I wouldn't be surprised if another scam platform owned by the same scammers tried to reach out to you. For example, recovery scams that promises they will get your money back. Stay safe and always be cautious out there.

As long as one practices good security habits and be cautious enough in the internet, chances are they will be safe. I personally have never been scammed in any social platforms or anywhere.

I would also recommend checking out privacy and security settings in telegram like make sure nobody would be able to add you to group chats. This would minimize annoying scammers lol.

I'm just sad that this basic feature is paywalled and can be bypassed by paying as well lol

If that's the case, what would be the use-case of points earned prior to July 15th? Is there a separate contest for the said time frame? because IMO, it doesn't sound fair to say " you are already earning points for the leaderboard" only for those points to turn dust once the actual couning begins.

Aside from what others have suggested, you could also trying disabling your browser extensions as sometimes it can break some pages especially ad-blockers. or if you have VPN, disable it.

Though binance were claiming the leak came from a third party service they used, it doesn't change the fact that thousands of KYC data are already out there—damage was already done, thus the risk. I suppose this is another thing to worry about as exchanges can share our information to third parties, thus threats could come frrom various places.

At the end of the day, we can't be too sure. Not to mention, KYC verification can draaaag a lot and be a nightmare for some if exchanges detected a suspicious activity for instance which can just be a false positive. In addition, threats could come from the outside as well—hacks and data breach for instance.

These are risks, users have to bear.

I would agree with others, best to leave it up to professionals. Every investment has its risk. I mean, at the end of the day, no can can bring up a fool proof evidence that guarantees anything. Most especially with timing stuff which is an important factor.

Instead, they turn to alternatives like in this case, I'd say off-shore casinos—those shady and not. To make things worse, reputable off-shore gamba platforms would typically ban USA, thus locals would be in an unsafe situation.

There is always a catch in deposit bonuses. Typically, it is meant to be hard to to also prevent abuse, and be more sustainable for casinos. Nothing we can do about it unless a powerful authority starts regulating them. That's why make sure to always read the bonus terms.

But not gonna lie, that deposit bonus in your example is not very attractive lol. I doubt many people would join because of it, at the very least I would not lol. And imagine if they placed a high wager requirement for it lol which I hope not.

I have a question about a hypothetical scenario.

Suppose there was nothing suspicious found during address check—I'm guessing we can request checks for receiving and sending addresses—does this mean, it's pretty much sealed that there will be no KYC requests when doing an exchange using the said address/es? or does it just lower the risk?
