Is it my imagination, or is there in fact somewhere online a post which appears legitimately to be from an XSN dev, in which said Dev questioned the current validity and future sustainability of the 'masternode' concept? I don't think I dreamt it, and if I did I'm not convinced that dream was ill-considered. I've tried and tried to find it to no avail - can anyone point me in the direction of such a post, or should I call the men in white coats?
Hate to say it but think you must be confused with another project.
It is not impossible. But only really on the basis that nothing is impossible. I am less involved with cryptos recently than I have been historically. I am near-certain however that I've recently read a post by what appeared to be someone closely affiliated with development of this project, whose estimation regarding masternodes was that the arguments for them being outdated had become overwhelming. I'll continue to look, I am certain such a post is out there somewhere. If not I apologise, but bitcointalk's scrutiny is enough to find it if I'm right.

Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s
Its Sunday Its covid time Its a 48h to get a response
Will Bittrex risk the reputation scamming You for this tx? No, they will not
Just wait for the support
You are right if the person sends the coins to the right address, then he need not bother much, Once the Bittrex support starts answering they will solve his request. On weekends support people not answer to any questions raised by their customers, we need to give some time for them to get a reply from the Bittrex.
Alright so support got back to me. I didn't actually receive an explanation, but it was suggested that it may have been an orphan. The funds have been credited to my exchange account and I'll try again.
Edit: All good this time, funds received. I don't mind admitting that I've no clue what an "orphan" is due to my years of rather lazily pursuing cryptos, but that I imagine this to be a problem with the exchange as opposed to a problem with the coin. I might be more inclined to appropriate blame if I better understood what just happened, but I won't be spending considerable funds via that exchange for this particular currency, because even for a tiny amount, it's hair-raising when funds disappear like that.

Re: Zilliqa: A scalable blockchain platform with througput of thousands of TX/s
Is anyone else having a problem using Bittrex? Yesterday I withdrew ZIL from their exchange to my wallet, their site states that the tx was successful, but I've received no coins and the txid bittrex gave me isn't recognised on explorers. Support hasn't mailed me back, been waiting like 24 hours. Beware!!
do not panic, take a deep breath
copy - paste your receiving address into the zil explorer https://viewblock.io/ and see what is going on the support can be busy, wait at least 48 hours
good luck.
Thanks dude but I'm fairly sure they've done something wrong here. The transaction ID they've given me yields no results on explorers, including the one you just linked. My address on explorers shows no incoming transactions either. They worked fine with Binance a week or two ago, but who knows where Bittrex sent my coins. Still awaiting their response, I'll update when they've been in touch.
OK still no response and i'm a little bored waiting. It's a small amount of funds so I'm not too worried, but like fuck am I spending any more serious money if this is what I'm to expect.
Here's what the relevant portion of my Bittrex's account detailing the mystery withdrawal:
TxId 1eea08c053addfffaeda6e3ae9d8e6d93ae72d6fe6420da6b7520bd9b3509283 Address zil1rtchhwqm80xg03kacwxmjly508aql44fc7t26s Date 2020/04/04 08:34:20 Symbol ZIL Quantity 3,386.78170881 Commission 0.00100000 Status Completed Authorized Yes
No sign of the coins, no sign of the tx on explorers, no response yet from Bittrex. Withdrawals from Binance a couple of weeks back worked without issues. Can anyone decipher what's happening here?

Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin
A new version of wallet v1.0.21 has been released, this is a mandatory update for all nodes, all network nodes must be updated to this version before December 2
I was only alerted to this fork by way of an unusual amount of success staking all of a sudden. I'd left the node running on the old chain and had fewer stakers with whom to compete for a stake, and on a completely useless chain whose coins will be rejected by the new one. So I guess those who don't realise the fork happened will keep accumulating a bunch of useless, old coins on a dead chain... at least they'll get a lot of them, lol.

I feel like faith has been restored in KMD after the prior issues, I envisage a substantial price increase very soon

So I can stake any amount of coins, right? Would someone staking 7,500 coins receive half the reward of a masternode owner who had 15,000, or is there a specific set of advantages/bonuses which apply only to the magic number of 15,000?

Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - next generation platform, Secured by Bitcoin
How do I incorporate my wallet.keys file from 2014 into the current wallet? It just says unrecognised wallet type or something like that. Help!
OK, after A LOT of faffing around trying different things, I finally managed to find an old version of the bytecoin wallet, import my .keys file then export a .wallet file which the newest wallet finds to be compatible. Hate it when devs do this. I don't want to spend hours fixing things just because I left the scene for a while. Why was my old file totally incompatible? It shouldn't have been. Anyway, seems to be fixed now.

My old 2014 wallet files aren't the same. There's no wallet.dat, just a file consisting of my username and no extension, and a file named username.keys. how do I incorporate this into the current wallet?
I can't send any coins anywhere if I can't import incompatible key files from an older version of the wallet. That's the problem I'm trying to fix.
The swap document linked above leads you through the process to swap you coins and details each step. It's not as simple as opening your old wallet or importing your old key. You must swap to the new network and the document provides instructions on how to do so (aka you will send your old coins to the bot using the old software, then you will receive your upgraded coins which you will then withdraw into a new wallet on the current network).

That verus wallet is as woodoo as the one that got hacked!
It gives complete illogical errors. I am selling my KMD.
Not coming back!
It's just an annoyance, I think this is an over-reaction. Maybe sell a quarter or something? It's a shame things have stumbled like this but after what happened I suppose some kind of frantic panic is inevitable. Things will stabilise I'm sure.
