Re: Newbie should trade or not? Please give me idea.

Easiest way for a newbie is to pick 10-20 coins with potential that are really low and invest in them, hold, some will go xxx% eventually.

Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin?

Bitcoin has a growing number of true believers, who say it is not a bubble, but rather a world-changing revolution that more and more people are beginning to understand.

It seems likely that some cryptocurrency will endure and become very useful and popular over the long run. Bitcoin may or may not be the winner. In the meantime, because many people are currently investing in bitcoin merely to get rich, it does seem likely that the price will fluctuate wildly, causing some to lose much. (Bitcoin has gone through several massive sell-offs in which 80% of the value was lost in short order. Then again, in time it recovered from both of those crashes and marked large gains.)

Re: Is Bitcoin Really The Future Of Money?
by
Meggie
on 08/02/2018, 16:15:51 UTC
That future might be coming, but it’s slower to arrive than most enthusiasts think. Even a year later, if I tried to live only on Bitcoin for more than a week, I’d either be very hungry or very bored with my meal options. And that’s really the central issue with Bitcoin: Unless it becomes even easier for consumers and vendors to use, it could still become the Apple Newton of money—an incredible technology that flops.

Don't bother.

They lie when they say that BCN has been around since 2012.
How do you know?
They know everything! They know everything about the stuff that they don't give a shit about. Always never forget that

I know it sounds funny but if you hear something like that you can call him a troll.

Updates are good, but aren't we lacking activity on the promotion side?

Do you have any ideas?

No ideas needed! We need less cheap promotion and more focusing on technical issues. I mean, we're pretty focused already so we just need to keep it up! And screw the promotion. Those who really need Bytecoin will discover it easily.

Hmm what is this lull? Guess everybody's having a good time with the new updated Bytecoin. I updated everything as well, and it works great. Would like to express my graditude to Bytecoin developers for caring about us, users.

What do you like the most about the new updated Bytecoin?

Multi signatures, duuh.

Hello! What are the advantages of the multi-signature technology being included in BCN framework?

You're so random.

So what are the advantages of multi signatures besides the obvious, like transparency, scam protection and easier transactions?

It has glittery design and you hear celestial songs every time you make a trasaction.

But, seriously, what the hell do you need? Multi-signatures is a new revolutionary technology, it was discovered a short time ago and Bytecoin already implemented it! Keeps your money safe and sound.  Isnt it enough?

So the new stuff is buggy huh? Good for me then, i didn't update everything right away.

I love the idea of multi-signatures! Say NO to scammers and YES to transparent transactions!

If you ask me, you guys should much more use Monero exchange market on Poloniex as you do now.
https://poloniex.com/exchange/xmr_bcn

Price of Bytecoin is so low, that valued in satoshi, it dont fully show. On Monero market you can set price 300 times better.
Someone should put this link in OP and should become main exchange.

Does not sound appealing to me.

ByteCoin is now listed on https://www.alt2bit.com - We look forward to the growth of Bytecoin and all cryptonote technology.

Not significant but better than nothing...i mean, at least something is happening.

You sound like small news dont have a right to exist.

Sure they do. But lately all the "news" i see are about Bytecoin being added to random exchanges. They promised an update, but apparently it's not gonna happen.

I can find only 4 working BCN pools and extremepool has 77% of the net hash rate...

The following pools seem to have shut down fairly recently due to lack of support for small pools:

http://bcnpool.co.uk
http://bcn.oneevil.ru/
http://bcn.ext-pool.net/

Please support the smaller pools! This severely uneven spread of hash rate amongst all the pools is unhealthy.

never even heard of the 2nd one Undecided

What did you guys expect? You don't even come across these names here on this forum. If you ask people here which pool do they use, you will most likely get "minergaaate" or "extremepooool". Honestly, nobody gives a sh*t about those small pools. Furthermore, they don't even know about them, because they're too lazy to check page 1.

Checked the 1st page and found it there. My bad Embarrassed

I mine in Xmining pool as it's possible to mine Fantomcoin there.
The future is for merged mining, no doubt

Im thinking of merging Bytecoin with something else. Not sure which coin to choose.

Do Fantomcoin.  Grin

I was expecting smth like a detailed responce with some advantages and disadvantages described.... but ok, ill google it. Undecided
