Re: What am i expected to do?

I am new to this forum, but i have been into crypto for more than a year. I am loosing some of my holdings due to the fall in prices of my coin and altoins. What should i do please.
Any advise that will be useful is welcome.
Keep on holding because it is already too late if you sell it right now. Wait for a bull run this end of the year and sell it when your coin is already recovered. Make sure you sell it before the year begins because there will be a bear market season in the first quarter of the year.

Re: Ethereum is ICO king, Do you agree?

If Bitcoin is king of cryprocurrency, then Ethereum is the king of all ICOs ,do you agree?  Stella, neo and no other blockchain has hosted ICO than other than Ethereum.

You are correct but Ethereum should not be complacent because other ICO platform are doing what they can to stay in the game and to over run Ethereum. It is not a secret that lately majority of scam ICO are made from Ethereum platform. I hope they can address the problem that their platform would not be use in an ICO scam.

Re: Bounty needs KYC to receive reward?

KYC is just an excuse by the team so they don't have to pay reward on their bounty participants not unless they announce it before the campaign start. It is not worth it to compromise your personal information in a campaign where you are not sure of it is going to be successful or not.

In the future we will all use cryptocurrency whether we like it or not. Blockchain technology will change all the old way we do in our everyday transaction. It will be more efficient, reliable, fast and more convenient.

Re: PLAYSTORE and APPSTORE!!

We are into gadgets, most of the people are addict on it.
We spent more of our vacant time facing our Cellphones and Ipads.

Playing games and downloading some apps on the store require payments, Is this the best time for those stores to open their payment method with cryptocurrency specially Bitcoin?

If they are going to accept cryptocurrency I think they rather create their own cryptocurrency to control the value and avoid a pump and dump scenario like what happened to other altcoin in the market.

Total Ban on Crypto Exchanges Unnecessary: Hong Kong Regulator

The outgoing chairman of Hong Kong’s securities regulator has – unlike China – ruled out a total ban on domestic cryptocurrency exchanges, suggesting formal regulations instead. Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) is drawing plans in…

I think the officials cannot take the pressure of influential people who are joining and investing huge amount of money in blockchain technology. The official will not change their mind unless there is someone who are appealing to regulate cryptocurrency.

I don't pay much attention on news about bitcoin because majority of them are either FUD or hype. I hold it no matter what happened because I know the value will increase after a few years more. I only sell a few if I got short and need some cash for special occasions.

Re: How does Bitcoin affect other Crypto?
by
Pump N Dead
on 16/10/2018, 08:37:42 UTC
Bitcoin price have a direct effect on altcoin value because Bitcoin is the measurement of the value of altcoins and once Bitcoin goes up the value of altcoin decrease because many altcoin holders are selling their altcoin in exchange of Bitcoin.

Re: Guys please no more talk of Bitcoin better than gold
by
Pump N Dead
on 15/10/2018, 17:48:58 UTC
Each thing is a thing to itself. If you say btc will replace gold you are saying btc will replace all metals of value. It
Makes no sense. Will Bitcoin replace bonds cause btc can have a higher yield. Remember, some day btc is replacing tulips at the moment. Open your minds a bit more and realize btc is not the end all be all. I love it, and have quite a bit, but I also have a safe full of gold. They are two separate entities, at one point it was confiscated from the people of the us and was illegal to hold. Those of you who keep saying this make me think you are not diversified and it's not always a good idea so stop this stupid gold comparison
Gold is already been here since centuries. It will not go away.  If  you think Bitcoin can replace gold, you are wrong. Gold is God's money while Bitcoin is an Internet money. If fiat currency didn't replace gold, Bitcoin cannot replace it too.

If bitcoin were to be accepted, on the condition that it should be regulated. Do you think it should be done, disregarding its decentralized nature?
Wether they like it or not Bitcoin is already accepted by those people who understand it. once the adoption period reach more than 50% the government will have no other way but to accept it. They also have a hard time making a regulation in bitcoin because each country have their own perception about it and there  could be contradiction on each side.

Re: What do you think about blockchain games?
by
Pump N Dead
on 13/10/2018, 03:25:36 UTC
Trading and bounties are a good way to earn. And recently I’ve discovered a new way to do that – dapps (I’m talking about games). I’m not that experienced in that field but it seems to be interesting.

What do you think about it? Have you ever tried to?

