For the minute, this thread is home base for the IndiaMikeZulu Christmas Bitcoin-Price-Guessing Comp -- but this year, it will run from today to November tenth -- after the U.S. election:

Mmmm shiney $77,843
Polar Bear Stacker $100,000
Barneyrubble $88500
Wiowi $60.321.48

As with anything the best future guesser might be the best past guesser.

Michael Saylor is a brilliant scammer who calculated how much he could use his company to pump bitcoin.

He has cashed out already,

https://www.cnbc.com/2024/04/19/bitcoin-bull-michael-saylor-made-370-million-from-microstrategy-sales.html

so he probably thinks it will drop soon.

He paid an average of 30k u.s. per btc, and that is also where there is a significant usd gap.

Dropping below that would ruin the long term technicals of btc too.

Alternately / most big investors are betting on continued growth in money supply / inflation, https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/M1SL so it could continue pumping until the underlying cryptography is discredited.

Re: Hezbollah exploding pagers / Was it a false fflag???

I have not seen a single evidence that suggests that. In fact I've only seen the exact opposite, meaning all available intelligence suggests that those silly boys in M.I.Whatever were already celebrating delusionally thinking Palestine is already disappeared and the Resistance is dead. It is crystal clear from their intelligence reports on Sinwar and the Resistance in general.
They were the most surprised on October 7 as well when the fantastic operation Al-Aqsa Hurricane took place with a tremendous success. This is exactly why that Indian boy Sunak was one of the first who were flown to occupied Palestine to answer to the Zionist and to assure them of London's support. This is also why British military has sustained the second most number of casualties/damage among the foreign participants in the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

The plans for operation Al-Aqsa Hurricane (Storm) started back in 2020 when Trump signed the death warrant of Israel and called it the Abraham Accords. Then on 2023 the Zionists put the last nail in their own coffin with their silly Arab-Med corridor that would have ended Gaza and Palestine.
Palestinians had no other choice but to put themselves back on the map and they did it fantastically on October 7.

Maybe some day I post some intelligence in this forum regarding this operation. For now lets just say the initial plans for Operation Al-Aqsa Hurricane in the form we saw, was locked in by the end of 2022. Wink

All countries engage in deceptions that have ends which are not immediately clear.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8FDPU-tDBU

Britain has been trying to create a global Islamic front for decades with the final goal being to create a new rival to Chinese expansion, especially in resource rich Africa.

This strategy includes ending the state of Israel in its current form, something that will be complete soon.

Unfortunately for the British, they have been making a lot of careless mistakes as this part of their plan nears fruition, and that will become more obvious to more people soon.

In this thread the moderator changed the tenor of my response by merging two separate responses to two different people then added a horizontal line to change the style of my original post.
Mr. Big added the horizontal line to separate your replies and you should be thankful to him. He could delete your post without merging it with your other post.
It's you who broke the rules. Mr. Big did his job greatly.

He added stylistic edits without mentioning that those are his edits not mine.

If you want your posts etc to be edited without your approval that is your business.

Hezbollah is lots of service groups including military, social services, medical, and other. Some of the "hezbollah" people who got blown up were doctors, ambulance drivers/medics, social welfare workers etc.
You can't make this guess just because Hezbollah is part of Lebanon. It also doesn't justify the terrorist attack that US regime carried out with the help of Zionists.

On the first day when pagers were exploding one of the early reports listed 13 deaths including one doctor and two or three children far too young to be employees of anything.

Again, the U.S. and Israeli governments are subordinate in policy and strategy to Britain due to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Eyes

A fair amount of evidence seems to point to Oct7 and certain related acts as having originated with London.

Many of us have had our posts deleted at one time or another, some without proper understanding or explanation and others with. If it is off-topic then the post probably should not have been made.

Keeping in mind making back to back posts will result in a moderator merging them sometimes along with a message about consecutive posts, that is problematic in my opinion however for you to state moderator changed the text, I cannot recall reading about that before. Post a link with the modified post along with the original unedited text too in order to verify what actually happened.

I've had many posts deleted. Once I reposted a deleted post and the moderator changed the text. Now with this username there have been no outright deletions, but a moderator combines any two posts into one then sends the message

The past post where a moderator changed text I do not have a link to, if I remember what thread I'll link.

In this thread the moderator changed the tenor of my response by merging two separate responses to two different people then added a horizontal line to change the style of my original post.

There was no reason for the moderator to make those changes except to 'prove' his authority i.e., the authority of a poodle that nips your ankles.

