The participant numbers are really low I think.

It always amazes me how on a poker client the operates worldwide even I as a player who hasn't really been active ( and only plays OMAHA games there) late still recognize 12 of the 20 people on the leaderboard.

Shows how small the player base on this site really is.  Sad

The population is super small, and super consistent I haven't played in like 5 years and still recognize most of the names.
A small, weak pool isn't necessarily a bad thing though...

Any information if there are any overlays in these tournaments?

The completed tournaments are up on the client for at least the next day, so you could have easily found this information out on your own, or looked at the previous couple of posts where SWC stated the prize pool and gtds from the completed tournaments.  Most of the tournaments have exceeded the gtd's, a few of the smaller late night ones haven't.

The top 64 players on the March Madness Series Leaderboard will qualify for The Big Dance Freeroll.

What is the payout for the top 10 on the series leaderboard?

What is the payout for the Big Dance Freeroll?

How are points calculated?

Does the 1.5x multiplier count for re-entries as long as your first entry was entered before the tournament start?

Where will we be able to see the leaderboard and how often will it be updated?

Thanks!

Selling Stake.com Plat3 account
by
ONM
on 22/11/2022, 20:39:54 UTC
I'm selling my personal Stake.com Plat3 account.  It's ~40% to plat4 which means it has around 1.5mil wagered on it.

Benefits of this account include:

Weekly bonus: Minimum of $20 with minimal play (under 1k coin in)
Monthly bonus: Minimum of $50 with minimal play, I personally have never gotten under $75 except for months where I literally gambled only weekly bonus amounts
Pre and post monthly: $30 each, seems to be no minimum play qualification
VIP Host: Grandfathered in since I hit plat3 before the changes.  I've never received a bonus/lossback so it's possible that there's one coming if you put the volume in.  I do receive reloads pretty much as frequently as I ask for them, the average seems to be around $5/day, although it's subject to volume.

I'm asking for $500 (.031BTC at current price).  You can easily recoup this in three months with very minimal play (just leave one or two weeklies on the account to spin with).  If you are an active player you'd recoup this in under two months, and freeroll the lifetime of the account.

This account has only ever been accessed using a VPN, so you can play from pretty much anywhere.  It has "passed" Lv1 verification (fake Canadian address) and has never been asked for anything further, so it's a pretty safe bet that it's not going to be touched for a long time as long as you aren't betting massive amounts.

Why am I selling?  Since stake.us opened I have no real use for my stake.com account and don't have the patience to spin a few spins a day and claim $20-30 bonus' once or twice a week.  If you have the patience to just collect them and cash them out and not punt them off like me, it's a win-win situation.

Escrow mandatory, must be a trusted BCT escrow and you pay the fees.  For the host, I will attempt to pass them over to your telegram name, but if that doesn't work/you aren't interested, I'll make myself available to you via PMs for at least a year and will ask for reloads/lossbacks/bonus' on your behalf.

Re: *price drop* Sega genesis 3, two remotes and 15 games
by

Just the game values alone is 150$
Look it up.
And yes offer is already at 150$ so why would I take 50$ less?

You are misinterpreting "value" and "worth".

Here's an example: Mortal Kombat GEN is listed as "worth" $6.38 on pricecharting for the loose cart.  But you can't find a single copy that's actually been sold recently.  In fact, you can find copies that aren't selling for $1: https://www.ebay.com/i/253276313381?rt=nc&_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20160908110712%26meid%3D9a04ea782dbd466cbdbbcdd8f01953a0%26pid%3D100677%26rk%3D9%26rkt%3D30%26sd%3D123143318477%26itm%3D253276313381

So that $6.38 price doesn't mean anything because you can't realistically realize that value.  And it has zero trade value because there are very very very few people who:

A. HAVE a Genesis

B. WANT MK1

C. Don't already own it

D. Want a loose copy instead of buying a CIB copy for a couple of dollars more

E. Select you to buy it from instead of all of the other people who are offering it for less

Make no mistake, I'm not trying to haggle with you.  I have no interest in this lot as all but one game would be redundant in my collection and virtually all of it is worthless from a trade/sale perspective.  I'm giving you some perspective and letting you know that if you actually have an offer for $150 for the lot, you should be running to take it.

Everything in this lot together is 'worth' around $130-140.  When you consider that anyone who is interested in game collecting already has a vast majority of these games, and nobody is looking to trade for them (games like Sonic 2, MK, SF2, NFL), I'd be SHOCKED if you get more than $75 for the lot.  If someone offers you $100 you should jump at the offer.

I'm not interested in this lot, but as a video game collector, I think that your price is way too high.  For a 001 GBA and three working games the FMV is $45.  And "TAZ" isn't a game.  I'm not sure if you meant "Tarzan", "Tak 2", or a Game Boy game called Taz-mania.

Something very strange is going on.

Last week Betcoin announced they were selling their company.  Cool.  The price of bitcoin is going crazy right now and maybe the owners are trying to cash out.  I'm fine with that.

The problem is, Betcoin still has some pretty massive debts that need to be reconciled.

For example: the poker bonus chips.  What is happening to these?  With poker not being offered after today, there is no way to clear our bonus'.

Also, the XiaoXiao stolen rakeback.  We were told that Betcoin was taking over the repayment of that...yet I haven't seen a single chip of it.  Who is supposed to be paying back everyone who was stolen from now?  I see that XiaoXiao is back to having an affiliate account, will he be paying back the people he stole from?

