Spiking Team,

I'm curious how the public purchase of SPIKE will be implemented?

I understand SPIKE tokens are required to gain access to the platform and all fee's will be paid in SPIKE, this makes sense.

I'm wondering how followers will acquire SPIKE? will they be able to purchase SPIKE on the platform itself or will they have to go to an exchange to purchase the SPIKE tokens and then transfer them to the platform to use?

Looking forward to this product, it's going to help the crypto community a lot as a whole.

Extremely ambitious and exciting product Spiking Team!

The part potential investors should be most excited about is that Spiking already has a functioning and successful platform in the traditional Stock market and they are simply shifting that product into the cryptocurrency market. If they were able to attract whales in the traditional stock market, i'm sure they will have no issue attracting whales in the cryptocurrency markets. Added to watch list, thanks team!

No need for that here, Jarvis will need your wallet address when you do your posts but that is it.

I caution you to read the messages before posting and check the suggested thread. If it appears spammy, report the message. If the thread is crap, report the thread. Some folks have loaded Jarvis' database with crap messages causing many members to get their posts auto-deleted by bitcointalk and they do not receive MTC when that happens.

Phase 1 originally intended to distribute to 20,000 users.

The method of distribution was far too taxing on the community volunteers who had to spend all of their free time making the ICO happen. It was inefficient, so that phase ended.

The project creator devised a way to utilize the AI protocol that maintains the network to run the ICO instead. This is when phase 2 started. It allows for a lot more participating members than the previous model.

The Marinecoin network is being maintained by the AI protocol Jarvis (created by @bruce_wayne). The mtc wallet can be easily run on a low power chip like raspberry pi's for instance. Many IoT projects already use raspberry pi's to connect their devices to the internet. I have not personally messed around with it yet, but other community members have. It's easy to integrate the MTC wallet with the IoT device to enable machine to machine payments among IoT devices...could be something like a smart fridge recognizing it is out of milk and ordering milk from the store automatically for you.

Why does your website require registration in order to read the whitepaper? Current exchange rate is around 0.01 DOGE, right?

The order book is extremely thin on both sides, low volume trading right now. Don't really expect the volume to pick up too much while in ICO. Currently to protect the coin in ICO phase, your MTC exchange deposit address will not open up until you have 1,000,000 MTC in your exchange wallet.

The white paper was written by the community and still needs editing. The marinecoin forum allows a place for all members to add contributions to the paper below the thread. This version isn't pretty but the information is at least centrally located finally. When i first did this two months ago i had spent a lot of time doing research about the project, now folks can just read that paper. Earlier members compiled as much information as we could into that doc, more needs added and edited, it'll be an ever evolving document.

Suggestions are welcome.

MTC can be traded now at the Formula One exchange. Built specifically to maintain liquidity in the Marinecoin ecosystem. Throughout the ICO, the MTC deposit address on the exchange will remain locked until you have an exchange wallet balance of 1,000,000 MTC from exchange purchases. As most airdropped/bounty coins are not even trad-able until ICO completion, I think having it's own exchange is a good feature and the wallet lock is simply to protect the coin while it's in ICO.

Yes, bruce_wayne was very specific that the Coin creation system built on MTC network is for creating your own Coins NOT tokens. So your coins will inherently have value from the get go.

It does seem very similar. It's certainly possible he decided to take QUASAR, add some features to it and re-launch it all packaged inside Marinecoin core. Next time i have his ear I will ask him, he's been super busy with the Jarvis driven ICO lately. I'll wait til that smooths out i guess.

The community generated white-ish paper is open for public community edit suggestions, it's not your traditional white paper as it was written by community members gathering the necessary information from discussions with the MTC project creator. It explains a lot about the project and will answer most peoples burning questions. It's a great document for new members to help them write seed messages for the Jarvis AI fair distribution ICO:

Most of them are probably scam but for sure some of them have potential. You can also participate in airdrops, so you can "invest" without risking your money. I participated in the Marinecoin Airdrop a few weeks ago and I got 450000 MTC which is now worth about 50 Bucks. Their Airdrop is still going on but they changed it a bit. You can now claim 20000 MTC every day as long as there are MTC left.I am pretty sure that it will become more profitable in the nearer future since it really has potential: a dev-less, community based coin with zero fees. It is time tested, is a machine to machine system and works with artificial intelligence. Can also become great with iot, but the best reason this coin will 5x is that it aims to be near fully decentralized once the ICO is complete, distributing 98.5% of the supply in this AI enabled fair distribution method.
