Re: Not taking any risk is a bigger risk

This yan remind my past life wey I dey think say risk no matter, life without risk is the worst any one will live because you just dey and better tin wey for favour you if you take d risk go just past you. Risk come will pains so deep sorrow but most time it give joy wen person scale through, my guy back den take risk they by one token like that even without know what the outcome will be as of today the guy is stick rich able to do some risk is worth taking the saying it's more risky not to take a risk is my first principles to work with inorder not to be a victim of not taking risk.

No one can succeed in the world without hard work, patience, risk and investment (time or money). To be successful, a person has to accept these things. It takes a long time to succeed and there are no shortcuts.

Again, no one can succeed in the world without risk. For example, if we talk about Bitcoin, then we will understand that when the idea of Bitcoin came to people's minds in 2009, many people started thinking about what the new currency would be like. They spent a lot of time thinking about whether to invest here or not. And now, seeing the current state of Bitcoin, they only feel guilty for regretting it.

On the other hand, those who invested in Bitcoin at their own financial risk at that time are financially independent today. And the main key behind the success of these successful people is patience, risk taking and investment.
Yes, if you are not patient, you can never succeed in any investment, if you are not patient, you can never make the right decision, if you have a random mindset, you cannot make the right decision at the right time, as a result, good success cannot be expected. Not in 2009, but look at the price of Bitcoin just 2 years ago, Bitcoin was only around $25K then, now compare the price of Bitcoin at that time, this is why when you decide to invest in something, make that investment as soon as possible, because delay means missing a good opportunity.

Someone who panic sell there bitcoin because of a dip is definitely making a mistake, because when there is a dip in the price of bitcoin it presents an opportunity for us to accumulate more with a different and more convenient price as well, but I most say it is more common with someone who is new into bitcoin, or probably doesn’t have a little basic knowledge to panic sell at this point in time
You are right ,most people  that panic and sell their bitcoins are probably traders which maybe short term investors, when there is dip many investors view it as a chance to purchase Bitcoin at a lower  price forgetting that it should be an avenue to accumulate more and hold rather than selling it,but they don’t know that Bitcoin value fluctuate rapidly, but they would be the once to regret later.

Bitcoin fluctuations make newbies more afraid because the rapid changes in the market affect them mentally. In addition, newbies do not have sufficient savings or their own funds, so when the price drops, they start selling out of fear of losses. Another reason is that most new investors enter the market without a clear plan, which results in losses. For this reason, new investors should first create a clear plan and invest in small amounts through DCA rather than investing in large amounts at first. Be patient with market fluctuations and follow logic and plan instead of relying on emotions.

Re: Saving is not enough
by
RTX-G53
on 02/06/2025, 03:50:08 UTC
Earning money is hard. Saving money is hard. Getting rich and being able to live comfortably is hard. But the truth is saving is not enough. Lots of people will ask how to really get out of poverty but the simple straightforward answer is that you need to be earning more than what you are spending. The question begs, is there a way to get rich even if your expenses are higher than what you are earning?

I don't think so. Some people might use credit cards or loans but it is just a cycle of taking a loan then paying it and you are not really moving forward are you? Saving also does nothing much but it can be a good start. You start saving money and at some point when the money is big enough you can start investing. Either in crypto, real estate or in a business. But just saving the money? Unless you want to keep working until the day you die then it will not be enough.

Your comment is realistic. It will never be possible to become truly rich if our expenses are more than what we earn. Many people only think about income but do not pay much attention to expenses. The initial step to financial progress is a clear budget plan. In today's era, depending on only one profession has become risky, in my opinion, freelancing provides an opportunity for additional income along with employment. Saving is a good start to becoming rich, but saving alone is not enough. When the savings reach a certain level, it must be put to use.

Re: Is it good to take decisions when one is angry?
by
RTX-G53
on 31/05/2025, 13:02:55 UTC
I agree with you, of course, it is never right to take any decision in anger, its results are more likely to be negative. During excessive anger, you should keep yourself calm, take deep breaths or leave the house and focus on other things for a while. Anger can be a natural process, but the reaction to this process is different for each person. Decision-making in anger is emotional, unstable and suicidal. Anger destroys the clarity of logic and reality, due to which it later turns into regret. Anger is natural, it is not a fault, but most of the time this decision turns into a fault. A wise person can control his reaction by feeling his anger. Therefore, everyone should control his anger and take a cold-headed decision because a wrong decision can be the cause of tears for the rest of his life.

The role of the government in the development of a country is essential.
Neglect of the government's responsibilities has a negative impact on every sector of the country, including the political, economic, and social sectors. The development and progress of the country requires skilled leadership. Education is the backbone of the nation, so improving the education system so that the future generation can develop and be educated with proper education. To strengthen the economic base of the country, developing various sectors such as agriculture, industry, and trade sectors so that employment is created. In addition, providing assistance to new entrepreneurs so that they can be self-reliant. The government should pay special attention to social crimes and implement efficient forces and the judiciary to control crime so that the peace and security of the country is maintained. That is, not only Africa, but also the responsibility of the government is essential for the development of any country. If the government takes all steps for the development of the country with a strong hand, then the development of that country and the welfare of its people are ensured.

