I suddenly find myself wondering how much redstone it would take to make a minecraft miner...
I wondered how much time it would take to even compute one hash, given that the fastest Minecraft ALU that has been seen was something like 0.1 hz.

http://games.slashdot.org/story/12/05/23/217204/minecraft-mod-adds-emulated-6502-processor
Tempted to make a miner in 6502 for my c64/minecraft...
With a simple API, it wouldn't be too hard to pool mine and have getworks. Although, getworks would probably be at 1 every 10 minutes.
Might be better to setup a MineChain? Grin

Haha, that's an inside joke on my robotics team that nobody here will get. Cool
The inside joke that goes on between my friends is "Green is bilge."
So, I don't ever use green wire when I personally do anything unless it's what we would call as "always-on."

Aww Giga... your miners spawned little mining babies <3.  So cute!  But hey, those babies are expensive too, haha.
Cheaper than real babies...

MtGox is where most of the numbers are coming from for USD.
Bitstamp is also good for big numbers, but it moves slower.

How can I tell if its running?
Open a second session, type: ./bitcoind getconnectioncount

This will let you know if it's working, let you know if you're connected and to how many people.

If you haven't already restarted bitcoind after adding an rpc password, you may want to do that first.

Just tested the site out, didn't see any issues.
BTC showed up instantly on the site.

I noticed on the site that after I chose a square, a Bitcoin icon showed up above the 3 BTC at the top-left. Does that add something to the pot, or is it meant to be for our account?

Steam Games for Bitcoins?
by
NothinG
on 09/11/2013, 19:26:33 UTC
As some of the members from almost a year ago remember, I used to sell steam games for Bitcoins on a website. The reason I had to stop was because I started getting more Bitcoins than I could make from my job. Well, thanks to Moneypak...I can now fund my account within only a few hours (as long as the MP<>BTC traders are online).

So, I ask the community once again: Should I sell Steam games for BTC again?

Price: American Steam(USD) + 7% fee
