Re: What is the cost of your mistakes?

So, how much did your mistakes cost? Did they cause you a serious psychological blow? What were your mistakes, did you learn from these mistakes and do you apply this knowledge in practice now? Were these mistakes simply painful, dramatic or catastrophic?
I can only think of was first, is the technical error or internet error when i spin, and accidentally click the spin button instead change icon of the bet which take all my balance in one spin and yes it came in a lost bet so, that's unfortunate.

Re: Does covering user withdrawal fees work better for casinos?
by
PX-Z
on 24/07/2025, 23:11:05 UTC
When it comes to withdrawals, casinos have two types of business model:

1. Pay user's withdrawal fees out of their own pocket
2. User pays fixed withdrawal fee
Free transactions will always be the number one choice and most preferred by users, who wouldn't like something free, after all? Whether the fee is equal to or even lower than the current recommended network fee, users will still choose the one covered by the casino.

On the other hand, fixed fees are more convenient for casinos from a technical perspective, as it simplifies the coding and integration compared to dynamic fee calculations. But let's be honest, it's also a way for them to earn extra profit.

Re: Local operators push against total ban on gambling

[/quote]
Bawal naman kase mag promote ng casino unless you are permitted to do so.
Yung iba naman parang okay na yung accounts nag warning lang siguro and then pass the message na unlawful yung ginawa nila, second attempt will be jail time.
I guess since a short video clip lang din naman pinapakita nila and not totally promoting the casino baka ganun, at hindi gambling related mga content nila pero, idk

Re: How can you enjoy the game when you are losing?

Many users claim that they play for fun. At the same time, they do not hide the fact that all the money is lost one way or another, quickly or slowly. If you are losing money, then how can you enjoy it?
I wonder too. That's why when i lost for more streak i stopped and will continue later. There's no fun for lossing even though the thrill and fun is there while doing it (spinning, rolling dice, watching sports bets, etc). But after you lose

Re: Have you been addicted to gambling in the past.
by
PX-Z
on 21/07/2025, 23:46:29 UTC
Was addicted early in my senior high school days, I am always playing cards with my friends. We have to hide every time from basement to basement until the summer ends and we have to go resume school after. Every weekends I have to go to my friends house to ask whether they are interested and when I learn they moved on. Nothing else I can do but move on as well. Nothing serious to that addiction, another addiction takes over it.
That's really young. Personally, I never got into gambling addiction or even  on early signs, even though I was surrounded by people who were, older folks, acquaintances, even friends that into gambling, usually cards and local games with 3 coins (hantak). We had billiard halls where card games were also played, but I never participated.

I’ve witnessed a gambling den get raided, and even saw an illegal carnival and cockfighting arena get shut down by local police. It was amusing to watch at the time, but when you realize how some people still gamble in secret despite the high risk of getting arrested, it really makes you think, is it worth the risk?

Re: Would you allow your underage kid to use your detail for KYC after a big win.
by

on 21/07/2025, 23:26:29 UTC
...so if a child who is below 18 years has been gambling without the knowledge of the parent and he or she happensto win an amount which requires advanced KYC to be passed, ...

As a parent to the child, can you allow the child to use your details to pass KYC verification, if asked? And if you do that, does it also mean that you are supporting underage gambling?
If my child were honest enough to ask for that reason, I might agree, depending on the amount. But that would have to be their last bet, and they would need to withdraw using my personal info. After that, I'd probably ask for the account to be closed or forgotten entirely.

Earlier this year, I successfully helped my partner stop gambling after recognizing early signs of addiction, like staying up late just to play, continuing during meals, being secretive about losses but proudly sharing big wins, and so on. I definitely wouldn't want my child to fall into the same pattern.

I am thinking of selling to then buy back.
I am reluctant to do that, to be honest, before asking knowledgeable people about whether there still be Bitcoin waiting to be bought by me in next correction?
That's a difficult decision to be made, and take courage to do that. Btc price now is at its peak at least few thousands from its new ATH 120k, i will keep holding until a huge drop before buying if that's me.

Re: Yet Another Scam Attempt, Impersonating Users on Telegram
by

Not just on Telegram, even in real life, if someone asks me to lend them X amount, it's an automatic no. Whether it’s a legit request from a close friend, family member, or especially from a distant friend or stranger, I always decline. I've been scammed before, so I’ve learned my lesson, no more lending money to anyone, lol.

Any P2P platform or exchange that supports privacy is always welcome in this space. Just curious, why did you choose to build the project on Stacker News instead of launching it on your own domain? I’m actually new to Stacker News myself.

Also, just a heads-up, please avoid using link shorteners, as it goes against the forum rules.

...I know that BTT is the most active space for crypto trades/deals because of forum popularity + other forum features enabling fast and reliable deals.
I don't think this forum currency exchange (board) deals are comparable to any crypto P2P platforms in terms of number of transactions to become most active fro crypto deals.