Re: Know how to solve people's problems and become wealthy
by

on 05/04/2025, 12:44:47 UTC
Rich basically means being financially well-off or owning property. One cannot become rich in one day, this requires long-term hard work and goals. First, you have to set your own goals such as what you want to do in a good job, business, investment, etc. Most rich people invest their earned money from which they get more money later. Apart from this, capital can also be increased in a short time due to the increase in wealth. If someone saves money from his monthly income and buys small assets like vacant land or houses after a few months and sells them at a higher price, he will gradually gain financial benefits. Basically, if you save money and spend it in a proper planned way, financial well-being will come.

Re: Bitcoin vs eth
by

A year ago I bought 1 BTC and 20 ETH
I have very high hopes for eth and was wondering if I should transfer all or some or none of that bit coin into eth.
It’s dumping right now but I was thinking since there’s a discrepancy in the price might be a good time to get in
Let me know ur thoughts
Thanks so much
I understand your thinking.  A year ago you bought 1BTC and 20 ETH as the price dropped and you are wondering whether to invest in ETH anymore.  Cryptomarkets have price volatility and prices fluctuate.  If you have high hopes for ETH that it will increase in value in the future, you can sell some BTC to ETH, but there is no need to sell all BTC.  As a result, you can also ensure some profit and maintain the potential security of Bitcoin.   Basically the crypto market is very volatile so it's best to do your own research and decide on your risk tolerance.

Re: BTC Core watch-only with Tails
by
RTX-G53
on 12/11/2024, 03:10:39 UTC
Does anyone know if BTC Core will work properly if installed on Tails USB with Persistent Storage enabled? I saw that the modern versions now allow you to upgrade the Tails OS on the fly while keeping all of your Persistent Storage encrypted volume intact which is great. I remember not using this OS because you needed to wipe the data to upgrade but now it works.
If you want to use BTC Core wallet for watch-only to send transactions, will this work properly? has anyone tried?

Btw, is there a problem by sending BTC to a centralized exchange through Tor? in terms of getting the transaction blacklisted or something? I just use Tor by default for common sense privacy, but you never know nowadays.
Your question is multi-topic and technical. ails OS is a Linux distribution designed for security. Data is not saved in Tails by default. The Persistent Storage feature in Tails stores encrypted data in specific segments. In it you can keep secret information, programs and files. Bitcoin data is transacted by downloading blockchain data to the BTC Core wallet. Persistent Storage must be encrypted This is important for privacy as the private keys of Bitcoin wallets are saved on this drive. However, using BTC Core for wallet-only purposes will probably work fine, but it's not ideal for running a full Bitcoin node.Use of Tor ensures privacy in deployment. Transactions using Tor should not be a problem, but since many hackers or intruders use the Tor network, transactions originating from Tor nodes may be suspect to some exchanges. They may block your transaction or suspend your account in case of multiple suspicious transactions and unusual behavior in the exchange's system. Personal information should not be shared during transactions on exchanges using Tor. Ensure Tor's security by using a configured browser and always updating your browser.

Re: Examine yourself.
by
RTX-G53
on 09/11/2024, 03:59:34 UTC
For minutes I paused reflecting about my time in the forum raising self-directed questions and contemplating on them. Questions like what are those things I can say I have actually learnt since when I joined the forum. How has my growth in knowledge of bitcoin being ever since and what more do I really need to know continuously.

Some people may wonder, why then did i had to bring it to the forum, why not quietly work on  improving yourself more regarding those questions. Anyway, the need to me extending this to the forum is to ignite and reawakening in members that may have lost consciousness of that fact for them to examine themselves for a check and balance.

As a member of the forum and you're not growing in knowledge of the main purpose for which the forum was created for then it's a waste of time and energy for you.  The forum is not just about earnings so if your growth in the forum is focused in ranks you are basically not growing.

In otherwords, if you are lucky enough to scale through the ranks without proportional growth in knowledge of bitcoin then such growth is no good growth at all. A newbie in bitcoin knowledge but an old member by rank you just like a container without a content. So it would be nice of us if we can from time to time take a quiet moment and examine ourselves in relation to the idea behind the forum, ask ourselves necessary questions regarding our timeline with our level of knowledge to the actual purpose of the forum (bitcoin knowledge).

By doing so we can easily keep track of our development and growth rate and try in balancing it side by side ranks and bitcoin knowledge.

Disclaimer: Am just trying to make a  common sense and not that I think myself more aware, knowledgeable and serious than anyone else in the forum and this post was not meant to belittle anyone"s rank at all
Your comment is inspiring. Participating in forums is not just to earn money but to develop one's perspective and a boro matter. If joining a forum means just trying to rank, that would be deviating from the real purpose of the forum. The main purpose of our presence in the forum should be to create a place of learning and growth where we can share our thoughts and ideas with other members.

