Re: How to lose your funds

Here's a quick how to lose your funds guide.

1. Keep your coins at various exchanges rather than your own wallets.
2. Send large amounts of crypto to unknown people who you've never had business with and who have no presense in the space.
3. Be as disorganized as possible with your backups, ideally you shouldn't even have any backups, if that hard drive fails, your funds dissapear too.

Sounds good to me too Smiley

Never use own wallets

I started to become active on youtube by uploading videos, and so far I have 100+ subscribers. I have many free time now due to lockdown thats why im trying to do something different.

Can you give me an idea what videos can attract viewers the most?

Stick to a single style in your videos and have consistency is what I'd say helps promote you and your brand as an image.

Why are people still doing this in 2020, quick returns or just the nature of human gullibility.

Re: Large number of face mask selling threads in marketplace board
by

There are many reports of Chinese N95 masks being imported into the US that do not filter 95% of particles (as is required to be a *N95* mask) or are otherwise defective.

There is also a lot of suppliers of medical suppliers who have popped up recently that have shown themselves to be unreliable, at best.

I would strongly recommend against buying from anyone selling masks, medical supplies, or anything coronavirus related on this forum.

They just gotta make that hustle man, unfortunately it is what it is. There have been several investigations into that n95 reliability and for a lot of chinese masks its complete BS and they just get a peice of fabric and plaster n95 onto it.

The Indians at it again.

Is there still so much money left in the ICO business that it's profitable to try Adam a large amount, or are people still just wanting to make a quick buck.

ARE YOU SCAMMER

The actual situation is that we pay for the Advisor from Singapore, The pictures and names we show are names and pictures given to us by a man named Mark Chew. Now we have been deceived.

Lmao, are you for real now? This is some next level stuff. Well then why not show the real identity of the ICO team instead of this fake stuff?

Re: 1 MAN 560+ accounts on forum, Millions of tokens abused.

I doubt one person is able to do this, it's most likely a team of abusers working together.

It's not so hard, since we have no Ip restriction is quite easy, one bot to rule them all.

If I'm not mistaken, Bitcointalk does have an IP "ban" system that will lock accounts if too many accounts have been created. After that, it will ask you to pay a fee which you have to pay. I'm not sure if you do have to pay after that for more accounts (if there is a reoccuring theme here) or you are allowed to make as many accounts as you want to.

Re: why 42 merits for bounty hunter
by
Miztro
on 29/07/2018, 14:20:29 UTC
One side, senior members are talking about the cleaning of spam poster from this side and another side senior member is giving 42 merits for one post for bounty hunter...

merit giver :   roslinpl (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=158505)

merit receiver: i7claufe (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1719874)  you can see his post, he is doing the only bounty...

I wouldn't say he is doing it for a shady reason. Just let it slide my man. No point arguing. Its probably justified.

There's always a difference between clear blatant trust/account farming and just giving away merits.

When will this thing ever be resolved? TLDR: Is it really a scam or just a bunch of shilling. I have to say they seem(ed) trustworthy at the start as they have pretty public advertising, but recently on their website things have gone quiter. IDK thats just me

Interesting point here, interested to see how this will be explained.

Dang! Could jamalaezaz be Lauda too. A stretch too far I admit, but I wouldn't discount anything on this forum. People have said Atriz and Lauda are the same.

Naa I wouldn't say. That's going a little bit too far in assumptions I think   Cheesy

you do not see the Warning -2 in red who want to say flee as you can Grin

Yeah, this is the first thing you should watch out for. Never ever trust anyone with -2 trust (in extremely small cases you possibly can), however you should have protected yourself with an escrow. While it costs, it should give you protection to some degree.

You want a merit and yet you don't want to read the FUCKING OP. Maybe you can leave the forum now and find a decent job Smiley

Lol, this one made me laugh. Good one. I think this is very applicable to around 90% of the forum's current population.

I'm going to tag these people. if they turn out to be innocent, you'll get tagged yourself. deal?

1) A tag from you doesn't mean jackshit

2) You don't make deals with trust ratings. If you want to tag these people, go ahead. To say "If they turned out to be innocent, you'll get tagged yourself" is completely abusing the trust system.

3) Didn't expect anything less from you

Very much agreed lol. Digaran, really? Undecided  At least try to thank the guy who is in some way making the forum a better place.

Re: John Mcafee not ot be trusted
by
Miztro
on 03/06/2018, 07:30:25 UTC
John Mcafee is very well known in the online world because of mcafee antivirus and recently cryptocurrency.

Do not listen to this guy's investment advice.  He takes bribes to promote certain projects.  Last time I heard it was 100k usd for him to shill your coin.

This guy is a constant lier and is not to be trusted.

Yeah, unfortunately he's lost most of his credibility due to his dodgy behavior. The man should look at himself in the mirror and actually be honest here and there.

Though at first when he was introduced to the crypto scene he was a good guy, or at least it looked like that to me. After-all, he owns a pretty powerful business; so he probably knows his stuff. But, people change, and I guess so did he.

Re: Red trust evading/abusing bounties, new storm of accounts. NEED DT
by
Miztro
on 03/06/2018, 07:24:23 UTC
I have already tagged them, let us wait for the people in position of power to see this topic and tag them.

Note, once more, I'd remove any red tag I have left for people if they provide reason.

These account farmers need to be punished somehow. This is really getting out of hand. Theymos should impose a much stricter IP ban policy than ever before, or remove bounties from here altogether.

bump they are joining bounties again Sad can anyone please look at this? Cry

They will do that till they are caught, and maybe even after that. Most bounties don't forbid people with negative trust to join, so it probably wouldn't even matter at all to them. That's the sad part about it. Instead they'll probably make new accounts alongside and continue as before.

Re: BTC Whales and pump and dumps have destroyed this market
by
Miztro
on 02/06/2018, 10:37:57 UTC
Someone just pumped BTC 100 USD
It is impossible for rational thinkers to make sense of this market: Whales and pump and dump entities have destroyed it.
In addition BTC pairs are on the way out and will make BTC worthless.

That's the main problem I think apart from media perceivance.

Bitcoin is being artificially inflated and dumped by these types of people to gain profit. Bitcoin should be left alone to grow normally, however it just isn't when the market is as it is today

There are too many average Joe's that quickly react to any change in the price of BTC, and this is what's causing such huge fluctuations

Re: When will Apple accept bitcoins?
by
Miztro
on 02/06/2018, 06:31:43 UTC
When they really need to. But they'll fight it hard! Apple's business model is to lock everything down -- very closed indeed. This does not align with the goals of bitcoin, at least, how I perceive them.

tl;dr Apple = closed. BTC = open.

No lol, why would they accept Bitcoin at and time?  They would be the last people to do that.

You do realise apple products are made for people who are just comfortable in their own little world, and aren't willing to take risks or explore new things ( a bit stereotypical, but somewhat true). Bitcoin would be the opposite in just about every aspect.
