Selling your bitcoin at the right price and still you can gain profit is not a stupid decision. Acquiring your btc at a higher price and you plan to sell this time where price is still low, that is where I can say a stupid decision. The best thing to do for now is just to hold your bitcoin even if it take a longer period of time to recover then do it. This is the only option for now to avoid bigger loss from your investment.
Yes if a person buy bitcoin at a price and then he sell them on a price which is lower than his buy price then it is not good and will be considered as a stupid action by many of us. The price of bitcoin increases to its higher price in life and that is not rejected by any of the user of bitcoin then if you do not need money for your use then do not sell them and wait for the better time to sell.I think the SEC announcement of take care of market was not to care of whales but they decided to check on the exchanges to see if that is the manipulation from buying and selling or the exchanges are playing some game. The whales are manipulating the price too but I do not think that they can seize them but only we can stop them if we will stop to sell to them then they will be tired and will then rise the market.
Selling your bitcoins is a matter of choice you can decide to sell it when and how ever you want,it's your choice,so what ever decision one makes concerning buying or selling of bitcoin is up to them.
But if they are here for getting the profit then we have to guide them if they do not know that what is the time to buy and what is the time to sell as if they will not follow the rules and they will not know then they will spread negative news that there is lose in bitcoin. If we will guide them then they will be fan of bitcoin and will promote it more and the price will increase.It's a matter of risk, rather than being late on buying, as long as there are other people using bitcoin, it's never to late to buy one.
When I joined bitcoin the price of it was under $400 and at that time I felt that I am late to buy some bitcoin and there was many early adopters who were very happy with their investment. But now I think that I was also in the early stage as now the price of it increased much higher. Actually now I learned that when bitcoin is not adopted as a global currency we are in the early stage so we have to buy it now no matter at how much price we get it as in the future the price will be more higher. No I do not think that bitcoin is a bubble in the human history. I am thinking bitcoin as a currency and for the investors it is an asset and because of them the price of it is increasing and decreasing and it happens in any asset when the traders start to trade with that asset so we have not to worry about the price of bitcoin. It will go up and down and in the long term it will go upward.
Selling bitcoin would only be wise when you really need money. Having bitcoin is having a good kind of asset, there is no like bitcoin that can appreciate in value at an instant. As long as you can keep your bitcoin at any cost, it is the wisest thing to do. Prefer to hold tha to spend it, in no time.you will see the fruit of your waiting and investment.
Yes waiting for a longer time and not to sell our coins is a good idea but if someone will need for any emergency then they can. There are many people who also sell their coins when they feel that now they will not see the price rising again, actually they do not know about the coming future of bitcoin and they do not know that the adoption of bitcoin is increasing more faster and the price will also increase like that.

With due RESPECT, Muslim celebration is no relation on the Bitcoin price, please read the indicators why Bitcoin price goes up and goes down, you posted question is a bit sensitive one to post on this treed. Remember Market is Volatile, anything can happened at any given time, market react base on the Volume of investment put in by numbers of investors in the trading market and had NO RELATION on this Celebration even if we consider that they use Bitcoin to buy gift or what ever it is just a fraction of the market cap.in trading market would be posted.

As per my knowledge, Some investors invest in bitcoin when the price reach to 20,000$ but now price is hardly more than 10000$.

At that peak they invested because it was sure that the price will continue to increase and it was about to happen when some countries started their regulation and because of the fear of some investors they withdraw their money while some are waiting, and now they are investing more because those who sold now know that the price will go rise in the long term so they are buying and waiting for long time and others who already in bitcoin are buying more because they are the stronger supporters of bitcoin and they know that buying now is more beneficial. Should they loose their money?

The value of tether remain stable with the value of dollar that is why it is not profitable to do trade in tether but people often keep their money in tether if they feel all the coins are dropping but now as Bittrex has added US dollar to the bitcoin trade so people can shift their money to there but I also not suggest that as the market after drop suddenly start to recover and we know after the price rise and at that time if we will buy then we will lose some value in bitcoin. If bitcoin will hit $6000 then it will probably end up with $5800 or $5900 ethereum can hit $400 but that does not matter there will be bounce for me.
Normally cryptocurrencies price should not be correlated to each other but most of the time, it just follows the bitcoin price, and I agree with you if BTC will drop under $6000, ethereum price will drop under $400 unfortunately.
