Add me to the list of Slush defectors as well.   Sad

I didn't want to........I just had to.

I've only ever mined in Slush and Discus.  95% of all my mining has been in Slush, but I've always measured it's daily success against Discus' fixed rate.

Back in the 12PH-16PH days, Slush could beat Discus with 4-5 blocks a day.  In the 36PH-40PH range, it takes 11-12 blocks to beat the Fish......and there are many days we can't seem to hit that mark.  I agree with the earlier poster who said we'd probably fare just as good if we were back in the 12-16PH range.

Any Hoo, I keep checking in to see what's going on in the old Slush Pool.   I wish the statistics were more accurate.  Slush's way of calculation luck seems very odd and not linked to reality.

Looks like the OLD website is no longer available.

While the new site is great, I really grew accustomed to the old "statistics" page.

Anyone else out there missing the old site?Huh

WTF is wrong w/ the pool?! where are the blocks, its been almost 24hrs.....!!! grrrrrrr =(

Piece off here too. This week we are about 140000 Million shares far away from 100% luck

This seems like more than bad luck.

3 blocks in 3 days and only 1 7-block in the past week.

10 hour blocks are becoming the norm.

Has something changed?

The one good thing that came out of our recent 40+hour block is that it shook out a lot of the weak hands!   PHs in the 13's makes the payouts all that much nicer!!!   Grin

SLUSH is reporting they won 322930 & 322947, but BLOCKCHAIN is reporting that 322930 went to BTC Guild and 322947 went to AntPool.

What's going on?  Huh

Is the Duggar Family running this pool?

We should change the name to "18 Hours and Counting"     Grin

@Nikethemutt

When you get the miner in the mail, open up, check cables/connectors inside the miner and TIGHTEN UP ALL SCREWS ON THE HEATSINKS(They loosen up in shipping and don't transfer heat properly so after a few hours you get a demished hash rate if you don't do this). Put cover back on and start mining 24/7. You should do this with any miner before you plug it in. I work offshore for 28+ days at a time and it's all good. I would let run for 24 hours and check before you leave for your trip.(Check for stable hash rate and make sure psu cables/plugs are not getting too hot.

Thanks for the information!  Greatly appreciated!

Hmm, I have 8 S3 and they run like naked ladies in North Dakota all day long.
I forget about them sometimes. Once a week or so I reboot them for good measure.

Your statement is a perfect segue into a question I have!

I will be getting my first S3 any day now and I was wondering how long you let them run uninterrupted?   I'm going to be going on vacation for 7 days in the near future.  Is it safe to let it run while I'm away that long or should I only let it run when I'm around to babysit the unit?

Thanks!

Hello Everyone!  I'm a newbie here, I've been mining for about a week and a half, and I've got to say it's been a BLAST!   Wish I'd found this sooner!   Slush Pool it my first and only pool so far!   Yesterday was great, today not so.  But I guess that's the rollercoaster we're all on.

Anyway, looking forward to learning and having fun!
