How to use the --apiport for arguments?
I have enabled it with --apiport 10050 but than I only some json stuff when I use http://localhost:10050 so I am definetily missing something.

I think its not quite correct. If you set apiport option to "0.0.0.0:port" you can reach your rig from outside, and monitor it.
Your missing the point no matter what if you set the api to localhost:port or 0.0.0.0:port you only get to see a json page and not something like what gminer, bzminer, phoenixminer or srbminer-multi show. A json page is more or less unreadible.
To me that is not monitoring.
Well. I think that youre missing that nobody watch json outpout only by own eyes. Sertainly you will use some soft to make it look understandable. CM monitor , android apps like CM monitor, plenty choises.

So what shell we do with RX 4xx-5xx 4 Gbs ? 12-14 Mhs on ETH with Zombie mode. Prof. less then mining RVN or even ETC.
Can we squizz a little more from zombie mode, or its over ?

Well,dont know exectly , going to make some tests today. But why it depends so much of CPU type? Especially if both CPUs almost the same arhitecture.

Ive got few 1060s asus venor and at 130/1250 72 powerlim they run at 21.3 Mhs
That Palit runs at 19.3 max with any settings i tried.
Please advice.

Here's an interesting thing.
I moved to HiveOS, flashed (via Hive) all my GPU to the modified bios.
One on rig, I wanted to switch it back to Windows for some general testing and comparison. Loaded up Windows, but none of the AMD software will recognize my cards. Win10 seems to have an issue regardless of what drivers I attempt to put on there.
So do I have to put the old BIOS back on, install the drivers AND THEN replace with the modded bios? Doesn't make sense as to what happened.
Just trying to figure this out.

Did you run amd_pixelpach after driver installation ?
Its common issue with moded GPUs in Win.

Wondering if anyone here has an R9 290 (Hawaii) 4GB Videocard? Any idea if you can mine ETH with it or any other coin for that matter.
I got a few of these left and wondering whether to Craiglist it or mine something. I remember these pulled like 200 Watts hashing at 27MH/s so even with that huge power consumption right now it would still pull a nice profit. If its possible I can put it in the x16 pcie 3.0 slot and wondering if I can get that 27MH/s speed back.
If not is there anything else out there that this GPU is capable of mining anymore these days? Thanks

Direct to Mobo with Gen3x16 I have seen in Zombie mode +24Mhs... but you need to be in Linux
IMHO its not for long
With the zombie Mode in Mobo and Gen3x16 it could be until summer :-) you can always make a benchmark to test your configuration to know until which EPOCH it will be avaliable...
I meen 24 Mhs not for long. Each EPoch lower it for 2 Mhs. So , In a month it will be 15 , then 10 , etc....

I’ve got the parameters working. 4078 and zombie tune 15. But does not help in improving hashrate. Still got about 18mh

Sorry not sure on that, but does it not only apply that to the 4gb automatically?
If not you may need to specify the 4gb card using --devices 0,1 for example
--4g-alloc-size 4080 have to be put it in extra parameteres (for HiveOS), it will automatic detect which cards are 4Gb and which ones not. If 4080 don't work go step by step down until works 4078, 4076, 4074, ...

Well. I can confirm that in PCI-ex 16x slot even with 16x-16x riser speed is up to 28M.
Was a little mess with zombie auto tune on riser , but then set to auto seems normal.

tried it, wait like 20min and it made it, in my case mine put on autozombie at 12.5 the x16 card and go up 24mhz, we can tune up it manually and change the tune on zombie mode??
Well, it was some issues on my GPU on 16x riser with perfect zombie mode finding. Ive discovered that in my case 15 is max , giving me 27.8M. you can set it manualy by --zombie-tune 15

I found this risers from the othe mess of risers and wires. So I dont remember from where Ive got it. But its like on the picture except power cable.

Ive noticed such thing. If GPU is in main MB slot ( I mean 16x speed ) it hases at 19-20 Mhs ( 389-390 epoch) , if GPU is on riser in the same main slot ( but of kz its 1x speed) it hashes 15-16 max.
So PCIex speed is very important IMHO.

With the last EPOCH is normal, now you depend on the --4g-alloc-size value you have and the Memory and Core OC...
well i was using 4080 , should increase or vice versa ?
