I'm not surprised. Sendchat is mostly telegram source code with a simple template change with no independent network infrastructure. I wouldn't want to invest in something that was 100% dependent on telegram's network to operate.

IMO it's overpriced at even 400 sats. I would rather catch the dump after the ICO release which consistently happen 90% of the time since there's ICO buyers who sell before the actual APP release in > 1 month.

This should be in the altcoin section, not in gambling.

This sounds interesting.

Basically, it works like a traditional ponzi but you get credited Cloud Tokens per BTC invested. It should be possible to keep reinvesting and earn more Cloud Tokens if that's the case.

Basically, this is your first post ever in the gambling section when 99% of them are in the altcoin section. You're probably an alt of the OP.

I've actually frequently read threads in the gambling section for quite a while but this is my first post here.

I have no connection with the OP.

I still don't understand the point of SendCoin. There is no reason for it at all?

Theres no marketing for this, the CEO has no idea what he's talking about, and they're partnering with a known scammer of the community.

WTF is this? I just watched the video....the CEO has NO idea what he's talking about. Someone at the end asked if they'd be doing on chain or off chain transactions (which, they're doing on-chain, enjoy transaction fees for those 'micropayments') to which the CEO replys "no no, we are using all APIs".

.....what? The CEO seriously didn't understand a question about off and on chain transactions. Please, watch that video....this guy's clueless. I really cringed watching this video listening to this guy try to talk techy. "Telegram system.." its a protocol. Watch that and anybody with any technical knowledge will know this guys full of shit. Someone asks about details on the platform they're building on, in which he says "The telegram system has end encryption and stuff...their website has a lot of information on it." Really? No way, their website has information on their protocol, but you can't tell us in your presentation about the protocol?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItXmhgSWnYw

This is ridiculous. I really hope nobody is putting money into this. Please don't be fooled by their 'PR' releases...they pay PRWire to blast it out to any news site that will accept it. Its a known marketing scam.

I'll be following, but I don't see this getting more than 10 BTC of 'dumb' money (people who dump on first day in hopes of profit), and none of mine. Seems like they tried to ride this NXTTY / GEMS wave.

Very well said, I'm finally glad someone made this point. Never considered investing based on those facts.

Re: [ANN][ICG][X11] IncognitoCoin | Pos 5% | Bittrex | ATM |
by

Currently, I'm communicating with three outside developers in addition to the main ICG team. Plans are being made to focus on the creation of a staking mobile wallet incorporating all of the advanced features  from the main ICG wallet. Later, additions to the Incognito coin network will be added in the form of either additional services added to the ICG wallet or additional functionality to Incignito coin's transaction system.

The core Incognito team is still completing the brain wallet generator app and adding a merchant section to the main ICG website. Merchants are adopting ICG at a steady rate as a non-staking mobile wallet, web-wallet, paper wallet generator, and ATMs are presently available. Development is moving forward as I coordinate the main team with outside developers. More information will be released once development is finalized and nearing release.

Where can I find this things?

Through the payment processor cointopay.com

20+ other coins have the same features through the same payment processor. I doubt that the ICG team would release any features until they get donations. There's really nothing unique about this coin since the ATM integration is optional as the ATM owner would have to select other coins besides the default options (BTC, LTC, and Doge) which I doubt anyone has actually done. The forum is being spammed to oblivion, the website is outdated, and there's always less than three people staking meaning virtually no adoption of ICG.

News from devs?

Nice rise

It's mostly all fake volume. Someone who bought alot of ICG earlier is trying to create an exit opportunity. I wouldn't expect any updates in the short term.

Thanks for the answer. I like the potential of this coin. Seen the videos on Youtube an they look smooth, compliments.

Lots of other questions comming to my mind.

- Are the devs Dutch?
- Is there a link with Guldencoin?
- The merchant Coffee Central (from the video) is that the one in the city of Leeuwarden? Does that mean I can pay there with ICG?

The developers have different nationalities. Hectortilla lives in Barcelona, Spain, Chedigital lives somewhere northeast in the USA, and I'm unsure for the rest.
There's no link with Guldencoin and as far as I know, coffee central does not accept ICG.

