Im interested in some simple OP_Return functions, are there any altcoins that have made use of this to encode hashes?

I know of proofofexistence, secretcoin, cryptograffiti etc but are three any examples that make use of daemon as opposed to blockchain.info api?

Last of all, has Bitcore received support for PoS coins yet? (I know blackcoin and PIGGY were porting)

A couple of basic questions here for a little project ive been thinking about. Data is provided at "nodes" which can output readings in hexadecimal. I want know if it possible to encode these hex readings onto a chain using bitcoin protocol. Would it be possible to adjust hashing power based on this?  The main goals would be to:

Ensure data collection taken from each node should have integrity.

Keep readings in sync on the network at a constant rate wtih time stamping

Be able to extract encoded data from the chain, allowing identification of anomalies or issues with a node (did a node output an unusal hex value?)

Does this sound feasible at all or is there a better approach for achieving these goals on the blockchain?

Note: This would be on a closed network and simply make use of blockchain tech to achieve the above goals.

From experience this coyld be a number of things. Forking somewhere, not connected to right peers. My advice would be to connect to nodes and do a full rescan / resync (be sure to back everything up). That way you can be on the same chain as everyone else.

New qt is clean and syncs up just fine. Will the tab let me access and post jobs when it goes live?

Every decent coin has its own angle and little bit of innovation. I love reading the latest bits of tech. Does anyone know if there is  blockchain tech that could embed data (perhaps readings from a sensor) for transmission around the network?  Use case would allow user to monitor and explore the chain to extract values from any time.

Also i remember xst being a coin of interest at one point and whatever nhz /nxt were going for.

Its understandable a project like this can take time to come to fruition. I'd say sit tight and let the dev team get on with work and once listed you wont regret. Patience and communication are key. Was enjoying your twitter updates, hope to see more.

Reddit sounds good. Will we be able to upload a sample portfolio of our work like fiverr? I think its quite important for freelancers to show off their talent. I've been on other freelancing websites and its basically a condensed CV. Sounds good but they have nothing to show.   

I feel that paid tipping and evidence of this on the blockchain may deter false feedback. Milestones incentivise both parties to make the agreement work. Perhaps some sort of smart contract would be useful.

I was never too keen on the whole traders slack on ARCH. But if people benefited from it, fair enough.

I'd like to ask, would you consider adding some functions to the website for file hosting or will freelancers need to provide their own links to customers? Not a big issue just curious as to how file sharing will work. It'd be nice to see real reviews for good work. So many auto generated "artwork" on fiverr, quite hard to find real talent that is reliable.  

Oh and if you guys do open a crypto section for coin services I'm sure it will be a hit!

 Easy enough fix - Backup your wallet.dat in the appdata folder. Delete everything else in there, restart the client. It should work.

Im pretty sure their partnership incurs heavy fees, something like 10% charge and 20% seller fee or whatever.

I would say Bithire should stick with lower fees and also allow tailor made rates. Freelancers always need more outlets of exposure so I do think this project can work well. I would also like to see a little bit of focus on supporting crypto freelancers - the forum is full of fraud devs. BitHire could help build public profiles for legitimate devs and services.
