SONM chart confusion (coinmarketcap)

I´ve seen this before but never figured out what it means.
The market cap is way higher than price right now on the chart for SONM. Anyone know what that means?

Probably not the place for it but I´m not sure where else to ask. I ran out of space syncing the verge wallet so I moved it to another drive. When I start syncing again, it starts over in the same place.
Where do you change the directory in which to sync?

you can use the --datadir flag, so say you want to use a different hard drive, assuming windows OS.

verge --datadir=D:\vergedata\

and that will start using a different folder. also you can download the data faster than syncing from vergecurrency.de

dont forget to copy your wallet.dat over to the new directory!

Thanks for replying. Where do I change the datadir flag though? I´ve got a file named VERGEd. If I click on it, I get a dos interface that pops up. Is that where I change the dir?

well if you are using the qt exe, or the d .exe, you just put it at the end of the command line. if you're using windows, just right click the qt.exe, and make a shortcut, then in the new shortcut properties, add that flag after the .exe

So I´m starting to feel like a complete idiot. Which is probably an accurate description in this case. But I´m not used to doing stuff like this. At all. Just want to clarify that this is about changing the blockchain directory for the Windows wallet. Someone mentioned a miner previously. So just to avoid misunderstandings.

So I make a shortcut of the Verge-qt.exe
Click properties
But now I´m lost. You say change the flag and add the --datadir=D:\vergedata\ flag.
I can´t figure that out. The only place in properties where it let´s me add anything after the .exe is in the path and I´m not allowed to change anything there?

Why sudden busyness as soon as ICO ends?

Oh, I don´t know. Maybe they actually intend to develop this thing into something real?

The majority of questions here are from people who come in and drop a one liner, not even taking time to look a few steps back in the thread to see if it´s been answered before. Then you have your random angry person that´s crying scam because "I invested money two weeks ago and I havent made any money yet".
They have means of communication. You can´t demand that the communication takes place wherever is most convenient for you.
It would be irresponsible and a waste of time to dedicate resources for answering the same questions over and over again from people who won´t take time to read past dialogs.

If you can´t muster patience you can´t expect progress.

0,5 ETH for translating a BOOK (124 pages!) isn't a fair price at all, and more taking into account that now you charge 8$ per download.

I've been paid over $200 for the translation of other project's whitepapers (18-20 pages) that are free to download, and it is not an expensive translation. Here you are some examples of translation pricing: https://www.strakertranslations.com/translation-pricing/

We all know that those are new projects in their initial phases, and that most translators here are amateurs, but there are some limits and, imho, this is beyond all limits.

To all translators: get serious! your time and talent is precious.

To FrictionlessCoin: if you set a fair price for the translation or if you agree with a google translator translation let me know and I'll translate it into Spanish. Until that happens, good luck with the project.

I am not selling the whitepaper to make money.  In fact, $8 is designed so its just a token amount.  If you can afford $8 to understand this space better, then good for you!

Why do you ask for a token amount if you don´t mind me asking?

So they were going to burn the remainder of the tokens right? But it´s trading on 2 exchanges already and the total supply on coinmarketcap still says 101,000,000 TAAS while the circulating supply is a question mark.
When were they going to burn the tokens?
I know it´s in the thread somewhere but I can´t find it now.

the price of taas tokens will rise after the burn of remaining taas tokens
when the taas tokens will burn ... the team will post the proof burn of taas tokens
and i am also waithing for taas tokens to add on poloniex exchange
and then the price will rise and holders get profits

So no actual date of the burning yet?

Re: [ANN] [RBX] - Ripto Bux - Dual Blockchain (Waves/Ethereum) Multi-Use Currency!
by

on 28/04/2017, 17:18:39 UTC
So how do you swap the ETH RBX back to Waves RBX?

For a detailed guide on returning your Ripto Bux from Ethereum to Waves, consult this handy text document put together by USUKAN (a very helpful and very active member of Waves, Incent, and Ethereum communities.) --> https://mega.nz/#!GE4iFRTA!7aeiWq5VGFyoNcmyesQrGo-aWyrkrm_laWGTS5sMeJE
(Note: It costs Etherum gas to make transactions on the Ethereum network just as it costs Waves to send a Waves transaction fee. So, be sure to have or purchase a few Eth to insure you can swap your Ripto Bux back to Waves.)
(Note: Moving your Ripto Bux back to Waves will have no impact on this airdrop.)

Hope this help, just download the .txt file for more info.

Thanks for the help!

I seem to get the same message from blockswap to verify myself by sending a nominal amount of Waves to a specific address even though I did that about 7 hours ago.
Are you supposed to do it every time you swap?
How do I know I´m verified? When I tried sending from Waves to Myetherwallet my Waves client says the address is not valid.
Tried working it out from the instructions but not getting any further.

Anyone know?

