[ANN] WoofCoin / New Coin [WOFC] GPU Mining/PoW

WOOF COIN

Since the beginning of the pandemic, pet surrendering rates have increased dramatically around the world. Waitlists for surrendering household pets have increased to a remarkable eight months as animal shelters and welfare organisations have seen an increase of 34% for animals needing help.

Typically, animal shelters are under resourced and under financed; relying heavily on donations and the volunteer efforts to assist animals.

This is where Woof Coin steps in. As avid lovers of dogs, we wanted to make a difference. Using the power of Proof of Work mining, we’ve created a coin where miners are contributing to the donation of money to animal welfare shelters. These shelters initially include the ASPCA who already have a cryptocurrency donation mechanism but with intention to expand to the RSPCA and other organizations suggested by the community.

Our aim is to put animals first and we intend on developing ongoing relationships with pet shelters to help adoption.

Coins Specifications
21 billion supply
Block 2,100,000 halving (4 years estimated)
Algorithm: KawPOW

I don't get it.  You created another forum for talking about Masari?  As if I don't have enough places to check for news already.

I don't get what you're saying. Are you saying Bitcointalk is the only forum that can exist, that anybody should ever use for cryptocurrency discussion? Can't a community have its own private, self-hosted solution where the lead developer has administrator roles? Do you really want to spend your days looking at this old and crusty forum software? You don't have to use it, Discord and Reddit aren't great for long-form, productive discussion. If someone has to make an account for a forum, that's a proof that they care a bit more than the average user. There are plenty of self-hosted forums for Ethereum.

what do you mean guys by asics already destroyed this coin .... !!!

mining this coin at this early age i guess its still good or you dnt think so ??

The hashrate on the chain is already 2MH/s which could only be accomplished with asics. Which means it's not worth it to mine on a CPU or GPU, just like how Bitcoin is no longer viable to mine on CPUs or GPUs yet once was.

it's cryptonight and those new cryptonight ASICs are out there.  Really good for coin development and securing the blockchain.  Not the greatest thing for old-school GPU miners.  1 ASIC miner = hundreds of GPU dudes.  I guess it will all work out.  Not that big a deal.  Just a lot of heated opinions out there right now and picky miners regarding algorithms.

It's not good for securing the blockchain, at all, you fool. This now means that there is no incentive to mine with GPUs, which means there are fewer individual miners. This can only harm networks, as now, individual users have control of massive hashrates, whereas prior to this in order to attain even 50KH/s you need to have a bunch of altruistic miners securing the chain, mayhaps even resulting in hundreds of individuals supporting the network before it's even on an exchange.

Now, with asics, there may only be one or two people mining a given coin at launch.

"Nice going", Dosh. Blockchain Height: 16098. Difficulty high already. Win wallet does not work. Really "egalitarian" when only linux users can mine it having started early on.

Oh my word.. Just watch a tutorial on how to compile the wallet.. All cryptonote currencies are the same in this regard. For me, compiling a wallet of a coin I've never seen/heard of before is incredibly simple

You are so entitled, just learn something. You can use the ubuntu subsystem in windows to do this easily. You don't get anything by being a victim, or by being entitled. What are you entitled to? If you want to be able to mine coins early, you have to be intelligent, tough luck.