I would like to give a quick update stating that development is already underway for the features mentioned in my earlier post (staking-mobile wallet, multi-signature transactions, and other advanced network functionality which is still being decided). I will give a release date once development is nearly finished as well as a complete listing of what features will be introduced into the Incognito coin wallets.

The community should be able to get ICG accepted by more merchants and payment processors while development progresses. There's already merchant API tools available for ICG on Cointopay.com to allow quick implementation for any web merchants wanting to accept Incognito coin.

I have already contacted a few merchants and payment processors. Any responses of acceptance will be posted here.

It would seem like someone is trying to suppress the price before the next development release. I'm also going to contact crypto-gambling sites and try to get Incognito coin accepted.

Based on the latest development post, the next set of features should be released relatively soon.

currently hot at bittrex  Grin

The volume has been sustained in the past couple days without a significant change in price so it looks like it's natural growth from the addition of new investors rather than a pump.

With the recent development post announcing work of a staking mobile wallet, new wallet version with new features, and additional network features. There's large poetential in attracting new users to the ICG community.

Introducing the closed payment system API into other applications is the next logical step. Getting more payment processors to accept ICG will create new opportunities to incorporate existing development in to new uses. It will also open up access to more merchants who indirectly accept crypto-currencies through use of a payment processor.

A community effort to increase acceptance of Incognito coin has been on-going and yielding succuss in merchant adoption. Although there's not neccesarily alot of businesses that accept alt-coins to begin with but web merchants will.

Fair point. It would be better to search for businesses and create a list containing potential merchants to contact in regards to accepting ICG. Hypothetically even dark-web merchants could be contacted but typically they won't reply back.

Speaking of service platforms. ICG could get accepted into a social messaging app and therefore be able to facilitate transactions to a wider user-base.

That would be something to consider in the next development cycle. Technically the merchant API tools could be ported into a social messaging application. Although most applications only accept the alternate cryptocurrency issued by the creator besides bitcoin. It would be more ideal to wait until another application began accepting multiple alternate crypto currencies first and then request ICG to be accepted.

That would save development time instead of creating the service specifically for ICG. It's important to focus on the fundamentals for the moment like improving the tx system by adding additional layers of encryption or by including new functions within the wallet for the next release.

The last development post mentioned new wallet features so it appears that we'll see a new wallet version before any changes are made to the ICG network.

but question is where is the dev

From the OP, Chedigital and goldencrypto are developing a brain wallet app and manage the ICG website. Desil works on promotion and business development. Hectortilla and Fernando have contributed in the past and are likely still helping. According to a recent post there's three other developers working with the main ICG team in improving the wallet and adding new features. There's no main dedicated Dev at the moment but rather a collection of people helping.

Historically a develper would post when a release was imminent  as I guess there wouldn't be a point in making a concrete date for release if it relies on the cooperation of multiple people which could be difficult to manage. Although it seems that progress is being made so it shouldn't be too long before the announcement of a release.

At some point it would be nice to see full incorporation of services into ICG so that it would act as a platform. Progress made towards that goal will open up new avenues of development and make incognito coin truely innovative.

Desil's animation and promotion work should help expand ICG's user-base as developments are worked on. Further functionality with ICG will set itself apart from other alt-coins.

That's great news. All of these developments will contribute to incognito coin and help improve its real-world use. I'm looking forward to more ATM integration and merchant adoption as the ICG team becomes larger and the community helps get more merchants to accept ICG.

I can also see Incognito coin getting accepted by crypto-social networking platforms as the ICG infrastructure is quite strong at the moment. I would argue that ATM implentation is the strongest aspect.

I've noticed a increase of 300 twitter followers since the past week. Nice animation videos at the main twitter page: https://twitter.com/Incognitocoin
The PR is being handled well while development is moving along. With more community involvement, more payment processors should accept ICG.

Yes, I've noticed this as well. Everything is looking strong as a formal plan is being made involving the community and a network of developers. I'm pretty sure there's at least a few other alt-coin ATM providers out there besides Generalbytes where ICG is already accepted.
