why does it seem like everything is either in private beta or is simply down or not working? the block explorer is down. poker login doesn't work. any ETAs on the private betas like the trading platform and exchange? it just seems like there's so many projects going on along with UNOCS...let's hope it's not vaporware.

cgminer is great and very customizable. If you search around for your graphics card model, you'll stumble across optimal settings for it. You may need to tweak a few parameters here and there to optimize your setup, but once you're dialed in, you should be good to go.

There's a purple tab named "ChatBox" to the right on the site. Click that and the chatbox will appear.

I believe that the current generation of ASICs will be further refined at smaller nm which results in more efficient mining that runs cooler. The small size of each chip would allow more to be fit on boards, resulting in even greater hash rates.
