Ethereum+: A Peer-to-Peer Digital Asset System

Abstract. The Ethereum+ network is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. A zero compromise blockchain with the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture and the Turing Complete programming of Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) architectures. This is a breakthrough smart contracting and digital asset system based on SHA512 proof-of-work, designed for extreme throughput and scale.

What is Ethereum+?

Ethereum+ is a revolutionary network designed to solve the problems with all existing blockchains in terms of scale, parallelism and Turing Complete programming. Ethereum+ is a peer-to-peer digital asset system that enables direct exchange of value without going through a central party. Similarly to Bitcoin, the Ethereum+ network requires minimal structure, and timestamps transactions into an ongoing hash-based chain of proof-of-work (SHA512/256). We introduce two novel breakthrough techniques to validate digital assets: unique references and a general purpose induction proof system both of which operate in constant O(1) time and space. It is possible to compose outputs in any manner, without compromising the inherent parallelism and performance characteristics of an unspent transaction output (UTXO) based architecture. Therefore, users can leave and rejoin the Ethereum+ network at will and be assured of the integrity and authenticity of their digital assets.

Zero Compromise Open-source Blockchain: Hybrid Account + UTXO Smart Contracts

The world's first breakthrough hybrid Account + UTXO based architecture engineered for massive layer one (L1) on-chain scaling and Turing Complete smart contracts.Ethereum+ offers the benefits of a UTXO blockchain along with the advanced capabilities of EVM compatible blockchains, but with none of the downsies.

"I had to write all the code before I could convince myself that I could solve every problem, then I wrote the paper. I think I will be able to release the code sooner than I could write a detailed spec." - Satoshi Nakamoto

In the same spirit of Satoshi Nakamoto's launch of Bitcoin, we released a fully operational and software development stack on Day 1, before even writing the White Paper. We wanted to be convinced that the revolutionary and breakthrough system worked before writing about it. No waiting, no limitations, just a scalable blockchain node and toolkit to build your dreams today.

I know that and that was I was trying to explain to the first guy commenting about it, telling him that it doesn’t update until the block is found,  I said it would be like 20 expected when we hit the next block and then the Vblob said I was wrong and that it would be 13.6 expected, after that I corrected myself self saying that I just realized that it was only 4 days but seemed like forever. After that the Vblob started insulting me with his correct calculations,...  and he was still wrong! It isn’t 13.6 it is 13.78! But close enough!  I just might hire that boy to calculate my profits for me, I’m even willing to pay double of what his s5 dusts out!  Lmao!  Cheesy

Yeah, I was replying to him, I know you know what's going on.

At this moment the expected number is mor like 20 and only 11 found! Which is’t good At ALL!
Wrong, at this moment if we hit a block we'll have 12 and expected would be 13.6  Roll Eyes
Hardly a chicken little panic situation. Wink

You realize that those stats only update when a block is found right? The expected is much higher than 12 right now.
Care to try again? Don't question that which you don't understand, better to remain silent and be thought a fool than to speak and remove all doubt. Cheesy
To the rest I say mine on!  Cool

Uhhhhh, did you not notice that the number jumped up after we found a block?  Those numbers only update on each block.  Not sure what you aren't getting here.

And they still push 7.7 TH reliably, at about 1200W at the wall, 240V circuit. I don't necessarily recommend that second setting as Canaan targets the chips to 90C, but it works well for me...
I am curious if you know how to change the targeted temp for the S9's (I think it is the July batch - hardware    16.8.1.3, logic S9_V2.30).  My garage is getting cold here in Wisconsin and does not seem to be cranking up the hash to increase the temp.  The boards are running around 60c now and in the summer it was around 80.  I know there is a cgi-bin/minerAdvanced.cgi hidden menu (currently at 550.00M) but it says it will be taken off line for 3 hours if I change it...  Does anyone have experience with this?

The amount of downtime when you change the processor frequency is the same time it takes when you change pools.  It basically just does a reset, definitely doesn't take 3 hours.

I can guarantee that we hit this luck streak because I switched back over to Kano last Wednesday.  After which Slush hit what seemed like 5000 blocks.

I am always curious about new things.

I would like to ask specifically:
How you plan to counter hopping?

I quote a statement from a respected community member:
Quote
2) Prop - but then all the long term miners get paid less for their shares than the smart hoppers, so no one in their right mind would mine at a Prop pool.
Full thread here so you may see entire context: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=893133.msg11113709#msg11113709

Hopping yes this can be an issue, what I am coding the front end to do along with the forked stratum-mining thanks to Slush0 is have a banning system, if it sees certain addresses stopping and starting, or a miner only coming in and certain intervals it will ban them for a set time.
Of course, I am open to suggestions of what the pool would be better using than prop.

I think Kano runs one of the best pools around. IF I was going to start a pool, I would model it after a proven system that works. Just my 2 satoshi.

Yeah, one of the best pools if you don't like finding blocks.

There are several threads already here talking about this in depth. Use SEARCH because the last thing we need is yet *another* thread about the same thing. I for one will not repeat what I've already said about it.
Search using: Immersion or oil or liquid.

Any tips on running Antminers in mineral oil?
by
NeuralChris
on 27/10/2017, 19:37:35 UTC
Hey guys,

I'm looking to cut the noise of my antminers way down by running them in mineral oil.  I've purchased a large radiator, 4 140mm Noctua fans, a super quiet pump, etc.  My plan is throw everything into a Rubbermade container, fill up enough mineral oil to cover up the miners, maybe have their power supplies above them on some kind of rack and then mount the radiator on the top of the lid with the fans blowing away.

Let me know if there are anything else that should be kept in mind.

Thanks!

Yeah, a reset was a bad idea. Next time just change the pool configs instead of blanking the whole setup.

It's tuned to run 550MHz with a quiet fan setting but the factory reset took it back to 700MHz on auto fan. Running voltage is a hardware-level setting on the boards themselves though, so that's not hosed up. Just set it back to 550MHz and fan around 30% and I bet it'll level out.

Awesome, thanks!  Yeah the problem was it wasn't connecting to the network at all, so I couldn't get into the UI to set the pools or anything.

I set it to 550MHz w/ 33% fan and it's humming away at 3.7TH/s with temps in the 60s, SOOOO much quieter now! Cheesy

Yeah I think the reset brought it back to normal S7 specs (needed to reset because it wouldn't connect to the network).  It was set at 700mhz and the fan speed isn't overridden (I was wondering why it wasn't very quiet  Cheesy)

I knocked it down to 450mhz and haven't touched the fan setting yet, it's running much cooler in the 49-52 range now, but only hashing at about 3 TH/s

Yeah I'm wondering if the reset I had to do is messing with things cause it's running really hot (and frankly a bit faster than the 3.7 TH/s)  Do I need to tweak the settings after a reset?

I bought a quiet S7 from Sidehack, but there were only 7 power cables with it.  Does it only take 2 per board?  I'm worried about setting it up improperly and damaging it.  Undecided