I think it is a good idea bringing the gamers in the community of cryptocurrency. There are too many gamers all over the globe like players of DOTA and LOL. If there is an incentive while playing the game, correct sure the gamers will switch their time playing in DAPP.

what is the best exchange
Binance is the best altcoin trading platform as of today followed by Bittrex. Forkdelta is only applicable for Ethereum token trades. It is a decentralize trading platform in Ethereum and you cannot trade any altcoin that doesn't use Ethereum smart contract.

Re: Token listing
by

on 12/10/2018, 06:15:42 UTC
What's more better,Firstly token listing in exchanger and than distribution token or distribution token before listing in exchanger?
The answer is obvious. You have to distribute the token first before you list it in any trading platform because it is useless to list the token without the token circulating the market. Listing the token too early have a negative impact on imvrstor and they will think that the team are selling their holdings too early.

Re: Reasons why ICOs fail
by
Pump N Dead
on 11/10/2018, 22:39:00 UTC
There are many ICOs out there, but more than 50% of them fail.
From my analogy, could this be the reasons why ICOs fail?
1. Being too complicated:
If you want investors to favour your ICO, make sure they understand your coin offering. Be concise yet interesting, creative yet not too ‘techy’ and try to explain concepts from scratch. Of course, the detail you go into is likely to depend on your target audience.
2. No unique Use case and lack of creativity:
The reality is, ICOs are not straightforward and with new ideas and concepts arising daily, you need to get noticed and that means coming up with some unique Use case
So, before a developer even attempts to launch an ICO or enter the crypto world, ask yourself: "What will make investors choose this particular ICO over a competitor’s ICO?"
I believe the list continues.
One of the main reason why ICO fail even a promising one is because there are too many ICO to choose from and investors now are getting confuse which one is better and they end up with a scam ICO and burned out. Now they prefer a stable altcoin to lessen the risk and learned from their mistake.

Re: I am most worried now
by

That was the collapse of ETH, because most of the airdrop and bounty programs were through the ERC-20 platform. Do you think the same thing happened?
I'm not worried at all because it is a normal cycle of a cryptocurrency, same thing happened to Bitcoin. I bought Ethereum at $25 so even if it drops to $80 I still have a good profit. Besides I keep my Ethereum as a long term investment like Bitcoin.

Re: Does ICO and bounty die?
by

Hi all. I took part in more than 3 hundred bounties in two year. Last half year there are no pay from project to hunters. Maybe bounty will die or it's transformayion in something other Huh  Huh Huh
Bounty hunting is like an investor. You have to pick wisely to avoid scam. Check all the important details about the project, the credibility of the team, white paper, github and there marketing strategies if they have the capability to indure the worst case scenario like what is happening today.

Re: Who actually invests in ICO's?
by
Pump N Dead
on 09/10/2018, 20:04:10 UTC
I know that most of todays traders are here just to make a quick buck, they dont care about the project, or the idea behind the project, they just want "PUUUPM" and "MOOOON". And with all the scam ICO's that we had in the past( my personal favorite BitConneeeeect) people have lost faith in ICO's. But still new ICO's and new ideas are being published every day, I've seen on some projects that i'm following that they reached their soft or hardcap, but what triggers my mind is: Who is investing in those ICO's, what is the one thing that lures the todays investors into investing in a certain project?
Not all traders are here for a quick buck. There are position traders who trades in a stable altcoin and they are not into ICO pump and dump shitcoins. Those who invest on a scam ICO are usually a newbie who get hyped by the marketing strategy of the scam project. But there are experience investors who take risk on a legit ICO that they search and investigate before investing.

Re: Do you still believe in bounties and Cryptocurrency?
by
Pump N Dead
on 09/10/2018, 16:51:30 UTC
I believe in cryptocurrency but I only trust bitcoin a day few altcoins. We know that majority of altcoins will be gone in the future and will disappear once regulations for cryptocurrency is already emplemented. Bounty is not forever that is why you must have an alternative source of income and don't focus in one source of income  alone.

Re: I think i bought bitcoin in the early days need help!
by
Pump N Dead
on 09/10/2018, 14:05:39 UTC
Okay guys so I was a teenager at the time i THINK I bought bitcoin I remember playing conquer online and it was around christmas time where I saw there was a discount for bitcoin purchase of dragonballs (I know corny).
my mom tried buying me some and basically we just couldnt figure it out I think my mom tried calling for a refund from whichever company we bought it from and found out it was irreversible. If anyone knows of which company we could of bought from back then would really help! if I find some ill compensate for time!
If you purchase an item with bitcoin, it is not irreversible and it was long time ago, and there is no way to refund it. At that time the price of Bitcoin is cheaper, if you will get a refund it will be in a fiat price basis a day not the amount of bitcoin you paid for.
