Re: taking profit can be hard sometimes.

If taking profit can be so hard for you then you have a problem and that problem is complete greediness living inside you, you have to get rid of that greediness before you can prosper in this space, although greediness is not entirely bad it's just like using a strategy when investing or trading crypto, we are all here to make profit and that is the most important thing once you make enough profit do not hesitate to take profit because crypto won't keep rising forever

Re: And yet another problem for promoters

It will be useless if they pay with USDT because basically USTD is using ETH network. You can see how fee that will be chargered if you send USDT in one wallet to USDT in another wallet.

This is the problem that we head, everytime a coin is increasing then the gas fee will increase as well. ETH will launch new system ETH 2.0 that can reduce its gas fee per one transaction, I think it will resolve for those who complain against gas fee.
Usdt is not only available on Ethereum network mate, usdt is also available on Tron network and it's gas fee is far more cheaper than even bitcoin itself so yes it makes lot of sense if the team can consider to send usdt instead of tokens right now, you need to do your own research, I'm shocked that someone don't know USDT is available on Tron

Re: No year of altcoins coming. All the big money is pouring into bitcoin.

I'm not buying this point at all, all big money are pouring into altcoins and yet BNB turned 300$, all whales favour bitcoin accepted but polkadot grows over 1100% gains already, are you seeing avalanche? Neo? Compound? Bro the list goes on and on, a 1000% gain is a altcoins season for me
Another pump and dump scheme coin?
All of those coin you mentioned above is due to green market affected of Bitcoin bullish season.

I'm looking forward if Bitcoin will crash soon, does those coin will still goes pump like now? If yes, it's altcoin season, if not... like I said it just because of Bitcoin bullish.
You are not making any sense, it's certain that crypto price will crash at any time soon but what matters the most is making profit out of these altcoins or bitcoin itself, why would I want to hold on to a coin that has given me over 1000 percentage of profit? it doesn't make any sense just take your profit and be happy with it rise and fall is ceetain crypto space

Scam Alert, do not buy anything from that website, scammers are building this type of website to steal from people, if you send money for mining rigs you ain't getting it back, there is a similar website that looks identical to this too, forgotten the name, the price are too good to be true, stay away

Re: GPU Fans not spinning on Riser

That's mining for you, you are definitely going to deal with different weird stuffs when building rigs, mine is on rx580, whenever I boot up the pc the fan spins but when boot is up and windows is up the fan stop spinning, even when under heavy load the fan stood still, I later detect it's the AMD driver, after uninstall with DDU everything is back to normal

Anyone here have different approach, and it's interesting to know about other people

I pay 0.15 USD kw/h here, so it's not cheap, I don't have conditions to compete with people paying 0.05 or even 0.10c, so my plan is to mine until I have the money to pay all the costs + 10% or 15% of profits
Anything less than that, doens't worth, and I'll probably sell the hardware and wait until new cycle of mining / bull run

I learned a lot in 2017 and 2018, and even me, who really like to deal with hardware, rigs, pcs, will stop sometimes
In my opinion, when the bear comes, it's best to stop, sell and wait until find a good bargain, look at ETH, in 2019 you can grab a lot of coins dirty cheap, without any efforts

For people who pays 0.05c, it's better to keep mining all the time, or people who are plaining to go solar, it's a good investment

I'm already on solar and battery, I had to pull out the money for the solar through another means and it was a good experience, electricity was cheap here but just for couple hours per day in my country, there is more blackout that's why I go solar so if bear market do comes I'm ready to keep mining and storing some coins

Is this a joke post?  How do you plug in a riser in the wrong direction?  Do you have a pic?  Are you referring to the part that goes in the 1x slot?
It's very possible, grab a motherboard you aren't using and a bad riser connector to give a try you will see that it's 💯 possible, I killed a Nvidia card this way some time ago and it thus affects me because I couldn't get my ROI faster

I have been thinking same for many days  Grin
Guess what? You are wasting time thinking if you would buy or not, now that crypto mining is still Profitable it's better to going the train faster before it becomes too late, if it's a NO then let is be a NO, if it's a Yes then don't wait any longer, every day counts

