TBH if you're working with raw transactions and custom wallets then you should be able to find out yourself. Dust is a possible reason, also using raw transactions you can create transactions that are valid but that are not accepted by the miners. If they don't include your transaction in a block then you're going nowhere...

Are you on the latest version? Is the blockchain completely downloaded? Best if you ask these kind of things on reddit as not a lot of people who are actually involved in RDD check this thread.

Grin I had a feeling things were going to get exciting soon!

But if someone could explain this to me, if the second of 3 halvings is June 14th, and there is only 7-8% left to be mined, is it possible to mine the last 7-ish % prior to the last/final halving July 19th/20th?

As soon as PoSV is ready, there will be no more halvings, a block where it will start working will be chosen. So it's possible that there is less than 7% left to be mined. All depends a bit on how the testing and timing goes.

It seems some major pools didn't update their wallet creating a bit of a mess, but it'll be sorted since all the major exchanges already updated.

Please read the FAQ for your questions on the minting and "gaming" the system, especially #3.

No, only the fastened block halving will start at block 140000. PoSV is still in the works.

No only 1 address.

I presume you mean then on two different pc's or something like that? Are you sure the blockchain on both of them is completely and correctly synchronised? You can try removing the blockchain and let it resync again.

There's even a (admittedly not very filled) subreddit dedicated to development:

The links in the subreddit were updated but apparently not on the site, I'll send a msg to update it.

Here is the wallet:

I think they keep all the Bitcoins and give back only the shxtcoins.

I withdrew both RDD (despite the fork difficulty atm) and BTC successfully this afternoon.

Well, I managed to get my coins out, I didn't try earlier but after the week of silence I decided to do so at the first possible time. If they get their sh*t together I will still use them again in the future, because I really like their interface, but they'll have to run proven stable for a while first.

so in the meantime is it safe to do any transaction at all ? what if i happen to receive/send money with a counterparty using an old version of the wallet ?

[sorry for the naive question, it's my first "fork" experience Smiley ]

If an old wallet sends to you, you won't see the transaction coming in. If you send to somebody with an old wallet, neither will they.

The only difference is that your wallet is the correct one. As soon as the old user updates his wallet, he will see the coins coming in.

Unless of course the old fork stays in existence by people not updating, but with the difficulty on that fork it seems extremely unlikely as it will take forever for a block to be found and people will notice their transactions aren't working ;-)
