Re: Miner resets to mine for bitmain
by

Hi,

this seems to me as a factory reset of the unit.

check out all your settings

add your 3 pools (might be the same)

if machine continues to reset itself to factory defaults,
you might have an hardware issue

My little hobby rig cannot find a coin to mine thats profitable. Even with $0.06kWh electricity Im losing money from this point on.

Hi @philipma1957 ,

miners do secure blockchains,
it does not matter what device is used.

The value of a coin does not come out of "how" it is mined.

Use case and adoption gives value.

Cheesy PanneKopp

You are missing the point, he is not talking about value of a coin.  He is talking about keeping gpu mining alive, and yes miners secure the blockchain but not when asic mining is a mainly centralized venture.  Gpu miners allow for easy entry for people to mine crypto.

Yes  and what  most people do not realize is every home in the world  should have  a good pc with a good card.

I still propose this and gpu mining  becomes a slightly more complex rebate for your machine/pc.

This makes adoption   worldwide
below is a 1750 usd pc if it earns 4 dollars a day

1 year later it earned 1460

pretty good rebate  and many  can go this route  we need this it is important

Dear Phil,

if you propagate the idea,
that mining has to come back to the roots,
the way that users mine on their node the coins that they use,
then I totally agree with you !

If it is about mining as a business, the ones with lowest energy costs will stand longest (not here).

 Roll Eyes PanneKopp

P.S. miners do not deliver adoption

Hi Folks,

introducing a delay to 15-30th of march.

I am not very happy about delaying my prototype (complete system):
- 1650W Octominer ATX PSU
- 2200W 220V / 1600W 110V Octominer SERVER PSU
- Kingsand M-SATA 240GB SSD
- Micron DDR4 SO-DIMM RAM 8GB
- OCTOMINER B8PLUS 8 PCIe Slot Mining Motherboard - Intel 3855u CPU
- OCTOMINER B8PLUS 4U RACK CHASSIS with 7x Delta Fans / DHL SHIPPING INCLUDED IN PRICE
Prepaid Invoice 16750, paid with Bitcoin Cash (BCH) [TX-ID on request]

What about the fastest CPU testing ?
... any news on that ?

Yours, PanneKopp (hanging out in your Chat)

I hope they do a testing with Intel® Core™ i7-8650U Processor very soon,

Re: Mining Bitcoin Cash
by

Hi @adamantasaurus ,

if you are mining ETH and  other coins, I guess you are using GPUs for it,
which are not profitable for bitcoin mining.

If you have a bitcoin (SHA256) asic, like e.g. an Antminer S3/S5/S7/S9
you can point it to a Bitcoin Cash (BCC/BCH) mining pool,
e.g. at bitcoin.com or viabtc.com

I guess we will see more Bitcoin Cash pools in the near future,
as the difficulty adjusts in about 3 days.

You should also have a Bitcoin Cash wallet (or a bitcoin.abc node),
because it´s a little unsafe to mine into an exchange wallet.

Re: Nicehash Scrypt Mining HORRIBLE PAYOUT for Antminer L3+
by

Hi @azzzif

NICEHASH FAIL

I can´t confirm this.

Even though the returns drop from day to day and always vary a little,
I always get more then + 0.01 every 24h.

My L3+ is downclocked to 375Mhz (488MH/s) ~ 760W from Wall.

You get lower fees, if you mine to a nicehash account and transfer only every few weeks from there.

Don´t forget  to set xnsub on, this way   URL: stratum+tcp://scrypt.eu.nicehash.com:3333#xnsub

I sold some pascal accounts few month back on PASA marketplace: https://www.pascwallet.com/. The volume went down since and  it seems not a lot of people are buying from www.pascwallet.com

I don't know if you are right and what your point is. But if you are right the reason may be that users now have more places to buy PASA than before.
1. In the wallet,
2, at https://pascwallet.com ,
3. at https://getpasa.com , and
4. at http://buypasa.madsen-taastrup.dk/

Pascwallet has been running for 4 months now. 1800+ PASA sold to 450+ users. Not to bad if you ask me.

https://www.pascwallet.com/Market/MarketHistory

450 new users in 2 months don´t look very exciting.

Hi,

@PascalCoin

Or I can sell my pascalcoin?

You know a better exchanges than poloniex?

and

This piece is dead, more volume cryptopia will remove it! Strange!

And why is it no longer classified in coingeko?

Mouai I sell my 2700 pascal!

If you have a Fidor-Bank Account, make an offer in EUR,
eventually I will buy them (PASC) up.

Hurry up all you Trolls and sell your opportunity for the future as fast as you can.

Wait until november, when Blockstream will deny the 2x-part of the NY-agreement.

What do you expect the miners will do, when they got fooled once again ?

P.S. your so called "step by step guide" is only another proof of missing knowledge, btw.

I have made a temporary web site where new users can buy an account for 2 Euro. In EU payments can be done as quick and cheap SEPA transfers. Outside the EU as a regular bank to bank transfer.

The link is:
http://buypasa.madsen-taastrup.dk/

Edit:
I have made two changes:
1. The price is now only 1 Euro.
2. I have also added a PayPal Donation Button payable with Visa or Master cards. Donate 1 € and I'll send a free account  Smiley

Hi @nightraven,

this is very nice, I sent you 2 EUR to give it a try.

This is nice comment as usual most of the people sure that baby bro has no future. I also just back up all of my private keys to get some free coins but I wont take action so quickly like. I think better strategy is that wait and see what miners decide about the future of this clone.

... we will see in November, when Blockstream and the USAF-Trolls will deny the 2x ( 2MB Blocks) part of bip91

It is always good to be prepared.