Re: Are bitcoin investors violators?
by
RTX-G53
on 09/11/2024, 03:33:21 UTC
Bitcoin is still very illegal in many countries and to many governments, but in many of these countries, what is surprising is that you will still find investors in bitcoins who are going against the government and secretly buying and investing in bitcoins. An example of some of these people are members in this forum, so I am want to ask a personal question, do you think of yourself as a bad citizen for disobeying the government? Do you agree that you are a violator for breaking the law? Now see things from a religious side as well, by disobeying the government and investing in bitcoins, are you committing the sin of direct disobedience?
Your question is very complex. It is very important to follow the laws and policies given by the government to maintain the peace and order of a country. Investing in bitcoins without authorization in a country is a violation of the government's laws. It is better to try to invest in a legal way than under the law.

Hello i am looking for Library which can handel Bitcoind (Full Node) commands and queries i dont want to use a 3rd party i will host my own server
Since you want to setup your own server to run Bitcoin Full Node, the Bitcoin Core library will be most useful. It is able to communicate independently with the blockchain and is also the official client of Bitcoin, which can perform commands and configuration. First you need to download Bitcoin Core. After setting up Bitcoin Core, you need to use RPC (Remote Procedure Call) of Bitcoin Core which can give commands and replies. You can configure your node via the bitcoin.conf file. It has to set RPC credentials and other options. Finally JSON-RPC should be used to send various commands.

The biggest dump this year is happening right now, witnessed it and still believe that bitcoin will bounce back.
While we are hoping for bitcoin to reach $100k, how do you feel that bitcoin is going down to $20k anytime soon?

And when bitcoin dump that low, expect that altcoins will also dump even double the price dump of bitcoin.
Your comment is correct because when Bitcoin falls in value, Altcoins fall in value more than that. Such fluctuations in market prices create pressure for long-term investors. As the price of Bitcoin falls further, investors start selling which affects the altcoin market as well. Instead of selling when the price drops, you can rely on Bitcoin's strong momentum and adopt the DCA strategy.

Re: How much money is enough money?
by

on 07/11/2024, 03:03:51 UTC
The chase for money especially in this dispensation is never ending. People are willing to go all out and do anything (legal and illegal) for money these days. The real question that i am forced to ask is, how much money is enough money?

At what point will one say that he or she has had enough money?
Your question is very complex. Every person's lifestyle goals and outlook are different, each person's needs are also different, so it is difficult to specify how much money is enough. For some, having enough money is a means of independence, luxury living and fulfillment of future dreams. And to someone, enough money to meet the needs of one and a half family members and enjoy the happiness of life. Every person's mindset is different, but one interesting thing is that no matter how much money one has, it is not enough, everyone thinks that if I have a little more money than what I have, maybe I will be happy. The pursuit of extra money is not always necessary for true happiness.

Re: Do you have a hard time bringing new people to the forum?

on 06/11/2024, 16:15:56 UTC
During the Christmas holidays, I traveled to different places and one of my main target was to introduce Bitcoin and this forum to as many people as I could. I did but it was not really as easy as I expected because at a point, I was confused on where to start and how to proceed. I wanted a way of shortening the entire process for them, knowing that not everyone will be patient to go through the complex and rigorous process of learning about Bitcoin and the forum itself as a newbie. When I was first introduced into this forum, I was overwhelmed by the workload, the rules, many things to learn and indeed the expectations from me as a newbie. I actually ran away, stayed for a very long time before I remembered I had to face the new task for which I signed up.

I picked myself up and proceeded and I consider that one of the best decision of my life. Today I'm more than motivated to help as many people as possible to grasp this whole things as I know the benefits are innumerable. I don't consider it enough to encourage them to read through the forum because I still remember how difficult it was for me as a newbie, so I'm challenged in my spirit that there should be an easier way to go about introducing the entire concept to newbies.

I don't know if any of you faced this challenge, if yes, how were you able to proceed?

Your experience is truly amazing. It is much appreciated that you help newbies about bitcoin and forums. When I was new to the forum I found things very scary and complicated but every newbie feels like this because there are so many rules and things to learn. It is really challenging to guide every newbie. Your tenacity and determination to guide them through this challenge is commendable.

Re: Weekly income should keep bitcoin investment!

on 06/11/2024, 15:50:33 UTC
We have seen various Bitcoin market systems in the past which despite being very volatile, Bitcoin continues to move forward with its momentum. Despite the various ups and downs of the market system, Bitcoin continues to walk the cryptocurrency world in an unforgettable way day after day. Those who have invested in Bitcoin in the past are likely to get good returns as the global economy is expected to be good in 2025.

Yes you can make good profit, but if you have a portion of income per week like $40 per week you can invest $10 in bitcoins. This will reduce your financial risk which is much more bearable than months.
I also agree with you.Everyone who has invested in Bitcoin has got very good returns in the long term investment field. The price is likely to increase further in the future. Currently, Bitcoin has a huge presence in the cryptocurrency market. It would be wise not to stop investing but to invest some portion of the income even if it is very small as the investment will grow gradually and it will also reduce the financial risk.