Too suspicious to be exact.
Unless the personality is known to this kind of thing, possible pa may maikayat, pero with due diligence and proper research if totoo nga, like researching sa google ang keyword na "celebrity_name and crypto project" lalabas yan some articles if totoo.

Betpanda doesn’t request kyc from player's that they dont suspect of any wrong doing, or have not reached the set withdrawal limit for none kyc accounts..
More like they being suspicious of the user's activity, from playing small to mid amounts, then become huge and then winning straight, plus huge withdrawals. Actually, it's almost the same pattern for all of the reputable casino. That's why it's weird for some that KYC is being asked uoon registration.

The thing is, wala silang board of officials or whatever they call it na possible focus sa crypto market or specifically sa bitcoin. Kahir yung maharlika investment corp ay walang interest sa Bitcoin where they have all the means since bago palang na gawa ang corp na ito under PH gov.

Hindi naman siguro bobo yung board ng GSIS na basta-basta nalang mag invest or wala man lang cut loss.
Just like dun sa na replayan ko above, possible itong theory, parang obvious na bobo moves kase ginawa nila, kaka gigil Hahah Mabuti sana kung personal na pera nila yun, parang walang alam sa market yung nag decision na yun eh, alam ko may board yan for decision na voting walang isang tao na masusunod lang to act the investment eh.

Re: Why are you taking profit on bitcoin?
by
PX-Z
on 20/07/2025, 23:35:46 UTC
4. lastly Buying Altcoins are not diversification means so do not take profit from bitcoin to buy Altcoins.
Why not? Example on XRP, if you have it even just october last year or on the last 9 months, you are now 5x or 6x richer, compare if you have bitcoin in the same month, you earn x2 as well. Having ALTs doesn't mean you are abandoning or betraying bitcoin, its diversification.
If you have both coins last year or the month mentioned, it means you have at at least x8 profit instead of x2 only.

Re: Which non KYC exchanges are the most user friendly?
by

on 20/07/2025, 23:08:38 UTC
uniswap and trezor wallet exchange have no kyc when ive used them
Trezor wallet uses their party exchanges for that exchange function e.g. Changelly, ChangeNow, Shapeshift, and coinswitch and trust me, they will request for KYC at any time they want
Yes, KYC requirements on these instant exchanges usually asked when the value reaches on KYC limit required amount per transaction. So maybe @roemer only exchange smaller amount but it's proper to say they don't ask KYC because as per above mentioned, they can ask for it anytime.

Yeah, I heard there are good earning opportunities in the forum, so adding that to the knowledge embedded in here wouldn't be a bad idea right?
That's right but its not instant so you have to build your account (knowledge and posting habit) in a way that it's capable of earning due to its rank, and it takes time and effort to do so with the current system. So better to familiar with the forum rules first

Re: How to delete my bitcointalk account?

Is it because you were recently red tagged as a scammer?  Grin

Lol you cannot delete your account. Just abandon it, forget about the pass and never look back. Also your account is worthless at this point, so I don't see any reasons to go through all these shits. Lastly you may use the secret question self banning method to make sure nobody else can access your account once you are gone for good.
Probably, but upon looking to its username it sounds like a name irl. I searched it only and i'm correct, many results from different socmed sites. It's a common name in India too. And yeah, it's a shame

Upon checking OP profile, it's email was already changed, i guess he is on the process of forgetting its account profile lol.

Re: If you had infinite money, would you still gamble?
by

...most people that are rich gamble to increase what they have while others just gamble because they feel like they have enough money to spare...
I guess its the other way around. Rich people who gamble just for fun, most of them have connection from the managements or owners that was invited to that place to play for entertainment and fun, only few of then got addicted, and rarely go there because most rich people knows how gamble works and have discipline when it comes to money. Although there are few who got just taste of being rich without having solid principles and discipline got hooked on gambling.

While the poor to high income got the higher chance of getting hooked on gambling, i remember one of an engineer with lots of projects earning him millions got addictive casino slots and got bankrupt in a sense that he also use the money of some of its latest project hoping it will be doubled

Sana nga ang GSIS sa Bitcoin nalang nila iniinvest pera nila which is proven and tested na merong price hike and possible will always create an all-time high.
I doubt, kung sa pag invest da Digiplus ay nagkamali sila, how much more in Bitcoin na masyadong volatile baka, sa new ATH din sila mag buy then bigla mag bear season.

I have one regular practice, and that is to always hand out my kyc documents for verifications immediately after my account creations..
That is good practice for someone who gamble regularly on such platform, that's why you have to chose and make research first before providing them your KYC info because there are lots of casinos here already. Descent casinos marketing's offer free spins from contests here, competition from multiplier, price prediction, etc. which needs registration when you win or to participate. If you keep that practice without any kind of conditions and etc. you will end up providing your info to lots if casinos. Some of us here don't bother to provide their info, as it's like just a couple of requirements and docs to any casinos out there.
