by
PiGames
on 30/01/2013, 18:23:06 UTC
Selling 25ft Xhose expandable hoses.
Product info can be found here: https://www.xhose.com/
Price is $21 US (or equivalent BTC at time of 'purchase'), shipping is included. (Compared to $26.90 directly).
Here's my auction listing if interested in the more conventional route (although I prefer BTC). http://www.ebay.com/itm/121056702942
Item is comes in a sealed plastic guard, everything is identical except no retail box. All items ship via USPS (2-3day delivery)

I've been a member here for quite a while (roughly 2 years I think) and am more then willing to use an escrow or dig up people to vouch for my trades.
I can also do bulk orders (with a discount) if you're interested.
Any questions or orders feel free to PM me

WTB BitCoins /w PayPal
by

on 27/04/2012, 13:23:36 UTC
Looking to buy about $150 of Bitcoins with Paypal.
Unfortunately I use the service for my game advertising (only option) and would like to start converting the balance to Bitcoins (slow at first).
If anyone is interested in this trade shoot me an email.

-Also, not sure if it matters but I've been a member for over a year and have done some trades in the past without issue. Can check my post history.

Hopefully this goes well

Can your pool handle this load? (220+G/hs atm).
I seem to be getting ALOT of stales (I know the difficulty is low).
~30% per miner...And my hash rate is showing about 50% of what Im actually using? How often are the stats updated and how accurate are they?

I've got 2 of these cards in my gaming rig and occassionally use them to mine.
Out of crossfire + 900mem/250 core I see 250mhashes per card (500 total) at 70c temperature.

I had a hard time syncing up my client too and I think that's what the bugfix corrected. The db for the 24k or so blocks I had was over a GB of data.
I got the new client and I'm under 100mb now.

Tldr. Blocks are huge and take a while to download. I kept mine running over night (40mbs download speed)

Ultimately it's his choice to give them back or not.
It was an error, in the receivers favor.
If I personally rec'd the coins and was asked POLITELY to return the funds bc of a script error (non intentional) I would do so in a heart beat.

I guess I'm trying to say that neither parties acted in a moral or upstanding way.
It was an interesting read though

Re: How to keep your window open during the winter?
by
PiGames
on 02/09/2011, 04:30:02 UTC
I have my computer next to the window, and I live in Michigan, so I'm looking forward to the free cooling.  What I plan on doing is opening the window ~2-3 inches, duct-taping/insulating half of that, and funnel the other half into the side of my computer.  Cut-to-fit screens are optional.

Edit: About precipitation, I'm thinking of curling the 'air duct'  into a bell-curve shape, that way if any water did find its way into the duct, it would just slide back down/out.

That's actually not a bad idea.
Although I live in south Florida so I only get about 2 months outa the year where it gets below 70 at night.
Can't wait till December >.<

Re: Where to buy domain/hosting the US govt can't seize?
by
PiGames
on 02/09/2011, 04:26:48 UTC
I know they can grab .com's, I assume .net and .org just the same.   Bodog casino had their .com snagged, they moved to .eu so I assume these are safe.  However, I am guessing you don't want to buy it from a US based domain registrar as they could be forced into revealing who owns it and into taking it down.  Can anyone recommend a registrar that I'll be reasonably safe from the US government?  And for that matter, a hosting company with inexpensive VPS servers that won't cooperate with the feds?

This is what namecoin was made for (at least the domain registration part), for now I think they just do .bit addresses but from what I have read they should be able to handle others but don't quote me on that last part :-D

Namecoins are the way to go.
Although right now theres only a small handful of technically savvy people who use/know what they are, hopefully theyll catch on. (so if your website doesnt target that audience I wouldn't put to much stock in it).
But ultimately it's a dns type pointer that a government can't cease. Although the end user needs to know about the .bit dns entry.

So are these for sale yet or do we have to wait for the website?

Also interested in buying some (the gold ones)
Will there be an 'automated' site?

Never the less. They came out really good

I'd like to see namecoin traded against a (non digital) currency.
I think it's a great idea that really needs to take off.
The other coins I think are fine behind the bitcoin (gold) standard.

yeah.

he backs his own words.
if he said he's gonna give you something, he'll give it to you.

I second this.
I've seen nothing but honesty and professionalism from Davinci
If he says he'll do/give something...he will.

Interesting Idea, but what about the tax implications?
I donate to charities annually; I like the tax credit.
I dont see anyway of doing this while donating with bitcoins...just a miner (pun) issue =)

I've popped on to dailybitcoins.org.
It's a small amount unless you get the jackpot, but you can do it every 24 hours.
And it definitely pays out.

Here's my referral if you're feeling generous http://dailybitcoins.org/?ref=1MZtsqsw5rSYr5M6zZaQvh8NJCgjfuUN89

Outside of that you could mine or trade

Every time I come on these forums there's talk about someone scamming someone.
I really hope this plays out to not be one of those cases.
Seems like anonymous currency is a double edged sword.
People think they can do whatever they want.
Time to grow up and be part of a society.

I actually thought about doing some sales with bitcoin (I've been around for a while and have a good rep as far as I can tell) but drumming up business might be hard when people 'expect' to be scammed.

-for those who sent him btc/$ I REALLY hope you're either reimbursed or Rec what you paid for.

I frequently fire up utorrent while using 2 miners in GUIminer. I haven't seen a performance issue at all.
I also use news groups and when downloading from an nzb I have to throttle it a bit but that's a whole different monster.

Newegg also has a special on some hitachi 3tb Sata hdds for $100 each. I picked up 5(limit). Hopefully I'll be set for hd space for a while. Damn bluray images EAT thru space >.<

I live in Eastern Florida and it totally dodged us. Heard it's gonna cause some mayhem north of NC though. Hopefully noone gets caught up in it.
