I had used OKPay to get 1000€ to btc-e. The verification took a damn long time but the transfer worked flawlessly. Did it only once tho.

But remember, people are fast to call it scam when something doesn't work as they expect. Give them some time, they are kinda slow.

EDIT: That was 1.5 months ago tho.

Merged coins: What's that?

I often read about the term "merged coins".
Can somebody explain what that is?
And how does it work?
Does it involve making 1 digital currency out of multiple ones?
Could all coins be merged into Bitcoin at some point?
