I am a newbie (Beginner) in this forum...
Surprisingly Roll Eyes, anytime I mention newbie, I get attacked on this forum like Newbies are scums and shouldn't be here in the first place....

Nobody attacked you for being a newbie, you started this topic and bragged about yourself:

That's simple, you claim to be a graduate at BCU, I assume that's Birmingham, but at the same time you provide no proof and to be honest you don't speak like one either.

Then we have the story of  you rambling about your 7 digits income...

I don't understand your issue with forum members regarding treatment. Could you provide a quote that makes you feel attacked?
looking through the threads he created, there are some posts coming from forum members that are not "welcoming" or feel like a "rude" response to the post he made(which I don't think it is). that's probably why he felt like he was being attacked by forum members.

Then we have the story of  you rambling about your 7 digits income...

that's an interesting find, I wonder what the OP has to say about this.

If I may describe myself, I will say I am the most honest man on Earth.... I can't lie about anything when I have nothing to gain.....

The simple truth is that I made the initial post before my promotion in my work place.... I can't expose where I work or what I do.... My Promotion came with lots of goodies and my Salary is now above $300 and money I get monthly from my new position which amounts to 7 digits...... I am not someone that brags.....

I think at this point, I will just exit this forum for my sanity sake.... I have lived over 4 decades and I have never seen a forum where people's views are not treated with respect.

Make your points on people's posts constructively and with respect.
If I refuse, then why? the administrator didn't even delete or censor someone post if it contains full of harassment.

This is the post where you got many criticism, why not defend yourself in that thread instead of creating a new thread? if you not talk anything in that post, it means you agree with users who pointing out "you might be a scammer".

Calling me a Scammer or suspecting that I am a scammer because I am a newbie here is a very big accusation that is hard for me to take..... Please is it possible for me to show my real name and identity to you here? If it's not against the rules then I can drop my LinkedIn, Facebook and other Social media link here so you can know that I am not a Scam but someone you should respect on a norm.

This platform is kind of becoming toxic to me.... I guess I will take my leave... Must people behave mad to earn???

I got frustrated at first from the kind of responses on my post and I took a break from the site after all I am not unemployed.... I have a seven digit paying Job I love so much...

The reason I am on this forum is passive and I also want to learn about Bitcoin as a way of investing for the future...

I later understand that commenting and attacking people 9n their posts is part of the reason some people grows here. I letter understand that the dynamics of this group is that you most post something daily and what you post does have to consider what or how others may feel about what you say to them.... Everybody just want to have points and remain active in the forum...

I wonder if the Professionals here weren't once newbies..... And if really anyone is truly a professional or expert here or we are here to also learn from each other about #Bitcointalk.

Nobody is an expert in life and on this forum.... The last time I asked, I was told that an a professional or an expert is someone who has learned less and less about more and more until he has known everything about nothing....

We are all here to learn and maybe earn along the way...

Stop the belittling of Newbies on this forum.

Make your points on people's posts constructively and with respect.

This post looks childish to me somehow, but nevertheless coming from a newbie what more should I expect.
Yep, kind of.  It's probably more of a merit-grab attempt than anything else.

I've got no problem with people who earn money here on principle; it's just that this forum has had a long-standing problem of members in sig campaigns or bounties making posts in horrible English that are of little to no value.  It would be great if more posts were paid for in the local sections, as that would reduce the number of posts that non English speakers try to make.  I'm not knocking anyone for not knowing English well, because a lot of people here know more than one language and that's admirable--but trying to make substantial posts in a language that you're not fluent in and being incentivized to do so makes for a really bad combination.

Yeah, I agree with you in the use of English even though I didn't see the correlation between your comment and the post or maybe because I made some errors as maybe I wasn't calm to construct my words/tenses appropriately.

If only some of you know who is behind the post..... Though It may sound like bragging but the truth is that the money people make here cannot be compared to the 7 digits I make monthly...... This is also to drive the point that my point wasn't made to attract any merit rather I made the post after having some chats with some young lads I know very well who are making a living individually through this platform.....

One of those lads introduced me to this platform which I feel may help me kill boredom when abroad.

Thanks.

