That's indeed an impressive achievement for such a small coin.

Re: 0% house edge, rake and comission
by

Their concept looks very well. I think this could have a success and attract a lot of players and investors as well.

I like this concept too. 0% edge is possible if they will have a stabile income of new players and tokens price will increase. The first problem will be that people need to understand this is possible, after it they will be one of the best. Nobody wants to pay extra fees and everybody wants to fair chance beat the casino.
Ofc the players will say that this model suits them, but who in the world operator will be willing to operate such a casino on a large scale?

Now the next level of so called "attracting people" and new members will be having house edge in "negative". That might gain a lot of traction, but again, who will run this? You ? Me?
If someone can manage to build this is a large scale, there will be one additional source of earnings - advertising. If you reach dozens of thousands stable players / visitors your earnings will be from advertising huge, but you're right, there is a need to have a lot of money to be able to build this large scale casino

That's true, advertising can bring serious additional income when they'll be running on a large scale. As for the second part, I think they should have enough reserve from the ICO to live of in the first months and build a large scale casino.

Well, they will probably be making some money through their tokens which they expect to grow in price. And if not all games will have 0% house edge, it probably can be sustainable.
In any case, 0% house edge sounds attractive so it can bring many people in. I think it's an interesting project worth following.

Re: Which crypto currency is more futuristic ?
by

It's hard to say which coin is more futuristic, because all coins (I mean all that are not crap and actually bring something new) are focused on different things, so each of them is futuristic in their own way. There are coins with smart contracts, DAG based coins, privacy oriented coins... you just have to choose the functionality you need Smiley

The whole crypto market is being manupulated at all times. Not only small coins on Cryptopia, all of it. Just take it as it is or don't enter the muddy waters if you're not ok with it Smiley
But of course the small coins are much more easily manipulated as the trading volume is very low, so anybody with 10 BTC can move the price as they want.

Actually if you check the charts, Bitcoins experiences quite big dip at the beginning of the year all the time. The was dip at the beginning of the year since ever. Hard to say why this happens, but the pattern keeps repeating. So, I wouldn't worry so much. It will stabilize again and we'll be back to ATH in summer. Just be patient and HODL Smiley

Re: BIG DUMP!!! But i am waiting the chance to get in for more! What do you think?

This reminds me of the epic "I'M HODLING" thread Smiley
Anyways, I agree with you that everybody who sells now is just losing money. I will never sell at a dip, because it's just stupid. It's actually a good opportunity to buy more and then wait until the situation stabilizes.
Altcoins are falling even more than Bitcoin right now, so it might be also a good idea to change some BTC for alts now.

Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments

There is a new news article about Byteball on Coinidol: https://coinidol.com/designed-to-succeed-iota-raiblocks-and-byteball/

It basically says that Byteball will soon follow the success of IOTA and Raiblocks. I personally think that Byteball is the best one of them, so it seems quite likely that it will happen. At least I don't see any reason why Raiblocks and IOTA should spike and Byteball should stay somewhere at the bottom when it has even more features.

Re: Is 2018 too late for new investors to still make the thousand percent returns??
by
MatrixMining

There are always new coins and tokens which can make 100x or even 1000x gain. Most of the new ones are scams or will fail quickly though, so you'll need to do a proper research and make the right choice, select wisely which ones of them are worth investing in.
For example, my bet would be DeepOnion if you believe that anonymity / privacy oriented coins will be successfull in 2018. Technologically DO is similar to Verge. But Verge has a market cap of about $2 bil. right now, whereas DO only $60 mil., so huge space to grow.

Re: Can a country actually ban BITCOIN
by
MatrixMining
on 13/01/2018, 14:05:31 UTC
No country can actually ban Bitcoin. It is a global decentralized network, so no country can stop it.
However, they can make buying/selling Bitcoin with fiat money and accepting it by merchants illegal, which will make it very difficult and dangerous (you might go to jail for example) to trade crypto vs. fiat and use Bitcoin to buy stuff. This wouldn't destroy the Bitcoin network, but probobaly would have a great impact on its price as most people will probably not risk jail in order to trade and use crypto.

Re: any altcoin which can explode in next few weeks?
by

Follow John McAfee on Twitter he announce one good Coin in one week

I'm not sure if following McAfee is the best way... when he announces some coin, you'll be already buying into a pump, which is rather dangerous.
It's always best to research a coin and check if they have good and active developers, a supportive community and a good roadmap (and if they did follow the roadmap in the past). If all this looks good, there's a very high chance that the coin will moon sooner or later.

That would be nice indeed, but do you have some source, or more information about this? Is it going to be PoW? Which algo? Or PoS? Will it be somehow utilized in the Telegram messenger, or is it going to be a stand-alone project?

Re: salt is the best idea??
by

It's actually a very nice idea. If you have lot of Bitcoins let's say, you don't want to sell but need some cash for couple of months, this seems to be a good solution. It might turn out to be a genius business idea, especially now after most coins raised a lot and some people maybe have more money in crypto than in fiat Smiley

I really like the concept of OmiseGo. It's nice that they want to give opportunity to people without an access to a bank account to somehow joint the financial universe. On top of it, it also looks like a very good business idea. If OMG gets a lot of people on board, all hodlers will profit big time.

Re: 2018 is year of Crypto Exchange?
by
MatrixMining
on 07/01/2018, 16:07:11 UTC
I think that with all the new regulations (KYC etc.) the classical exchanges have to comply with not to get closed, we will probably see a boom of decentralized exchanges (DEX). They don't have to comply with anything as they are decentralized and thus can't be regulated by some stupid bureaucratic nonsense.
Some of them are already up and running, so I expect that people who don't want to send their ID scan to every exchange they use will switch to DEX massively in 2018.

by

on 06/01/2018, 23:21:23 UTC
Of course it can't go like this forever. But until more and more people and businesses are getting in, it will go on. For at least a next couple of years I believe.
Some abandoned and useless projects can pump & dump, but they will die eventually. But the useful and leading ones will continue to grow, with some corrections from time to time of course.

Re: Someone knows good airdrop?
by
MatrixMining
on 06/01/2018, 18:19:16 UTC
It is true that bounties usually pay off better than airdrops, so it is good to try to rank up and join bounties.
But there are also some exceptions. For example Byteball and DeepOnion were (and still are) distributed via airdrop and the early participants probably earned very good money from that. You just have to do some research if the project is worth your time... but it's quite difficult, because even doing the research takes a lot of time Cheesy
