No doubt GPUs have the advantage, even one 1080 has way more hashpower than most CPUs, not to mention you can have bunch of them in one rig, while multi-processor systems are only on high end servers. Although Webchain officially don't support GPU mining and altered the algo to even the level, community are doing it anyway.
There are many algorithms in which even relatively inexpensive CPUs show significantly better results than GPUs.
In 1.6.2 on cn-v7 algo intensity higher 100 not give jumps and drops in hashrate like it was on 1.6.1. But speed is low on v7... I tried 54,56,72,90,108,116 but all these intensities gives max 985 h/s on my RX 580 8Gb cards. On 1.6.0 I have 1030-1040 h/s... Maybe I do something wrong? I tried to wait up to 10 min every try. But speed didn't jumps like in heavy algo. It pretty stable. Couse of it I didn't wait any longer. Who got speed higher 1000 h/s on v7 with 1.6.2? Share your settings, please...
Same issue: 1.6.0 gets 1080 h/s on RX 588, but 1.6.2 - only 1025 h/s with same config.

Re: [XMR] JCE Miner Cryptonight/forks, now with GPU!
any hints why Ryzen starts with 180hs per Thread and drop to 130hs after some minutes (CNV7 lite)
and yes..got many duplicates at no nicehash pool
I have same issue. R7 1700x starts with 2200+ h/s and after few minutes h/r drops to 1700 h/s. Also all system GPU slow down h/r too . XMR-Stak (with similar settings for CPU) gets ~ 2140 h/s, but all works great. P.S. Tested on two different motherboards (B350 and X470 chipsets) with two different instances of the processor.
Finally I bought coins for the masternode. It remains only to buy the VPS. I hope in the long-term perspective that my investments will pay off, because the project looks promising. How many coins are paid from the masternode per month?
Ok, I think I was right. We're at the final texts. I see massive sale on CRDS, where the amounts are not rounded. This means everybody tries to get rid of his credits. Unfortunately my mining is stopped at all. No good coins at the moment. CRDS was the best for the last 2 months. While this is the beginning of the end of CRDS, now what follows is reduced difficulty. But with reduced turnover if it's profitable to mine at the moment (current price), it won't be to sale after 1 or 2 weeks. In near future it's possible to see no buy orders. Still I suspect this buy orders with too, too low price and high amounts are placed by the creators for a try to save the coin and the trust. Generally we'll see. But investing in any way at the moment is highly risky. But let's put it - "High risk - high reward, low risk - low reward".
That's why the rebrand would be good option for preventing such confusion.
Well, let's say we've made a rebrand. A week later (conditionally) a coin with the same (already new) name appeared. What then? Rebrand again? I believe that we only need a good marketing campaign.
Hi waht is the ROI for masternode at the current price?
You always can get info about current price and ROI in Discord channel by typing command for bot: !mnroi 1 And you will receive an answer with detailed information like this:
Code:

In general, CryptoNight-Light (AEON) is much more productive for mining on CPU than CryptoNight