When I read the title of this post I felt so ashame... (reason best known to be) maybe a Nigerian can relate.

Yes, the forum have helped alot in different ways but the concept of this post is really sad. If you wish to do something good you don't have to force it brother. You can even remain silent and learn than write what will end up making you sound like you don't know anything. I don't know who is behind that username but try to read alot it will help you in or outside this forum.

If you feel like your alone bro your not I have experience such too. My first thread here in the forum was a bit nonsensical though it contained some information but I was ignorant that such thing has been in place before hand.
I stayed almost a whole year trying to figure out what exactly makes sense to write about in the forum and you can so too. Just take your time & learn and ask good questions before you publish.
I hope you learn from my experience, don't feel bullied or embarrassed everyone here is trying to put you in the right direction.

Mind you it's a global forum and we have a local board that this kind of thread would be more understandable in the sense that it captioned Nigeria only.

Thanks so much for your comment... My post may not go well with you even though it hits on reality of things in our present state, it's undisputed that some person's have left internet crimes and focus on making legit money through this platform, however, I understand you very well, from a patriotic point of view as it involves spiling out reality even though it sounds like exposing a whole Country.

Learning is a continuous process... With all my degrees, I am still learning especially on this platform as it has to so with something totally out of my scope of knowledge.

Thanks ones again.

This has helped in reducing unemployment and in turn boasting the Nigerian economy with Wealth Creation through the betcointalk platform.

This post looks childish to me somehow, but nevertheless coming from a newbie what more should I expect.

Yes, BitcoinTalk has provided opportunities for so many youths, not just Nigeria but countries from all over the world. It's an online forum where Individuals with interest in the crypto space has found solace and gain knowledge. It is not entirely a wealth creation platform, but a mind captivating forum for Bitcoin enthusiasts.
It might have helped a lot of struggling youths, creating for them a means to earn Bitcoins online. But I don't see how it has helped the Nigerian economy.

Truthfully platform like this has helped in reducing crime rate in many Countries around the globe by engaging mostly the young generation.
How exactly has it helped reduce crime rate mate.

This response just made me remember my very first post on this platform and the first response I got... I felt so bad but later learnt that stupid comments from people on this forum are what earn some of them merits....

Well, it may sound Childish to you but from some other comments, I am glad that people with sense still exist here.....

However, you later made some relatable points in your comment.

And as for reducing "Crime", I know of people who were involved in internet fraud in the past that are now making legit money through this platform... If this is not crime reduction to you then I really feel bad for your sense of reasoning which I think you have lost.

Thank you.

Story time...... Titled: Key to Success in Bitcoin Trading is PRS 👇👇
by
PhilixCrpt
on 31/01/2023, 11:32:42 UTC
Once upon a time, there was a young project engineer named Felix. He had always been interested in investing and trading but never found the right opportunity. One day, a friend told him about Bitcoin, a new digital currency that was growing in popularity.

Curious, Felix did some research and was amazed by the potential of Bitcoin. He decided to invest a small portion of his savings into buying some Bitcoins. Over the next few months, he monitored the price of Bitcoin and was pleased to see it steadily increase. (P - Patient)

One day, while reading the news, Felix saw that the price of Bitcoin had suddenly skyrocketed. (R - Research)

He quickly logged into his trading account and sold his Bitcoins, making a substantial profit. Excited by his success, Felix decided to invest more money into buying more Bitcoins. (S - Strategy)

However, just as quickly as the price had risen, it plummeted just as fast. Felix Strategy failed and he was left with a loss and felt overwhelmed. He decided to take a step back and do more research (R) before making any further investments.

From his experience, Felix learned the importance of caution and patience when trading Bitcoin. He realized that the market can be volatile and it's crucial to have a well thought out strategy. He continued to follow the market and make calculated investments, slowly building up his portfolio with the help of Project Management ideologies. (R - Research); (S - Strategy).

Years later, Felix had become a successful Bitcoin trader, known for his steady and successful investments. He was often sought after for advice by new bitcoin investors, his friends and cronies. He always reminded them that the key to success in Bitcoin trading was to be patient, do their research, and have a well thought out strategy.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Felix and I am happy to be a member of this platform and I expect to learn from all of you beautiful people....🥂🥂🥂

By the Way, P stands for Patient; R stands for Research and S stands for Strategy.

