Re: People might sell they're merit points.
by

So I think this merit mechanism is unfair, because it would allow those legendary or heroic users to profit from the merit mechanisms, and not to upgrade those who can not afford it.
Yeah I think its not good, maybe those who are selling their merit should banned automatically or maybe have some warning. Buying merit is not good, merit should need to work hard before you can get it. Moderators should do something about this.

Work Hard? The system is not fair. I can guarantee that we will see situations where a mediocre post could get  many merits than  long useful posts. It only favor higher ranks because they will get less competitors on bounties.

Re: [2017-12-06] Over 10,000 People Have Downloaded Fake Cryptocurrency Apps

Just seeing five apps bearing the poloniex name in the those app stores is already  very suspicious so users should have used their brains before using it instead. Just one dumb whale and they could turn one scammer to a wealthy person.

A lot of "Experts" also said that bitcoin will dump or a correction will happen after $10k but look what happen. Then here we go again, another came from nowhere dropping a statement and then bitcoin will surpass that another FUD speculation.

I think it's a wise decision for them to remove bitcoin for now because bitcoin is very unstoppable but I know that there's still a chance that it's just temporary and they are waiting for bitcoin to stabilized. Bitcoin will slow down for sure when it reach $100k.

Banks are the ones that will give you consumer protection but bitcoin will not. Everything that will happen to your bitcoin is your own responsiblity and no one controls it so let me remind you again that it is decentralized at the first place.

I bet that is the best day ever for bitcoin holders there but in my country,  our government seems like it doesn't impress them at all and giving warnings instead that it's not a good investment and I'm very worried that it will cause to a complete ban on btc but I hope they don't.

Huh its really a shoking news ,now we could go to jail for using any crypto currency and its just a retard decision knowing that its comming from the same country who kept boasting about launching their first satelite and being a future proof country... anyways for anyone comming to morocco be careful ,the prisons here are already crouded .

That's a very unfortunate fate for Moroccans. I'm not really suprised after all because it it a small country and small countries often banned cryptos so this won't affect bitcoin anything at all.

It will be declared legal and only a small percentage will not accept it or ban it. It applies in anything that you can't force everyone if they don't want to but that decision is the one that they are going to regret because we are now starting to rock every nation with bitcoin.

Re: Lawyers accepting bitcoin for services
by
Oo ako to
on 06/12/2017, 03:25:11 UTC
It is definitely a good choice to accept money in bitcoin, you will get paid and you don't have to invest in any other place like stock market and all were you have to rush every now and then and get saved from aggressive buyers and sellers,
just accept the money and see it growing.

A really smart move for lawyers that have known bitcoin for long. They could insist first that they accept btc but I still doubt that their clients will do that. Their clients must be hoarding a lot of bitcoins so I guess only a few lawyer could have that payment opportunity.

I would but only for leisure like any rich people do. Gamble is for everybody and we only differ on our own reasons on why we do it. A lot of people don't approve it but it still an entertainment for others.

I think you are generalizing all Asian countries just because China banned ICOs and other exchange and trading sites. You need to study a little about geography because Japan and South Korea are dominating the btc trading in the cryptocurrency market.

I have never seen an equation or solving problem in any gambling game so that is impossible. Gambling games picks randomly so there are no patterns because if there is then math can possibly help you to win.

Bitcoin owner should always be aware about the jurisdiction of their government about using bitcoin. I must say that this news is too much for those who are arrested because maybe their government was only thinking about that it's used for money laundering and illegal drug trade.

Start with a small and don't rush like you drop a thousand for every coin that you hear everyone is talking about. Practice your trading skills with that. Some exchanges don't require a specific amount to trade but some do like bittrex that require BTC.001 per order.

Re: Bittrex Account Enhance verification
by

My name on Bittrex is different from my ID.
I hope it will not be a problem ..

Of course that will be a problem. If you register an account, and use a different name and address than how it is in reality, it will be seen as a suspicious act. If it's just a typo, then they will be helping you out for sure, but I don't think they will be too pleased to help out if you on purposely registered with faulty information. If you sign up for an account, you agree with their terms, which due to all governmental regulations have been far stricter than ever before. Unless you have a damn good story to back up your words, it will be a difficult task for both involved parties. One thing however is sure, and that's regardless of your situation, it will take quite some time for Bittrex to solve this matter.

Right. Bittrex won't entertain any of op's ticket to fix his issue. I heard someone did the same thing and now he cannot withdraw all his coins because of mismatch so next time use your real name that is exact so this won't happen again.

Ethereum can even go toe to toe with bitcoin right now so that is very ridiculous. But I'm positively sure that Ethereum will find it's own place that will become one of the most used crpytocurrency in the world in the future.

Ethereum is the most established altcoin out there in the market so it's a good choice if you want to invest in it. Some of the other altcoins are based on ethereum smart contract so it just shows how effective ethereum is in the cryptoworld.

Actually before i could withdraw from bittrex, i had to verify my email and my phone number....but that's it, at least for basic level.

Lucky for you, pal. Because for me, I made a second bittrex account so I can hold the other altcoins I bought that so will not touch it for few years that I'm expecting to boom but unfortunately these bittrex admin and staffs are using this stupid excuse to steal people's money.

Yes and right now we are heading towards implementing mainstream adoption. Just look at how healthy bitcoin is in the market that clearly reflects that people are now embracing the future money which is bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
