Even more reasons not to use a site like that. Withdrawal and trading fees are things you check before depositing your coins into an exchange. All the exchanges I have used in the past have dedicated pages or FAQ sections where that is explained.

It doesn't make you a professional, no. It does make you kind of a scumbag. Taking advantage of bugs to take money that isn't yours is stealing. Responsible disclosure is great, but that doesn't mean you can abuse certain features because you were at the right place at the right time. I assume that for you it's ok to take someone's wallet and phone if you found them on the street and you happened to walk by at the right time.

The gist of all this is a scumbag took advantage of a shitty exchange and took money that didn't belong to them. Eventually, that shitty exchange exit scammed or went down disappearing with everyone's money. It's unfortunate for those innocent ones that got caught up in the mess, not so much for you though. I seriously doubt you are going to get any sympathy after what you just said, so feel free to close your thread and enjoy the money you got from the bugs/vulnerabilities you abused.

I am sorry that you lost your money, and hopefully you will learn something from all of this. I have to agree with what Wapinter said that your coins should never have been left on a centralized exchange in the first place. If you had them in a personal wallet, you wouldn't have to worry about what happens to Decoin or any other site. Use this negative experience to learn about self-custody and how it can benefit you. Also, remember that an exchange is not a wallet for long-term crypto storage. It's just a temporary service you use to swap two coins. 

I took a look at some random pages in that thread searching if Wapinter wrote posts and engaged the community in discussion after creating the OP. And he actually did. So he wasn't just a bounty manager, but someone who had a vested interest in seeing that project succeed or he was paid to maintain that thread. In either case, there is a connection between him and the project, which was bigger than someone just being employed to create the opening post. Have you contacted him and asked him to comment?

That's because scams are not moderated on Bitcointalk and scammers don't get banned. The community tags them and issues negative feedback, and it's up to the forum users to research and decide for themselves who they want to trust and who not.

There is nothing I can do to get you your money back, so there is no need to do that. That platform is also not represented here on the forum, so aside from Wapinter, there is no one else to contact for help or tag. I don't consider a bounty manager creating a thread an official representative. They were paid for handling the bounty and designing the thread, and that's where it ends, unless the bounty manager stated publicly he is an official representative. 

I know, it puts you in a pickle. Most cryptocurrencies use public blockchains where transaction data can be verified by anyone. It's an invasion of your privacy, but you could show records proving you deposited those coins to an address/addresses connected with that Decoin exchange. Your receiving address on Decoin would, of course, have to be connected to a known Decoin address by some service like WalletExplorer, Breadcrumbs, or similar.     

I don't think it's going to change anything, but I am just telling you how a proper scam accusation is supposed to look like. Someone looking at the thread and the evidence provided is supposed to have no doubt that you got scammed. With the way you did it, that's not the case. It's just some text that hasn't been backed up by any proof and even contains links that shouldn't be there, like the link to the ANN thread. 

wapinter i thought just posted and i remember him as decoin bounty manager , if you have a problem with your money , that means you are dealing with the founder of decoin , you can try to contact wapinter maybe he can help you to connect directly with the founder of Decoin , i also have a bit of money there but i had forgotten about it.

this is for a lesson in your finances , better to keep in your personal wallet address or at least choose a reputable and clear exchange

I can't confirm if it's a scam or not, but when I tried to open a Decoin exchange, I didn't receive a confirmation email to login, so I couldn't enter the exchange. I'm sure this exchange is in trouble, at least they have an error in setting the confirmation email.

What solution are you trying to find exactly? If it's about the lost money then don't give up so easily. Your desire to recover it will also determine how fast or how possibly it's recovered

Part of my role is to help you recover what they owe you, but if you already considered it gone then there is little I can do to help except advising others to beware of scams.
If it's a genuinely scam company/organization I believe there will be punishment unless they give people back their funds/assets. Apology maybe accepted if the victims forgive them.


You should conclude your conversation with the Msko administrator, let's see what he has to say or whether he can be of any help.

And maybe we will see someone from their group to answer your queries. But in any case, I would advise that you should treat your money as gone already.

But giving the community a warning about this project could prevent others to fall for their trick.

If decoin scammed, you create a proper scam accusation in the board suggested to you by one of the members.

If you have strong proof linking Decoin to MSKO you can also create a free scam accusation about them with all the evidence so that members can stay away from both projects. It's the best thing you can do right now.

Try and see if you can speak to them privately to hear them first before deciding on next course of action.

You should try asking the msko team member/members about it privately. So far I notice one member who is/was part of the decoin team.
