Hi everyone,

To preface; any opinions here do not represent Alpha Technology. For my own personal reasons it is with deep sorrow I must announce I have decided to leave this position at alpha. This bares no reflection on my opinion of this company. I am very proud of the direction it has taken and of the decisions made by senior staff here and cannot wait to see the naysayers reactions when it flourishes. I will be very honest and blunt; I am leaving because I am fed up of this position and believe it takes someone with more patience than I have unfortunately. I know it is just a vocal minority that is abusive but I feel like I am looking after children sometimes, please do not take any offense to this as I am only talking about a small number of individuals and these are simply my honest feelings that need to be said as I have no doubt there will be a frenzy of speculation and FUD as a result of this. To those people I say this, my personal decision does not affect you in any way; I am just a messenger nothing more and I am not integral to anything happening alpha. I will be around for a short while longer and I am sorry to alpha for the short notice and abrupt decision. Do not worry about all my posts being lost as this account will remain as I understand. If anyone does have any questions or concerns regarding this you are welcome to PM me aside from that all topics on this will be deleted as it is my business and mine alone. Like I said I will be around a short while longer so if I am currently helping any of you with anything please PM me ASAP so I can finish off helping you.

Well, the first positive thing (if this is not a trap) I can say about Alpha is that they:

"After much consideration we have decided those who want to wait to pay via CC/DC or want to wait for 'proof' can do so. This will not affect your place in the queue and we are pleased to tell you it will still be based on the initial payment. "

The bad is that with such an amount of claims from their customers they stil have nothing to show to calm people down. And that's status quo after so many months of development.

IMHO they should at once publish the present schedule with points that can be easily verified by customers week by week until the product is shipped.

This is irrelevant for them. They just wanted customers' money. They promised 30% shares but not with all this official stuff but more like boys in school exchange chewing gum for candy. Secret Brotherhood of Hash. Customers would get an e-mail like: Rest assured you now own 1/3001 of our company. Haven't you noticed how shocked they were that most of the people didn't give a damn about offered deal?

Anyway we're getting older and still there is no info about actual product. They have just enclosed some BS that they won't say a thing. Why? Because their partners made them to sign a non-disclosure agreement that they won't tell anyone about the co-operation (sic!). Also, by publication, they could loose the "competitive edge over their competitors". Megalomaniacs!

As shareholders, will we be given access to the Alpha's accounting records?
Under what circumstances were 10% of shares given to Leroy?  Will the 30% be from Akram's shares?

Secondly the update clearly states we will be releasing more details soon and it clearly states we are obviously not going to release information on our company until customers have decided to accept this or not.


What? You want the money of your customers first and then you will let them know the details? So how the hell they can make the conscious decision? 

Customers should ask for invoices from Global Foundries for the 1st and 2nd tapeout. If these documents exist, and only then, customers may consider to choose to go for the new deal.
Otherwise everything is built on new lies and won't end good.  There is to much selling and marketing and almost no product in Alpha's current activities. To start shipping end of September they need to have very detailed plan and report to the customers on weekly basis.

After everything their customers went trough he should be treated with a strong electric impulse for any usage of words like: soon, any day now, should, hope, suppose, believe, tomorrow, next week, on track - and my personal favourite - rest assured. Rest in peace sucker! Show anything to proof you are not lying again. Show the invoices from the foundry! Forget that future exists - it is only past and present.

Again some MLM salesman tricks. Enough of this fugazi mumbo jumbo style. Just show the current plan with dates & milestones and update on them every single week. Show the documents from foundry that you have started 2nd tapeout - that's what you should begin with to proof that you are not creating new construct on another lie. Without this no one should give you a broken penny. Did you start 2nd tapeout already Fiaz? Show us agreement with foundry when they have promised you the chips delivery.

This is the good one, they left the doors open. If power consumption will be to high they may downgrade the devices. Please remember that Innosilicon 28 nm chips use a bit more power per Mh than Alpha 40 nm chips. One could say, genius design of Alpha-T. But wait, they even couldn't pass the tape-out.  

People quarrel about this September delivery in context of T&C but what can we read there? We HOPE to deliver Q2/Q3. Not we will. We f..... HOPE. This is a joke not T&C. One could say these are words only... but hey, they played that card before. Should, hope, expect, suppose.... blah, blah, blah.

As they have shown some old pictures and data in the update I think their course is following currently. Do nothing, produce nothing. In October refund few people that are still on board and paid 100%. Keep the change from those that "didn't qualify" for the refund along the way.

Don't forget about one thing. To start shipping end of September everything must go perfect from now on. There is no room for any, even tiny problem. If they have started the new tape-out week or 2 weeks ago the chips will be produced middle of September. Until that time they have to arrange chip boards (which is bunch of colored squares right now), PSU boards, PSUs and cases. They have to prepare firmware for their controller boards. WIFI is back in the manual they referred to. And when the chips arrive all these components have to miraculously and flawlessly co-operate together to allow shipment within 2 weeks. That is not gonna happen.

Yes. I am 100% sure. It was even discussed on their forum.
