Last news are very good.
It is good that GEO was added to new market.
I looked Bisq here
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bisq/And can't find there Ubiq and its tokens in their list.
Also whole Bisq have a daily volume less than 1 BTC...
What about adding Geo to new big markets? Or it will remain forever Bittrex coin?
Also nice to hear that you one step closer to release app. Thanks for great job!
You can find mention of GeoCoin as well as Ubiq, Qwark and 10grans listed under the Assets section of their latest release:
https://github.com/bisq-network/bisq-desktop/releasesI updated the exchanges list at the very bottom of our info website
http://geo.money to include all 5 choices so far. What other exchanges do you guys think we should aim for?
I don't really think we are in huge need of new exchange, bittrex is a great exchange and fact we are on it is incredible, hope it stays that way despite low volume. If I was to list something it would be great to go on Binance or Einstein exchange, with the latter there are some connections through Ubiq founders if I'm not mistaken.
Imo all Geo needs now is consistance in development and time. Maybe when we are closer to the release prepare a statement with anticipate release date and key features of the project, post on SM and send it out to news outlets such as coindesk, cointelegraph, cryptonews etc. With plenty of use cases, unique features and potentially some marketing materials it should be interesting and easy for a journalist to prepare interesting story/news. Meanwhile stay positive and don't pay too much attention to markets, our time will come.
I also think that it's very good that Geo is on Bittrex.
I was primarily interested in plans for the distribution of projects in the crypto stock markets.
In my opinion, Geo has everything perfect from the point of view of development and there is a great potential in the digital product market(mobile marketplaces and etc).
However, do not forget that unlike ordinary projects, each project based on blockchain has another area of influence - it is the stock crypto market.
Expansion of the project on exchange sites is a very important process, which should not be stopped because the success of a currency depends on the number of people who own it, in fact Peter Rs research suggests that historical marketcap of Bitcoin follows Metcalfe's law(
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metcalfe%27s_law).
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=572106.0, i.e. it is proportional to the square of the number of active users.
Thats why it is better if GeoCoins will be in the hands of as many people as possible.
If we look at
https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/volume/24-hour/ we see Binance is the biggest exchange ever. But now it is almost unreal to be listed there, because only now they listing projects which sent application requests half of year ago, and they make voting on projects.
But we have chances to be listed in Upbit, because Ubiq listed there. And also Upbit according to coinmarketcap in top10 exchanges(Bittrex out of top20). It is a huge big market with real potential, and if Geo will consider it now then it will have chance to be listed there at least in 2019.
