Part of the issue getting listed may be the name. Educoin wasn't uniquely named. There's currently an active EducoinV running Scrypt algo that Yobit has listed.
Coingather isn't going to list it without 2500 votes, i'd recommend digging into your dev pockets and covering that. At this point it's likely your cheapest option.

- I have tickes open with nova & Coingather hoping we an get credit for what we did there.
- Yobit was a premium listing.We did pay them. I have a ticket open with them regarding this, at least tell me WHY it wasnt accepted.
- We are working with a few professors right now in the US and UK on implementation into their curriculum.
- The pools are still tricky. We have multiple pool operaters who are working alongside our team to try and either make our own pool, join forces with theirs.

1. Run Wallet until it is fully sync'd
2. Change .bat '-a hsr' to '-a keccak'
2. Run .bat
3. Read what ccminer tells you.
3.a. If ccminer closes, the .bat file has an error.
3.b. Add 'pause' as another line in your .bat and run again to view errors.

So far we have submitted to YoBit, Nova, C-Cex, Coingather.
YoBit has still not listed- Awaiting response from them.
Nova basically doubled their price AFTER we had successfully funded everything and is giving us the runaround.
C-Cex is still waiting on more votes
Coingather is still waiting on more votes.
I will look into the exchange suggestions right now.

coinexchange.io as mentioned is good, I don't know listing fees for them.
stocks.exchange is where smartcash got it's legs up before moving on to cryptopia.
right now, this coin needs an exchange more than anything.

already noted those "spammers cryptopia squad" is jumping thru many altcoins threads, slack or discord chat rooms, etc.... telling: "lets list this coin on cryptopia... great exchange, let donate funds to list this coin on cryptopia, etc... " - so they just trying get BTC from community or dev. teams. - hope no one is so stupid to pay them so much.

My comment wasn't directly about Cryptopia. I use it for one altcoin and don't really have a 'preference' other than exchanges should have volume and every coin I've used cryptoptia for, it was the top exchange for the coin at the time. I have membership in a half dozen exchanges, so who really cares about that. I'm a miner. I mine. If your coin is worthless, miners leave.
The actual POINT I was making is that DEVS are responsible for listing THEIR coins. You want it to be successful or a shitcoin? Shitcoins are listed by miners who want to pull out of your network.
I really don't care what your opinion on any specific exchange is. Nor does your 'anti cryptopia' rant mean jack more than the cryptopia spammers. Don't see an alternative exchange listed, only that you don't like cryptoptia so everyone else should hate it too.

I'm still mining from time to time. I find it strange how the total hash goes up and down all day, as if a powerful mining rig is going offline every so many blocks then coming back on.
I believe they are trying to find a solution to not being able to have mining pools, so an exchange at this time is probably the last thing that's needed. Gotta sort out the basics first.
They're probably missing founder's reward. Most pool software requires modification to run keccak. Pool or not, the coin is valueless right now yet people such as (apparently) us are paying for it. Mining isn't free and my second rig doesn't pull enough to cover the first.
I like the idea of this coin as education is rather important to me, but mining is a business and I'm running out of encouragement to keep dumping into this coin.
Exchange is the basics, pools come second. People could be valuing and trading the coin WHILE the pool issues are being worked out instead of just costing us more and more.
Reach out to smartcash or maxcoin.
Also, reach out to some universities and get Educoin as a project. Give it meaning.

You're using the wrong port on your miner bat file.
Change the 127.0.0.1:17389 to 127.0.0.1:17388.
Just for clarification is your miner connecting or is your terminal spitting out any error? Or are you just not finding blocks?
If the blocks are updating and you're seeing nethash updates, you're connected and mining.
You DO have an issue though, in your mining .bat, change "-k keccak" to "-a keccak" and you'll go from "auto" algorithm to keccak and mine a lot faster.
The rest of it is correct and appears to be working.
BTW, if you're using AMD cards I've found intensity 9 to be best with keccak.

You do not need listen, daemon, or port.

I will spend more time on it but I can't get it to pick up my .wallet file so it just keeps starting up with your IDR wallet ID.
Can open from inside and then will default to yours, but, I cannot get it to accept mining connections and the debug window is disabled for some reason.

just do a release build, not a debug build. the non-debug versions (missing the "d" in the end) are included in the vcruntime for vs2015, they should already be on modern windows systems.
Recompiling now, sorry for the delay.
Any update on the fix? Still pulling debug build. (btw the redist you added to package are for the standard versions)

There is the daemon included in the package that states it includes the RPC server, but it presents the same 'rpc unavailable' error.

I've had times when I was more than 50% of the displayed netweight, This example included.
If I'm 50% of the weight, how am I being outweighed? I'm not expecting to have millions roll in, but the display indicates that I should have seen 'something' by now.
With a displayed expectedtime of 233, there's no way that's accurate. Not with (now) 15 hours running and not a single hit.
Are there more nodes that need added or something? What am I missing here?

Still nothing from the POS side.
What is necessary to make the staking take effect? My 'weight' was displaying 25% of the network this morning and not a single transaction from staking.
Hit 10 blocks overnight and have 26 peers, green check, green arrow. All funds in 'spendable', cannot figure out how to move to 'Stake' or what step is missing.
Moved to account0 to check, no change.
Really would like to see a good hybrid coin..