End of story. 😍😍😍

Thank you! 🙏🙏🙏

Look don't take offence, as a tradition in this community we usually don't take newbies very seriously about their sudden high quality starting posts, meaning around here is more of a custom to see newbies as a red flag by many measures which is not fit to discuss here.

I am personally a supporter of such activities as your's. I do apologize for a rather steeply downward approach towards you.
To further explain and not make excuses, we have been abused by newbies plagiarizing, posting malware, account farming etc, so our first reaction is rather offensive, because newbies wouldn't just appear out of nowhere before being established/ recognized and start posting constructive content. So pardon my  default reaction mode response.

Now what has happened is water under the bridge, let us start over, what do you have in mind sir? Have you looked at several projects on this same board to have any suggestions regarding their business conduct?

Are you looking to monetize your expertise here?
Do you have any working/ in progress project to show case it to us?

On another note, were you referring to me or yourself when you used the term "pedigree"? I might add I might not be a UK university graduate, but I know a few things about nobility.

I think your thoughts are faulted alread because being a newbie here may not necessarily mean one is a novice on Bitcoin...... Where I come from I know so many gurus in Bitcoin trading that do not know that a group like this exists......  The member that introduced me to this group told me about making passive income here by simply getting merits from posts made and getting increased activities by comments made.

So, as an educationist, I thought I should share my views based on my career expertise and that is what I hope to promote here...... I don't care about getting merits or money but if I get recognized from the posts I make then it's all good. I want to also learn from everyone here.

However, I will only pray for people to be more professional and respectful in their comments.

I must commend you for you for your last comment. I am humbled by the way you have spoken.

And thanks for the merit.

Cheers!

Simply put: you want to centralize bitcoin? We already have all the things you taught us in this lesson, it's just that, they are not mostly managed by a central entity, therefore we have a chaotic yet working decentralized system, however there are a few centralized sub-systems, but the core infrastructure of bitcoin system is community driven.

End of class.😉

Oh and this is my resume if you needed my certain set of expertise: give me a subject, I will create FUD. Also known as market manipulation which is a common practice in the fields of centralized sub-systems of bitcoin.

BTW, did you by any chance take a project management template from somewhere and just replaced the name "Bitcoin"?
I did not copy. I am a Project Management Expert. I studied Project Management in my Masters Degree in the United Kingdom and graduated as the best student with a sound distinction.... I am an author with Books written in over 5 languages including Chinese and French and sold in online bookshops all over the World.... By the way, I don't even understand your foolish comment as related to the subject matter.... I am sure you didn't digest what I wrote else you would have have some level of restrain in your foolishness.

I wonder why this forum is strict with people's post but not strict with comments made from mentally deranged and inferiority complex people like this fool who just made this comment like he never read or understood anything. Someone who does not know that life is a continuous learning and even if you stupidly feel you know, there are others who also need to learn like me....

And this may even be a very small untrained adult just typing rubbish here....

I am getting disgusting in this forum by people's childish comments just to degrade other people's posts and comments.

Bitcoin Project Management {Hi, Let's Learn a bit}

⭐ Merited by digaran (1)
I am a newbie here and thought I should write a bit on the area of my expertise (Project Management) in relations to improving our everyday management of Bitcoin.

Please this is just to learn from one another with sharing of educative thoughts.

One thing I noticed on this platform is that most members just making framed up stories/post for merit and some just comment to increase their activities with the target on just making money from the platform as they progress. Funny most of those funny tales actually gets merits..

Moving a little away from stories, please let us learn just a bit on managing bitcoin with this brief lesson..

Here we go.....

Relating Project Management and Bitcoin:

Project management in Bitcoin involves planning, executing, and closing projects related to the development, adoption, and integration of Bitcoin technology. This can include tasks such as:

1. Developing and testing new software updates to the Bitcoin network.

2. Launching marketing campaigns to increase adoption.
Integrating Bitcoin payment options into existing systems.

3. Conducting research and development to improve scalability and security.

4. Coordinating with stakeholders and partners to drive the development and adoption of the technology.

Note: Key skills for Bitcoin project management include technical knowledge of the technology, leadership, project management methodologies, communication, and risk management.