Re: Bitcoin Illegal Soon?
by
PrimeHunter2023

Bitcoin is unlikely to be made illegal in the US. Too many rich, powerful people are now interested in Bitcoin as an investment. Blackrock is the biggest asset manager in the world & they’re actively pushing their IBIT Spot Bitcoin ETF to clients. If Bitcoin was going to be banned they’d have done it already, it’s too late now that Bitcoin is a major investment vehicle, engrained in the legacy financial system.

Corporations like Blackrock are nourished by bureaucrats because they are willing to do whatever necessary to prop up the dollar.

After the bitcoin rug pull Blackrock loses nothing, not even credibility since unknowingly people will consider them a victim.

Who loses? Small investors whose money tends to have high velocity i.e., turn over quickly. The main thing the U.S. tries to accomplish with bond sales and other derivative tricks is to get money to flow from high velocity holders to low velocity corporations that will prevent those dollars from feeding commodity inflation.

Sorry for spam. Just a status report. Have had a node running for most of this month, still no connections with anyone sharing any blocks. I actually had a backup of the blockchain up to 2021 but it was partially corrupted, which sucks. Might still be a working copy around somewhere if I look hard. But the easiest would be if someone who has one would log on.

What is your objective?

1) To revive the chain you would need to pay somebody to update the client.

2) If you want to recoup your investment you can convert your huc to chi/xaya, except those which were on Poloniex were stolen by Poloniex.

3) If you did revive it there is still the bot problem. Mithril or somebody made bots that might get most coins.

4) If you want an up to date way to start an improved huntercoin you could look at https://xaya.io/ which was made by snaiilbrain and domob who made huntercoin.

You might attract more interest by coming up with an improved concept for a huc type coin built on Xaya, then making a new coin thread.

The general concept of AI is popular with crypto Einsteins https://numer.ai/ but so far the only AI options are a) Google's fake AI for govt/corporate scammers https://ai.google/ or b) Numerai and similar coins focused to a very narrow crypto audience.

A real AI coin, human mining that develops some sort of data, could be a major improvement over all existing crypto if it is designed so anybody can human mine it.

Sometimes a user posts consecutively and replying to each member in form of separate post then in those cases moderator give their time to merge those posts into one to avoid unnecessary extra posts. Some users, mostly newbies do such kind of consecutive posting.
Looks like the mods are being nice, merging the post when they could've just deleted it since it broke the forum rules.

32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

I usually respond to different comments from different people by using a separate post, since that is common sense.

In this case the moderator is blindly following 'rules' without understanding the point of the rule, so he or she merges posts.

Obviously the rule about consecutive posts was not meant for different responses to different people on a thread.

Re: Bitcoin Illegal Soon?
by
PrimeHunter2023

But why do you assume that Bitcoin will become illegal in the United States after the launch of the CBDC? Then who told you that the launch of the CBDC will succeed in the first place?
Let me tell you that Bitcoin is actually illegal in the general sense because it is not recognized as an official legal tender or even as an electronic payment system, so there is no need to think about it becoming illegal because it is actually not legal yet. At the same time, Bitcoin is recognized as an investment tool after the approval of the ETF.

My opinion is that the CBDC is not a cryptocurrency at all, even if it is based on the basics of blockchain technology, and that in its centralization it is no different from the money that any of us has in our bank account or on our card. At the same time, Bitcoin has very distinctive characteristics that cannot be compared to the CBDC.

Better move this topic to "Economics" board or "Bitcoin Discussion".

All of the evidence indicates that the current wave of crypto, btc etc, is intended to acclimate people to digital currency.

1) When btc started the U.S. shut down its two main competitors, including Liberty Reserve before the 2013 pump.

2) Many features of crypto are necessary in CBDCs. For example 'staking' until 'coins mature' introduces the concept of controlling monetary velocity which will be a key feature of CBDCs.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberty_Reserve

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Velocity_of_money

If the U.S. can get the market cap of crypto high enough before the rug pull, it will benefit by reducing the money supply. Market cap of $1trillion then rug pull reduces dollar money supply by $1 trillion. It's like the U.S. selling bonds it does not have to pay back. Easy way for the U.S. to reduce inflation at the expense of 'deplorables' and foreigners.

When you find yourself in a new place what's required of you is first find the rules and regulations guarding the place after that try as much as possible to adhere to the rules hence you wouldn't be complaining of your post getting deleted or merged.

Perhaps if you have some post most likely related it will for sure be merged if mods finds it convincing to merge.

Getting this message that your post has been deleted is just reminder that you should try to post constructively and act according to rules in each thread and anyone can be moderated regardless of the rank once you violate the rules you will get moderated.

