Re: OrangeWebsite.com anonymous webhosting discussion and feedback
by

www.BestHostFree.com plans appear better to me. One can start hosting absolutely free and later can upgrade to paid plans, which is an advantage IMO.

Not trying to argue here, but with all honesty, I wouldn't trust BestHostFree. The reason is that their phone number is used in tons of other hosting companies as well, just search their phone number on Google.

Sure, you could had a good experience with them, I'm not questioning that. But we're basically making a comparison between a fully registered company (OrangeWebsite) and a unknown company with a phone number that's used in tons of other hosting companies as well.

If someone is looking to host a hobby website, they would probably signup to BestHostFree because it's free to get started. If someone is going to host a business-level website, they very likely would be looking at Orange Website as it's a properly registered & established company.

P.S.: I'm not a client of BestHostFree nor OrangeWebsite.

I m holding my self from writing a book of good words to them

wtf ! even tho there is a huge numbers of faucets hosted in their service

Let us clarify that the bitcoin faucet is considered to be a kind of the bitcoin mining, since it is the way of gaining a cryptocurrency

Don't give up, send them something like this:

Quote
I would like this case to be passed to a supervisor as I'm not in violation of the AUP. It seems you're blindly following an AUP without dominating the concept of "Bitcoin mining". You refuse to understand the difference between a Bitcoin Faucet (which is a website where I *donate* cents of Bitcoin to new users) and Bitcoin Mining. Since donating is forbidden? Please let me talk with a supervisor or someone that actually understands what Bitcoin Mining is, at all.

I would recommend you moving your hosting somewhere else, but keep fighting. Seriously, I want to see their reaction Grin

I'm not a Namecheap customer

"A Bitcoin Faucet is nowhere near a kind of Bitcoin mining at all. A faucet donates small amounts of Bitcoins to newcomers. I'm not in violation of the AUP because I'm not doing anything related to bitcoin mining." If they persist ask them to pass to someone who actually understands Bitcoin. I would literally say that.

I took a look at the "Terms of Service" and the "Acceptable Use Policy" posted on the namecheap website, and I don't see anything that would prohibit faucets or bitcoin mining.

Did they provide you with an attachment in the email with evidence that the activity is prohibited?

Perhaps, take the word "faucet" off your website and let them know that you've changed the site.  Tell them it is no longer a "faucet", and that now it is just a simple "pay-per-click" advertising site?
Bitcoin mining ("bitcoin miners") is forbidden by the AUP, I also took a while to see where Bitcoin was referenced:
https://www.namecheap.com/legal/hosting/aup.aspx

I would not follow the approach of saying it's not a "faucet" anymore, Namecheap is the one that has to end with their bullshit Smiley

Re: Dice game roll hi and lo what is it and when to use?

Usually when you play at dice games a random number is generated. Let's suppose the website generates a number from 1 to 100 and you're playing with 50% win chance.

Generated number: 34

If you bet "high", you will win the bet if the generated number is above 50. If you bet "low", you will win the bet if the generated number is under 50.

So in this case, you would win the bet if you choose "low", because the generated number is less than 50.

Nope you are wrong on this. In gambling game there is no 50% chance of winning because there is always houseedege which means if you do 2x multiplier with 1% house edge you will bet 50.5 for high and 49.5 for low. This is what i know, so it doesnt mean 2 times thar next one you will win because sometimes you will get the number between 49.5 and 50.5

You're right, I forgot to say "house edge not included" Grin
Though with 1% house edge it should be 49/51 instead of 49.5/50.5 (that's 0.5% house edge).

I prefer the SMF version of BitcoinTalk, and most old Bitcoiners grew used to it. The current beta has too much white for my eyes Tongue

By the way, I think you should change your topic title to like "What do you think of the new BitcoinTalk forum?", "ateM" doesn't really make sense, at least for me Smiley

Oh god, the price of bitcoin keep decreasing. It's really scary dude, i think bitcoin will crashing soon, i will sell all my bitcoins if the price can't go up in the next 1-2 hours.

We're still 18 days away from the halving, so the price might go up again. I don't bother about crashes anymore, I hold at every crash since 2014.

E o OKCoin funciona bem em Portugal?

Estás a pensar fazer transferências bancárias (depósito/levantamento)? Eu pessoalmente uso a Kraken Smiley