Rates on Cryptopia and Tidex are way below that though, so I just figured somethings up with Coinmarketcap?

i see, someone on tidex bought up to 0.013 WAVES, it's like a pivot pump.  he did buy a lot up to that price.

What´s a pivot pump? Tried googling but I get more irrigation pumps than anything else.  Cheesy
Why not just buy a whole bunch at a lower rate with the same amount of money instead of buying way over market rate?
If that´s what they did?

lol, meaning they bought it off the RBX/WAVES market  https://tidex.com/exchange/#/pair/RBX_WAVES

@0.013 WAVES per RBX, and @0.00045 BTC per WAVES, it's actually closer to 500 sat per RBX.

so they are using one exchange to pump up one side of the coin, and let other exchanges catch up, either if they have bots or people thinking they have a good deal.

i made that word up, pivot pump...lol..., kinda like using a little pivot, to try to pump a bigger market.

It´s a good word for it though. Grin

Hey guys sorry - figuring out what's going on w/ blockswap has been taking a bit of time.

It seems that the issue stems from an update to Waves full node - and it causes the chain to fork - and then the tx's don't show (or something to this effect).

The airdrop will still occur - but it will most likely need to be pushed back at this point.

Either way, I'll announce once 1) BlockSwap is fully and reliably operable once more and 2) Once the airdrop period is 100% reinstated.

Sorry for the inconvenience and confusion.

- ripto

So, how the airdrop will happen now in detail. Can you post a short summary?

Summary, post #118
Once blockswap is up, all you need to do is transfer some number of RBX from Waves to ETH through blockswap, and you'll be eligible for the airdrop.

Details, post #92

Hello all,

So the next Ripto Bux $RBX airdrop will take place a bit differently than those prior.

Instead of doing an indiscriminate airdrop to all Waves or WCT token holders, this time we're going to try and teach people how to use Incent blockswap to move their Ripto Bux from Waves to Eth.

So, in order to earn this airdrop, you must test out the Waves/ Ethereum gateway by swapping your Waves Ripto Bux for Ethereum Ripto Bux.

- To use Incent blockswap, you will need to visit this website. https://blockswap.incentloyalty.com/

- From here, you must select the token that you wish to transfer. Make sure you select Ripto Bux.

- You will be prompted to connect your Waves wallet to your Ethereum wallet. Input both addresses as directed.

- Follow the instructions to send a specific amount of Waves to the swap address. This verification process will link your Waves wallet address with your Ethereum Wallet address.

- Once verified, send Ripto Bux to the specified address. Please do a test send of 1 or 2 Ripto Bux before swapping a large amount. Blockswap is a new technology, and sometimes an error may occur.

- On the Ethereum side, you will need to watch the Ripto Bux token contract in order to see your swapped tokens. You can visit this page for more information https://github.com/bokkypoobah/TokenTrader/wiki/RBX-%E2%80%90-Ripto-Bux or visit riptobux.com. But, for brevity's sake, you can follow these instructions.

Token Name: Ripto Bux.
Contract Address: 0x74aca0f1a40f7e0f3845dadf52c65060de7749af
Token Symbol: RBX
Token Decimals: 8

Note: When using MyEtherWallet, it is not necessary to include 'Token Name'.

- Once you've input this information, you will see your Ripto Bux $RBX tokens in your wallet. On MyEtherWallet, you may need to refresh your page.

- The more Ripto Bux you swap, better.

Again, for a detailed guide on how to move your RBX across the Waves and Ethereum blockchains, visit this page. https://github.com/bokkypoobah/TokenTrader/wiki/RBX-%E2%80%90-Ripto-Bux. Also contained on this page is information for buying and selling Ripto Bux on CryptoDerivative.market -an Ethereum decentralized exchange - although this is not necessary to earn the airdrop.

- For a detailed guide on returning your Ripto Bux from Ethereum to Waves, consult this handy text document put together by USUKAN (a very helpful and very active member of Waves, Incent, and Ethereum communities.) --> https://mega.nz/#!GE4iFRTA!7aeiWq5VGFyoNcmyesQrGo-aWyrkrm_laWGTS5sMeJE

- Do not return /swap your Ripto Bux back to the Waves blockchain until the airdrop period has ended. An announcement will be made once the airdrop period is over and all necessary data needed to calculate distribution has been taken.

In total, 50 million Ripto Bux will be distributed during this airdrop.

Thank you all for your interest in Ripto Bux! As always, we are doing our best to bring real value to the Ripto Bux token. Retweets and spreading the message is very much appreciated!

I´m a bit unsure if I got this.
I have some RBX on cryptopia right now. Can I just send them to the waves lite client without having to add the token?
I added the RBX token to Myetherwallet using the contract adress, dec points, etc found in this thread.
So once the Incent blockswap is working I just send my RBX via blockswap to myetherwallet and take part in the airdrop that way?

Does that sound right?
