The thing is I'm not certain it's specifically a MultiBit bug... It happened after I lost my internet connexion during synchronisation with the network.
Plus you have to register at github to report an issue...
Like I said, the damage is not very serious. It's just that it would be good to know what to do to prevent this sort of thing from happening...
I did have a backup, but since it's two days old, it's only relevant to the wallets I didn't touch since...
Is it OK if I send you the log files in a PM here instead of github?

Something happened yesterday to one of my wallets... After freezing, MultiBit wouldn't quit, so i forced it to quit... It's like Crtl Alt Sup on windows I guess.
And then when I relaunching it, one of my wallet wouldn't open. MultiBit says "Error 1"...
The file is still there, but it's unusable.
It's not that bad, since that wallet was almost empty, but I'd like to know a way around this, in case it happens to a "real" wallet...

Actually, I really think that putting bitcoin behind Tor should be a "recommended practice" as using different addresses for each transaction, and that allowing the bitcoin protocol to exchange, recognize and publish hidden services should be a development of high priority.
People should not be exposing all their transaction history so easily...
I guess many people are running the bitcoin client through Tor, those don't show up.

I'm sorry, but how do you run a BTC client behind Tor? My Tor installation comes with a bundled browser, and from what I gather the only communications being scrambled are the ones the Tor browser makes... Am I wrong?

Par ailleurs, il me semble c'est précisément parce que c'est un instrument "aveugle" qu'il a de fortes chances d'avoir un pouvoir égalisateur donc...
Ce n'est pas tout à fait une monnaie comme une autre... Je crois qu'à terme il y a, dans sa conception même, des caractéristiques qui se révèleront être anti-ploutocratiques...

I get your point, when you say that easier stuff implies less possibilities, but eventually (even if it's in three or five years), I believe this will have to come down to icons and buttons...
That is if you guys want it to have a wide social/political impact, and I'm sure you do!

I guess offline storage for the 'bulk' of your stuff, and online wallets for day-to-day operations would be a reasonable way of going about this...
Yeah Bitcoin is somewhat unique in that you don't need access to the wallet in order to receive money. So pretty easy to setup an online wallet (I would still recommend something like blockchain.info or strongcoin where the operator doesn't have the keys) for day to day stuff and then setup your offline wallet address in the addressbook and "sweep" excess funds there.