Hmmm.... Please, Permit me to go a bit further on the subject by redefining Project Management as related to Bitcoin with further explanations:

However before we move further, let's first understand who a Project Manager is: "A Project Manager is a person responsible for planning, leading, organizing, and motivating a team to achieve specific goals and meet project requirements and deadlines."

Thus, so long as you are responsible for planning, leading and organizing your day or Bitcoin activities, then you are a Project Manager.

Thus the need for this very unique knowledge.

So, let's continue to Project Management in Bitcoin:

Project management in Bitcoin involves overseeing various initiatives and tasks related to the development, adoption, and integration of the technology. It requires a strong understanding of Bitcoin and its underlying technology, as well as the ability to plan and execute projects effectively.

Consequently, project managers must be able to work with a variety of stakeholders, including developers, investors, users, and regulators, to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. They must also be able to anticipate and manage risk, as well as communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved.

Furthermore, what are the key aspects of Bitcoin Project Management??

The key aspects of Bitcoin project management include:

1. Defining project goals and objectives: This involves setting clear and measurable targets for the project, such as the launch of a new software update or the integration of Bitcoin payment options into a particular system.

2. Creating project plans: Project managers must develop detailed plans that outline the tasks, resources, and timeline required to complete the project. This includes determining the scope of the project, identifying dependencies, and establishing a timeline.

3. Managing resources: Project managers must ensure that the necessary resources, including human resources, technical resources, and funding, are in place to execute the project. This may involve coordinating with partners and stakeholders to secure resources or managing budgets to ensure that projects are completed within financial constraints.

4. Monitoring progress: Project managers must track the progress of the project and make adjustments as needed to ensure that it stays on track. This includes monitoring project milestones and delivering regular progress reports to stakeholders.

5. Managing risk: Project managers must anticipate and manage risk in order to minimize the impact of unexpected events or issues that may arise during the project. This may involve developing contingency plans or modifying project plans to mitigate risk.

In conclusion, effective Bitcoin project management requires a combination of technical knowledge, leadership, project management methodologies, communication skills, and risk management.

This is a full Course on it's own.

So you see that we have so much to educate ourselves and not just to comment or post for promotion and money.

Thank you for learning with me (Note: I am also learning while typing this lesson).

How to Control Bitcoin Price Volatility
by
PhilixCrpt
on 29/01/2023, 14:30:42 UTC
About an hour ago I made a post on the Volatility of Bitcoin,

Happily, we can also control the volatility,

Yes, we can control Bitcoin price volatility and make profits,

Thus, how do we do this?

We can do this by:

1. Diversifying portfolio: By investing in other cryptocurrencies, stocks, bonds, or other traditional assets, investors can reduce their exposure to the risk of Bitcoin price swings. This helps to balance their portfolio and reduce the impact of any single asset's price changes.

2. Holding for the long-term: Bitcoin is known for its price volatility in the short-term, but over a longer period of time its price tends to increase. By holding Bitcoin for the long-term, investors can benefit from this trend and potentially make a profit.

3. Trading strategies: Investors can use technical analysis, fundamental analysis, or algorithmic trading to make informed decisions on when to buy or sell Bitcoin. Technical analysis involves studying charts and trends to predict future price movements, while fundamental analysis focuses on the underlying factors that impact Bitcoin's price, such as adoption and regulation. Algorithmic trading involves using computer programs to make trades based on pre-determined rules and market data.

4. Dollar-cost averaging: This is a strategy where investors invest a set amount of money at regular intervals, regardless of the current price. Over time, this helps to average out the cost of Bitcoin and reduce the impact of price volatility.

5. Hedging: Hedging involves using options, futures, or other derivatives to protect against price swings. For example, an investor could buy a put option, which gives them the right to sell Bitcoin at a set price, to protect against a price drop. This helps to reduce the impact of price volatility on their portfolio.

Consequently, it is important to note that Bitcoin is an investment that is highly based on guesses and its price can be impacted by many factors.

Thus, investing in Bitcoin should only be done as part of a well-diversified investment portfolio.

