The default address when I made the account was the same address of the deposit one and I didn’t change that on the profile address..now it won’t let me do that and everything which requires to receive an email like change password or enable 2fa etc.

I am sorry, but by deposit address you mean the address you use to deposit money INTO freebitco.in? How could you possibly have made an account using that address (which would have not been known to you before making the account)Huh ?

If you notice now that the deposit and the withdrawal address are indeed the same it probably means that the website is being hacked again (or if you believe the freebitcoin PR, your computer is compromised: it has a virus). Tell me, does that address start with a 1, a 3, or something else?

At this point, I suggest you enable the auto withdrawal and wait until Sunday. This will send you the money to your original, true profile address, not the hacked one.

well about that I registered like ages ago and it would use an email adress and give you a btc adress which is your wallet ID as well (and used for deposits)

I never changed that cause i was happy and stored some peanuts there, which grew obviously.

Hi,

I'm interested in what a s1 original Coin would be worth these days....?

To be honest it think a Mint State grade would be reached hardly, but at least AU - I kept it with a few other coins in a bag for years.

...compared to say u.s. dollar bills which you can hold in your hand or stuff in your mattress.

this is why bitcoins will not go mainstream because majority of human beings on this planet do not have access to a computer.

successful gold standards are things like toyota trucks, ak-47's, u.s. c-notes which thrive in places like afghanistan and africa.

But did you think about the world changing to globalization. I don't want to state it is going to be better with it, but for sure computers are getting more accessable. Even in poorer countries it gets inevitable to owna smart phone, on which you can do cryptos!

Re: BTC transaction fees is going down.

Due to lower transaction fees (see here history chart: https://bitcoinfees.info/ ) it becomes more lucrative to pay smaller ammounts in btc.
So bitcoin itself becomes more lucrative to noninvestors, however this can only be good, or am I missing a point?

Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money
by

The only reason the government want to regulate the cryptocurrency is to enable them to collect tax and take control of all the crypto currencies so that the rich will continue to be rich.

Jeah plus maybe telling the voters they did a good thing to offer their freedom for security..

No one knows, and no one can be sure what price it's going to end up. Though I've read a lot of so called "experts" that are predicting $25,000 at the end of 2018. I have no comment on that. It could be $50,000 it could be $5,000.
Yeah, all we can do is hope for a steady increasement...

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:

" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"

I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.

first of all, John Oliver is great! Secondly he is right, indeed every currency, for example fiat money is only worth what people perceive it to be. This means there is the consens that a bill(which is just paper) is worth to get your grocerys because the vendor trusts in the piece of paper is keeping its worth..

Re: Bitcoin Price Prediction 2018: Will Bitcoin Crash or Rise?
by
Mr.Dick
on 31/05/2018, 15:10:19 UTC

1. At the point when there is awful news distributed about Bitcoin, there are significantly a bigger number of individuals offering Bitcoin than purchasing Bitcoin. These individuals offer their Bitcoin at lower costs than the present value so they can offer it quick. This makes the value drop.

2. At the point when there is uplifting news about Bitcoin, there are a larger number of individuals purchasing Bitcoin than there are individuals offering it. These individuals purchase Bitcoin at higher costs than the present qualities with the goal that they can get it rapidly. This makes the value rise.

do you agree with this? what are your insights?

These are reasonabkle and logical points nobody can turn down, but I guess its not that simpel, ther isnt't just these two types of transactions in bitcoin, the system is far more complicated. For example you forgot about daytraders and people using btc as valid payment method. Not speaking about the so called whales if they are trying to influence markets or not...

Bitcoin is old, outdated, slow and uses too much energy. The price will soon be brought down to a level where miners will abandon it. Prices will continue to be kept lower due to CME futures.

Yeah, or bitcoin is great in a way inspiring people to create more effecient miners/ which means devellopment in computers or may cause better research in renewable energy to avoid energywaisting...