Separate responses to different people should not be merged into one post unless the poster wants to do that.

I've been posting on bitcointalk for more than ten years under various usernames, and most interference by moderators is not about improving anything.

^cough^

The posts that were combined were separate responses to different people.

They should not be merged into one post, but if I had wanted to merge them I would have.

Moderators will not edit/change texts written by you, they are only going to merge your posts if you make consecutive posts, which is not allowed in the forum, stop making consecutive posts and moderators wouldn't have to merge your posts again. Then if they trash or delete your posts, then it is because it was off-topic and instead of complaining about moderators, it is better to look at your posts and improve them.

I had one deleted post that I reposted and the moderator did change the actual text. If I see it I will post a link.

So somebody feels consecutive posts allows them to alter what somebody has posted by merging posts.

Why not let moderators correct spelling and grammar? How about correcting flawed opinions?

You are either altering somebody's post or you are not.

Actually it is Britain not the U.S.
That is unlikely.

England doesn't have the capability or resources to carry out a terrorist attack of this scale. They are of course participating in the ongoing genocide in Palestine and the terrorist attacks with their American coalition, but that is just participation.

There is also overwhelming evidence that shows the US regime was behind it. From the fact that they have done this before in Iraq all the way to the USAF electronic warfare planes being present in the region and used for this terrorist attack https://www.talkimg.com/image/gM5kP
And of course the fact that the US regime pulled out some pagers days before they carried out the attack https://www.talkimg.com/image/gXQGg

The U.S., like Israel, relies on the "five eyes" intelligence infrastructure which is controlled by Britain.

This gives UK strategists tremendous power to influence every aspect of those governments.

A big part of industrialized melting pots is training people to enjoy intrusiveness by assigning people to have 'authority' in a small area.

This post will probably be deleted by moderators, but I'm curious how many people welcome a moderator changing their posts under whatever pretext.

I've had many posts deleted. Once I reposted a deleted post and the moderator changed the text. Now with this username there have been no outright deletions, but a moderator combines any two posts into one then sends the message

"A reply of yours, quoted below, was deleted by a Bitcoin Forum moderator. Posts are most frequently deleted because they are off-topic, though they can also be deleted for other reasons. In the future, please avoid posting things that need to be deleted."

Of course in a melting pot it is important to train young people to be intrusive, otherwise a coercive society could not survive. The coercion/rape impulse is the root of a melting pot.

Some sites like reddit, twitter, youtube etc are famous for becoming successful by overcontrolling members.

Is it good or bad?

You have no reason to mentioin pump-n-dump. We've just been attending to our trading.

And sure as hell I don't appreciate you connecting IndiaMikeZulu to pump-n-dump!

IndiaMikeZulu

A coin can either be used to profit by increasing the use/value of the coin, or it can be pumped with the goal of dumping coins on new people who get pulled in.

Primecoin is pretty near an all time low which means almost everybody who ever bought it is down except the pumpers who dumped at peaks.

Was the conversation on discord about anything other than pumping?

~

People who are interested in looking for primes might consider xpm inefficient. If the goal is really to find primes it would be a better use of resources to use an algorithm not connected to a coin.

Primecoin could be made useful by changing it to a human mining coin that incentivized people to look for new ways to find primes.

~

I'm happy with pumping it. I bought around $100 worth to dump once it goes up. Pump away

Nice movie grade terrorism in style. Israel and Mossad excels in conducting highly sophisticated attacks as such.
A study shows one of the two batteries on the device was replaced with identical looking explosive during shipping.
Israel is openly a terrorist state and I do still condemn terrorism. But the pager attack is way better on moral level than bombing civilians.

Agree that Israel is a terrorist state preying on the indigenous locals, same as China, U.S., Aus etc.

But the question here is whether Israel actually carried out this attack.

Most people believe Israel contrived Oct7 to have an excuse to expel Pals.

What many people do not know is that Israel's security apparatus, including mossad, are basically run by Britain. Mossad has a nominal Israeli leader but all of its big actions and decisions are based on interpreted signals and other data fed carefully by the UK.

This terrorist attack is carried out by United States not Israel.......

As for benefit, it is for an internal use .......

Actually it is Britain not the U.S. / Britain has been trying to create an Islamic superstate to contain China since the 1990s. All of the U.S.adventures in Afgh, Iraq, Africa etc were Britain using the U.S. for its strategy.

It is partly for internal use to give Israelis a false sense of power, but the bigger effect is external, and against Israel's interests.