Knowledge is power! Cheers 🥂

So much lessons to learn from your experience. In Nigeria, there are lots of people who prefers keeping money at home than taking it to bank or investing it in Bitcoin or other Crypto platforms. However, gradually, things are beginning to change and people are becoming wiser through a platform like bitcointalk that gives a global freespace for people to share views and educate each other.

The World will become a more better place for all of us soon as we continue to share and gain knowledge globally because knowledge is power.

Bitcoin Price Volatility
by
PhilixCrpt
on 29/01/2023, 13:12:43 UTC
Believe me friends, a lot of members here need some level of information on Bitcoin and not only making posts

Let us learn together on the volatility of Bitcoin as we trade:

Truthfully, Bitcoin has a high volatility rate, this implies that the price of Bitcoin can either go up or come down at anytime and this is caused by different reasons, which includes wrong investment decision, investor sentiment, swift regulatory swap, frequency in market liquidity. As a market that is not centralized with unregulated currency and wrong speculation, Bitcoin becomes highly volatile in the market space.🤑🤑🤑

The above risk is due to the fact that Bitcoin price is controlled by its demand/supply in the open market.

The question now is what are the factors causing volatility , because with these factors we can be guided, so let us break it down with explanations 👇👇👇👇

Investor sentiment: This can drive demand for Bitcoin and impact its price. 😡😡😡

Regulatory changes: Governments around the world are still figuring out how to regulate Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, which can create uncertainty and cause price fluctuations. 🤞🤞🤞

Market liquidity: Bitcoin has a relatively small market compared to traditional assets, which makes it more susceptible to price swings. 😱😱😱

Lack of intrinsic value: Unlike traditional assets, Bitcoin does not have a underlying physical asset or cash flow to back its value, making it more prone to volatility. 🟡🟡🟡

Speculation: Many people view Bitcoin as a speculative investment, which can lead to large price swings based on market sentiment. 🤑🤑🤑

However, the good news is that volatility of Bitcoin has both advantages and disadvantages. On one hand, it can lead to substantial gains for investors who buy low and sell high. On the other hand, it can also lead to large losses for those who buy high and sell low or hold for a long period of time. Additionally, the lack of regulation and stability in the market makes it a risky investment, especially for those who are new to the market. 🤟🤟🤟

In terms of its impact on the broader financial system, Bitcoin's high volatility can make it difficult for merchants to accept as a form of payment, as its value can fluctuate greatly in a short period of time. It also makes it difficult for individuals and institutions to use it as a store of value or a hedge against inflation. 📱📱📱

Despite its risks, some people see Bitcoin as a hedge against traditional financial systems and view its volatility as a necessary part of its growth and maturation as an asset. 🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑🤑

Interestingly, the volatility of Bitcoin affects the entire crypto market as a whole. When Bitcoin experiences large price swings, it can have a ripple effect on other cryptocurrencies, leading to similar volatility in the broader market. This can make it difficult for investors to make informed decisions, as they are unable to predict the direction of the market with certainty. 🧚🧚🧚🧚

Moreover, the decentralized and unregulated nature of the cryptocurrency market makes it vulnerable to manipulation and other illicit activities, such as market manipulation and money laundering. These factors can also contribute to the volatility of the market and negatively impact the credibility and stability of the entire crypto ecosystem. 😬😬😬

Furthermore, It is also worth mentioning that Bitcoin's high volatility is not just limited to its price, but also to its use case. While it was originally designed as a peer-to-peer electronic cash system, its current use is mostly as a speculative investment rather than a currency. This shift in use case can also impact its volatility, as it is influenced by different factors than those that impact a currency's value. ♥️♥️♥️

In conclusion, the high volatility of Bitcoin is a characteristic that potential investors need to be aware of and consider before investing. While it can lead to substantial gains, it also poses a significant risk. Before investing in Bitcoin or any cryptocurrency, it is important to understand the potential risks and to conduct thorough research and due diligence. 🙏🙏👏👏👏

While growing up, I had low self esteem due to my complexion. I was able to deal with mine when I got to love and not take people's opinion or word about me to heart.
I'm very proud I overcame mine.
