I tried that already.

When I read about the token swap earlier, I simply set an alert in my calendar for my vacation week in October, which is now. When I received the alert today, I went to the post on the goodomy site to learn how to do the swap and I saw the dates all changed. Then I went to the reddit goodomy to figure out what was going on and I saw that it's switched to private and not viewable anymore. Hence my post in here.

Your website ticket system doesn't seem to be working either. I went to open a ticket before posting here. I tried to register and it says I'm registered already. I tried to reset my password and then it says I'm not registered. It's like an endless loop. After posting here I tried to create a ticket again and the same loop kept happening. I did however send in a contact note using the popup window on the ticket system (the email icon at the bottom), which popped up a form and that seemed to go through. I don't know if it actually went through or not though.

I'm sure there are other people wondering the same thing, especially if they can't see the reddit notices or open a ticket.

There's no email or contact other than the ticket system on the site.

What is going on with this token swap?

I just went to goodomy to attempt to swap tokens and I see some random post about goodomy moving the deadline for exchanging from Dec to Sep? If that is true, that's ridiculous. Why on earth would you move a deadline up without a  notice, especially considering you post random updates about goodomy many months apart, don't keep a list for updates and expect people to just pick up on a change like that?

I've been following this project from basically the start and got involved in it early. I've sat patiently waiting for development to progress with little to no updates for a year now.. and now this?! WTF - You didn't even update this thread with any notice of this deadline change, hence why I didn't receive it.

Is this project dead?

I was talking to a couple of people this past weekend about Goodomy and it was a tough sell. Nobody really understood the retail mining, the benefits of it all and they said it was too complex for consumers to "get." (as in understand) These are just average Joe's so to speak. They don't know anything about crypto btw.

Some common responses/questions I heard:

"So what is it, shopping points?"
"Is it like gift cards?"
"Is it a shoppers club?"
"What stores have it?"
"Do I have to use my phone to buy things?"

And when I say "dumbed down," I mean it really has to be so simple a child could understand it all in about 2 minutes. People today have the attention span of a gnat.

Kosmost, when you get a chance, here's something for you to look over as a possible feature integration into the Goodomy app.

Have a look at the "save search" and notification system that is available on www.reverb.com  - It basically gives you the ability to save searches and have notifications sent to you when a vendor adds a product you are interested in.

This is a fantastic feature and I have scored some rare gear directly as a result of this feature. For example, I was looking for a certain piece of gear for about 10 years with no luck, but within about 3 months obtained it from a store on reverb thanks to one of my saved searches with notifications turned on. I was notified instantly when it was available.

This would be a powerful feature in the app if it allowed notifications when a certain item has been made available through a Goodomy retailer/seller. I'm not talking about email notifications, I'm talking about the app push notifications feature.

On reverb, create an account, confirm it and perform a search for something like Marshall Amp, add it to your watch list and save the search. You'll see a pop window offering to add it to your "daily" feed.

It's because it was mentioned in Palm Beach Newsletter... nothing more.

This is what so many crypto platforms don't get. They are focused on crypto investors and the crypto market.  This is a big world and brick and mortar retail as well as mobile users are gigantic markets.  Glad you are focusing on the big picture and staying away from the crypto craze.

The Monero site is easy to read and easy to navigate. The only negative I see there is the "fiverr" cartoonish icons in the video. IMO, that cheesy cheap looking stuff should be avoided.
