High bid of 2.5???

That's tempting...almost seems like a steal no?

Good to hear/see I am wrong in regards to Cryptsy's choice of CN listing. It'll be nice to have some more liquidity and hopefully a larger userbase. Can't say I've visited the site in what seems like ages however.

Congratulations CryptoNote friends!

I think the meaning of this Tweet is obvious:

https://twitter.com/cryptsy/status/631672049631629312

@BBRcurrency We will be listing at least one CryptoNote coin this week. 2.0 integrations in general have been slow for us. But not anymore

"We will be listing at least one CryptoNote coin this week" surely must mean Monero

Please thank me for sharing the news by following my Twitter account.

Not to be negative, but after the internet journalist from whatever bogus site spoke out regarding sketchy activity and forced articles I wouldn't be surprised to see BCN listed there after supplying a fat consideration bonus.

Traders jumping from coin to coin aren't the most rational. I imagine the ETH hype and volume is stealing some steam.

So with saddam's help I signed up over the weekend. I realize to get started I'll need to deposit and buy land, a house, career path then deeper and deeper. Would it be possible to donate to the wizard although I haven't gotten my CK character started so to speak?

BBands getting tight again, volume dropping off, I'd rather see things go the opposite way but I'm beginning to expect a dip to the .0022 region. Although there has been nice support around .0024 I don't see enough depth there presently to sustain a cascade of minor dumps.

I'm not going to be the guy who starts dumping though. I'll wait for the buying opportunity.

I always thought the buyer funded clause was based on a USD threshold being mailed through USPS. I could've misinterpreted that from a long time ago last time this came up, more than likely it's just a personal stipulation of smoothie's.

I bid 0.03 BTC.

whole thing stinks.

Ohaithere!

Welcome to bitcointalk.org's Bitcoin Securites forum where trolls, shills, early adopters, pumpers, scammers, thieves, liars, idiots, misers, investors, divestors, and more run rampant. A truly fine example of an unregulated free market at its worst best!

Well that was an exciting day, anyone up to do it again tomorrow? I mean we don't all have to buy more XMR at the same time...

I think ArticMine is spot on like usual, smooth speaks the truth about mining and hashrate growth, while TC is brewing over profit of his future dump. However price is a sporadic bitch within chaotic confines. Let's call it a day and be happy with the green.

Hopefully the Monero community continues to grow in order to match all the progress and forward thinking being established in the present.

P.S. I've only seen this ~5 times on reddit, but with DASH/X/DARK/PEDO being booted from finex who thinks there is a proper chance in having Monero listed on their exchange? Anyone (or dev) have any recent communication in regards to technical assistance or true intentions of investigating a possible market? I will consider it all a pipedream within the forseeable future otherwise. But that's just me being slightly narcissistic honest.

Cmon guys I said dump not pump, whats with all the competition?  Roll Eyes

So I can't imagine there will be many profit takers sub .003. Seems more like time to buy back in level and see where this goes?

Waiting for a dip. Surely some whale wants to make a statement and dump 50-100k XMR right? Just let me know when and you can have my BTC.

Is it safe to purchase a Trezor wallet from someone else (that you might not trust)? Is there any way that something could go wrong if the wallet was tampered with somehow?

How much value does a day devoid of paranoia hold to you?

The fact you through in "might not trust" tells me you know the right answer.

If you want to save a few bucks just wait for another sale or mine on slush's pool for a bit.

I don't think multi-sig is functioning at the moment for XMR but it's a future planned feature.  I could be wrong, and if so, please correct me.

No you're right, I had typed all in due time after saying that but figured I was about to start a monologue so erased it.  Wink

Although I am curious about what stage of development multi sig is in. Guess I'll go fumble around github after I take a shower.

Edit: I'm getting giddy just thinking about multi-sig being implemented into Monero in the future. I think I need to unplug for a couple days...

the single largest factor which i can identify as likely to trigger an xmr bull run is capital controls in europe.  when peripheral sovereign spreads blow up again, it means the ecb gets desperate in the face of failure and capital controls are imminent.  the next most likely trigger is a publicized series of arrests of darknet market players, particularly if demonstrably related to blockchain analysis.  that would chill btc blackmarkets and xmr is the most fit competitor.  synergetic scenarios are possible as well, but less likely.  for example, greek barter economy adopts btc, tax arrests follow...

i think europe and east asia are the most likely sources of a demand impulse.

I still can't believe DNM users (and vendors) haven't pushed their markets towards utilizing Multi-Sig for their financial protection, their privacy however....

XMR + Multi-Sig + DNM = Future goldmine in my opinion. Call it Mo' Obfuscation Market. M.O.M.  Cheesy

Re: Speculation - Excuse my inexperience, but would all those green candles but slight downtrend (using this term loosely) / stability over the past week be considered an accumulation zone?

Or are we all forever in the accumulation zone?
