is capable of fully replacing the main players.
You forgot that you are talking about football where surprises happen. Barcelona is in the best form and have one of the best players in the La Liga but that does not mean they cannot be shocked by the least expected team. When they play Celta Vigo, Athletic Bilbao and Valencia and triumph, then we can say no one will beat them because every season, those are the teams that gives them headache, not even the big boys like Real Madrid and Athletico Madrid. The season is just too young to begin to jump into conclusions.
I think Inwestour is forgetting one thing that this is football anything can happen. No team stays undefeatable till the end of the season without losing 2-4 matches, no matter how formidable they are.

Barcelona can look formidable this time, but it is not guaranteed that this season the LaLiga trophy will belong to them, no other team can challenge them for that. There will be, situation of their key players getting injuries will be there, that could make them lose the LaLiga trophy.

2 goals down against city, what a wonderful game for Tottenham even with Manchester city having total dominance but finding it difficult to see Tottenham's net. The same dominance we saw in Manchester united against arsenal That ended in favour of arsenal is about to repeat itself in today's game, but the end shall justify. All thanks to Johnson and joao for putting Tottenham ahead of Manchester city in today's game. I hope city comes back as they use to do in the game
Unfortunately, Manchester City's comeback mechanism in matches didn't work out for them, as I have seen Pep Guardiola using his key players in this match(Rodrygo back from injury) yet the victory was denied to them.

Surprisingly, this is the second match of the season, and Manchester City is beginning to lose its match. I just hope this season becomes a favorable one for them to lift a trophy.

$250k price tag of Bitcoin this year is all speculation(it's not certain). Don't put all thought and hope on that, Bitcoin will reach that price this year($250k). Sell your Bitcoin at a reasonable high price of $150k- $180k, to buy back when the market begins to experience a bearish market because hopefully by next year Bitcoin will experience a decline in price

Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions
by

Since we are getting closer to the close of summer transfer window. So many clubs are getting even more active in hunting their targeted players. The hot rumor is coming from Jackson. He's now being targeted by so many clubs. Recently, Bayern, Newcastle and Aston Villa are asking about his condition.

It seems to me he most likely leaves in the coming week. His price is considerably high, which is around 75m, but worthy enough with his exp as an EPL striker. I hope he will join Newcastle or Aston Villa. He can do better there.
Well it's good he leaves because his been at Chelsea for two seasons now and no improvement from him. Maybe the team doesn't favour him so it's best he leaves. With the players Chelsea have now, if he stays he will just be a bench warmer. This news has mentioned three different clubs, if they see as a possible option for their team then it's good, let him go there, it might actually favour him and they may bring out the best in him.
Yeah, he was not a part from the main squad since CWC. It's wise for him to leave, then get a spot in the other club to play regular time. He's a talented player, and disappointed me if he wasted his talent. Some big clubs have been lined up for him. It's easy to pick in which club he will go. It most probably Newcastle or Villa.
Let's see how it goes, which of the mentioned clubs will be willing to pay the stipulated amount of £75 million that Chelsea is demanding for the signing of Nicholas Jackson before the transfer window is over.

Jackson will gat to prove himself worthy this season if one of the two teams succeeds in signing him. Becoming a flop will not be advisable, I think he knows that. His best will be needed this time around, if he doesn't want to receive another round of backlash from the ones Chelsea fans have already given him.

Worried for wetin, when we have seen it happen countless of times for Bitcoin bouncing back for price when it has experience a decline in price.

Na people wey no know nothing about Bitcoin volatility, invest with huge amount without having emergency funds, investing with expectations for short term go d worry when Bitcoin price decreases.

As for some of us wey don tey for the market, invest for long term, we hardly get worried about Bitcoin when it decreases. We sees it as an opportunity to buy more Bitcoin at discount price for more gains in the future

Before 2021, when the FG announced the cancellation of crypto-related matters with Nigerian banks, I believe Nigerians had been trading crypto with banks. They had no issues with that.

If it happens tomorrow that we can trade our crypto with banks, there's no issue with that. It's a welcome development. Nigerians will trade their crypto with the one more convenient with them "exchange P2P or bank'' it's a choice
