Classic. BFL must stand for Blame Foolish Losers. In other words blame the people they made losers by over promising and under delivering.
Edit: I read the article and I'm not seeing how they're blaming the customers in this instance. I'm keeping my comments above because BFL has a history of casting blame to anybody but themselves.

Would like to hear some good news from you Lab Rat.
I'm getting beaten up out there. So many scammers and incompetents "losing" my BTC. I'm keeping my crypto in my pants from now on. However, some good news out of LRM would be nice.
I just have been banned from Michaela's anti Bitcoin-Trader facebook group, despite the announcement that nobidy will be banned. Michaela Juric-Donlan is an Australian Scammer, former stripper and prostitute using the following webpage to sell her illicit program: http://www.bitcoin-babe.com/
Go cry somewhere else. If you're going to throw about accusations that somebody is or was a stripper/prostitute you'd better provide some goddamn evidence otherwise you come off as a prat who will throw such accusations at any female who turned you down. Must be really fun to be a woman in this space. Do anything and you get labeled a whore. Such rubbish.
I don't know if she's a scammer or not but her sexual history has absolutely nothing to do with that so don't even bring it up. You've been banned? Zero fucks given, you probably earned it.

Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement
In late may 2013 the difficulty was 12,153,412 meaning the network hashrate was approx. 87TH/s. What I saw in the office there was capable of running at a minimum 5TH/s and that was what was sitting in the office. Some plugged in, some getting boxed up, and some being assembled. I find it hard to believe that was the only hardware they had readily available.
This would put them at 207 BTC per day if there was no additional hardware at all off site. I saw a few other things I didn't like as well...
This makes me question why you would order Monarchs from such a disreputable source. Hopefully we'll get refunded but who knows?
Hope this isn't off topic but does anybody know anything about address 1C7ySAGbhrqdneDMC3sDSbxhoX3p7yHYUa Blockchain.info says it originated out of Stockholm. I have requested my refund from Alpha. I paid full (or rather foolishly) for a 50MH Viper. Today I received 108 milliBits from that address. Please don't tell me that is the extent of my refund.
On the face of it seems unrelated to Alpha.
Did alpha respond to your refund request? You paid full so I guess alpha would offer you 30% refund of total payment. This would be done via bank transfer, but I never heard of anyone receiving a refund from them. Probably because no one takes a loss of 70% In your case I think you were just lucky getting some BTC out of nowhere. Same happened to me a month ago
I'll take a loss of 70% when the only other option appears to be 100%
No reply from Alpha regarding my request. You know, transactions are just kind of random when you're not expecting it and there isn't any message in the transaction or notification through other means. Seems like a problem that will only get worse as more people use crypto more often.

No, from day one they promised things that were out of reach, the address was a shack, they had no legit information or staff, and there were MAJOR suspicions about the claims. I'm not seeing a lot of intelligent people "invested" here, just a lot of people who ignored all the warning signs, and actual warnings.
This is the kind of sick world we live in. People get ripped off and some insist on blaming the victims. Get a life RickJamesBTC and STFU.

I'm about to launch the new site on which you will be able to purchase contracts direct via BitPay and I'm looking to secure additional funding for Dave's franchise program, Spondoolies at an unbeatable price, and I'm also looking into expanding into Scrypt depending on the opinion of contract holders.
My sale price for packs of 1000 contracts will be at 0.00425/ contract so it will save you a little based upon your bid on the contract purchase thread. If you're interested please get back to me via email at labrat@labratmining.com and I can arrange to sell you contracts direct before launch of the new site. This will allow you to gain the benefits of 1 or 2 additional contract payouts before the site goes live.
Please do not share this info on the forums as it is going out with a proper announcement.
Thanks, -Lab_Rat
Thank you for sharing this elitenoob. It's pretty damning.
We've all been had. Best wishes to the plaintiffs in the case. Perhaps they can achieve justice here.

This lack of bonus is the kind of thing that *might* fly if there were any transparency in the operation. As it is it's inexplicable and demonstrates that those of us who trusted you to pay bonuses honestly were in error. How are we to know how much is going to pay what? How much might be pocketed?
It's never too late to start Zach. Everybody has been clamoring for full transparency from the start. You have zero chance to sell new shares to anybody but the gullible if you don't open the kimono some.

Brandon's intention is almost certainly to burn the company to the ground and then go after Zach's personal assets - he isn't playing games. Something went sour, this suit is the result.
Been following LRM from the beginning. Sorry but Brandon doesn't ring a bell. Who is he? Did he go by a different user name?

tl;dr: "We're going to firehose all of the various internet Bitcoin forums and boards with posts containing BFL contact info, please send me $100 to buy the software."
Really?!
I'd rather give BFL another hundred dollars than send it to someone to pollute the internet with more spam.
grnbrg.
Well, that is what we are going to do, with or without help from this board.
Regardless of what BFL has done (and I'm not defending them in the slightest) spamming more detestable.
DIAF.
grnbrg.
Well, then you should not detest us for what we are going to do.
Please note that the definition of spam is unsolicited commercial EMAIL.
We are not emailing.
2nded grnbrg there and can also reiterate Spam (electronic) does not only apply to email (nor has it as long as the term has existed in relation to the internet). I waited for BFL last time (65nm) and didn't back out for refund then continue crying in the shoutbox about how evil and corrupt etc etc they were.
If only they provided bridge building kits!
Thirded. Just watch Dutchies thread he linked to for a survey of his character when challenged. 2nded grnbrg's DIAF comment. Dutchie, reported and ignored. Good riddance.

Carried over from LRM forum.
Spamming boards is NOT the way to do this. How about all of your spam posts being burned and buried within an hour? As an admin of more than one website I submit that comment spam is a constant burden. Adding to it is reprehensible no matter the legitimacy of the cause.
You'll make a ton of enemies if you proceed. Guaranteed.

Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement
I'm surprised BFL still had enough customer goodwill to survive their 65nm debacle. I guess the proposed hash rates and delivery time were too attractive. I didn't really believe their hype that they would move much faster the second time around because of lessons learned from their first ASICs. I believed they would be late but golly-gee-willakers they've gone well past what I expected.
If this round doesn't kill every ounce of confidence in BFL I don't know what will. Corporate Karma has come around exacting a toll for poor customer treatment/service and opaque intentionally vague/misleading updates on progress.
I wish BFL customers well but I feel like it's a similar situation to Mt. Gox. Crypto is better off without the company stinking up the place and customers had plenty of warning that things didn't pass the smell test.

Any stance you care to share on Bitmain? I went in for one of the new S3 miners. Seems like a nice option for individuals but perhaps not ideal for the big boys.