The disturbing thing is that I asked the above questions to Betcoin support, and my ticket was closed with no response.  These are valid concerns that they are ignoring.  Whoever is buying the site should be aware that there is significant liabilities that need to be reconciled before going forward.  If they don't pay their debt before blowing town, those debts are then assumed by you.

I'm also concerned about the Bad Beat Jackpot.  I have over 50,000 status points on Betcoin, that means I've contributed over 10,000 chips to rake lifetime on the site.  That's over 10 coins or nearly $150,000 in rake I've paid.  I'm pretty sure some of that has found it's way to the BBJ, I'd be pretty upset if that fund doesn't get resolved properly.

A word of warning, a withdraw of mine hasn't been processed for 48 hours now.  It's never taken longer than 8 in the past, and usually it's processed within 2-4 hours.  Support has said it'll be "a few hours" for the last day and a half.  What's most disturbing is that it's marked as "processed" in the client.

If you search for the deposit address you gave SWC on blockchain.info, do you see the transaction with zero confirmations or is it not even there?

No, they haven't sent it.  They've admitted in emails that they haven't sent it.  For the past day and a half their responses to me have been "Oh, it'll be sent in a few hours".

Your price is WAY too high.  Most of those games are borderline worthless, $5-10 on pricecharting for CiB (although realistically the going price is far less since nobody is actually collecting them), and a Galaxy is $200 new.  If you sold everything individually on Ebay you'd get max $1,000 and you'd waste a ton of time and get about 20% of the sales eaten in fees.  If someone offers you .1BTC you should JUMP at the offer.  Personally I wouldn't give anything higher than .05BTC, contingent on the system actually being new.

Hey ONM

Ad "any games that do run seem to be populated by employees of the site" :

Bit-Exo has no employees. Site has two owners who have their real lifes - same as any of us and therefore can't be on the site 24/7.
Moderators on this site are not employess and are not paid in any way. Therefore you were actually refunded by one of the site player just like you.
It is because we have a strong and close community and Staxxd wanted to ease your situation and help you out with the accidental issue that was not caused by us.

All I know is the only two people, besides me, who were willing to pony up any money to play poker on the site had tags of "mod" and "admin".  So clearly they are associated with the site in some capacity.  That gives off an odd appearance.

A close community is great, but as a poker player I don't care.  All I care about is an honest game that's easy to get decent volume in on.  I can't speak to the former, but from first impressions it seems like the latter isn't happening on B-E.  It's great that people have lives, but when you're running a poker site your first priority should probably be that somebody is around to fix issues that arise.  If you don't...you get a ghost town.

Here's a report on my experience with the Bit-Exo spin variant today.

Cliffs: Big fail

I had some free time so I wanted to check it out as I enjoy spin n gos and particularly like the provably fair aspect of the B-E set up.  I registered for a handful of spins and the smallest one eventually filled after ~30 minutes.  Come to find out that the two other participants were a mod and an admin.  After we got three people in...nothing happened.  They contacted someone that they knew who I guess is another admin and informed him of the issue.  I'm not really sure as that person wasn't in the public chat box.  After ~15 min the funds were refunded and the person who I assume they were speaking to (An admin named "J_Roc"...they kept calling the person "J" so seems like the same guy) told us that the problem was fixed and we should try a 100 bit spin to make sure it was working.  Seeing both other people enter, I figured what the hell since I was trying to get larger games going and wanted to make sure they would spawn.

Nope.

Again the game didn't spin or populate.  It's been nearly an hour and a half since that happened and there's been no refund or contact.  I asked after coming back if there was an eta and was told that "J is at ikea, not sure when he'll be home".  Lovely.  Obviously the quarter is only relevant because after seeing the condition of the poker room I'm trying to withdraw and there's a 600 bit fee.  So I guess you guys can keep that.  It's a shame because the poker room has potential but between the zero people playing real money games and the spin not working when we actually get 3 people who want to spend money, I don't really see myself giving this another shot.

Sorry you had a bad experience. The issues have been fixed and you were sent double your original buy-in, usually slot
& go is a fun & smooth running game but occasionally there are glitches. The admin made some changes today that should prevent the server from getting bogged down and hopefully this will no longer be any issue. I really hope you will give it another try.

I appreciate the sentiment, but I neither asked for nor am I interested in a handout.  As I mentioned, I was looking for a prompt refund of the money from the failed spin because I was cashing out and with a 600 bit processing fee, 100 (or, now, 200) bits sitting in my account is worse than useless.  And since nobody could give me an answer aside from telling me that some guy may or may not be at Ikea, I figured a quarter wasn't worth the mental energy anymore.  So you guys can go ahead and take that back.

As far as giving it another try...why lie, I really doubt that's going to happen.  The poker room is so dead and any games that do run seem to be populated by employees of the site, and are quite small.  That's kind of a bad look and doesn't really hold any interest to me.  It's a good idea, and I'm sure everyone working at Bit-Exo is very intelligent and nice but the poker room seems to have missed the mark.

It's been ~ 2 months now and I still haven't gotten paid.  Xiaoxiao is ignoring my messages and emails and Betcoin support is refusing to compensate me since I'm not going to rake additional money to get paid rakeback that's due to me.  Pretty sad situation and I'm starting to wonder if what people are saying about the site are true.

Sorry man, there are just too many red flags.  You can't put in a $1 lithium batter and you need to wait 4 days to post pictures of something you claim to own?  I'm going to have to pass on this.