Re: To buy Rx480/580 cards, should I be avoid buying foundation edition version?
by
RabbiTANK
on 17/02/2021, 08:40:53 UTC
GPUs with single fan is not advisable because of heat, if you have to go with such GPUs because they are always cheaper than two fan or three fan GPUs then you must prepared another way to cool them while they work, build a mining rack case with enough fans that will help blow out heats

Re: Which stablecoin do you trust the most?
by
RabbiTANK
on 16/02/2021, 14:27:20 UTC
What level of trust you referring to? I wond dare store thousands of dollars with USDT or any other stable coins because anything can happen, it seems people are already forgetting the part where it says crypto is a high risk investment, I tend to always play safe but USDT is my favourite stable coin yet the level of trust is very low

Re: If a project gets too complicated
by
RabbiTANK
on 16/02/2021, 14:23:49 UTC
If a crypto project gets too complicated to understand can it affect the projects adoption rate or people don't care this days where they put their money? I remember when Hex was launched many think it's a scam and so many complains about not understanding a thing about what the project is all about, what do you say ?

After all, Blockchain is a very complicated technology, and so many people have understood it. More and more people get to know about it and want to adopt it in business.
I think if a project is complicated, the developers just have to explain it. It is up to the developers to write a clear and easy to read whitepaper. This should guarantee success.
We are not talking about blockchain technology here, some projects have use cases that are confusing, I believe that's what OP is referring to, every blockchain newbie will surely find blockchain confusing at first but the discussion is about use cases that can't be understand, check HEx out for example

by

on 15/02/2021, 14:07:56 UTC
That's good offer mate, make sure you test before buying, with ETHlargement Pill a gtx1080ti can do 50mh per second on Ethereum, also right now it's profitable to mine cortex, far more profitable than mining Ethereum with a gtx1080ti

Focus more on what you get at the end of every 24 hours of mining, if your calculator shows 6$ per day you should get that after 24hrs or even with little cents at the back, forget average shares per 30minutes, it doesn't say anything

Re: Zombie mode questions!
by
RabbiTANK
on 15/02/2021, 14:03:36 UTC
Hi,
Anyone tried using zombie mode with Lolminer or, Phoenix, with Nvidia Gtx 980.
I tried it even on windows, and Linux, and zombie mode wont start, 8gb cards works well.
i Didnt find any info from anywhere, is it working with Nnvidia cards too, or just AMD?
Thanks for the help, and sorry for my english!

You can mine BTG with that GTX980 if you have free electricity, download EWBF miner and start mining, you will earn 1 BTG per month and that's 28.78 dollars per month, would be better if you have 3 to 4 pieces of those GTX980
Not a wise decision unless OP have free electricity and more of those GPUs, you don't want to be hooked with your PC and monitoring so you can earn 28$ per month, gtx980 is still very good for PC gaming and you can still sell for good price, add few cash and by a RX580 8gb even if it's used, within four months you will get ROI back

Re: Which Stablecoin is the most Trustworthy?
by
RabbiTANK
on 14/02/2021, 14:29:55 UTC
Trust? None actually but what if something happens? Which one would be easier to trace or hunt down by the law or SEC? That's centralized stable coins I believe, for a stable coin to even operates with peace of mind the project must be regulated, this is why I prefer stable coins like USDT

by
RabbiTANK
on 14/02/2021, 14:26:21 UTC
Forget the ways of earning out of any projects, either through pow or POS many will still be scam and won't live long before they disappear, my advice is find extra clean and promising project to invest money on or stake or mine, whatever suits you, ETHEREUM for example is big and you can stake with ETH 2.0 vs a new coin that's POS coin which was launched not too long, which one would you got for ?

Re: Mining Ethereum directly to Coinbase
by
RabbiTANK

Hello Guys,

Did anybody try to mine Ethereum directly to Coinbase? Do you know if Coinbase accept mining payments from pools like Ethermine and Nanopool?
Seems you don't know the difference between a centralized wallet and a dex wallet, can you claim that you really own the coins if they enter coinbase Ethereum wallet? Do you have your key or seed for the wallets on coinbase? Pls know what you are doing and stop taking unnecessary risks

Re: These old cards still useful?
by
RabbiTANK
on 11/02/2021, 18:28:23 UTC
Gtx970 is still good for 1080p gaming  Shocked how come you don't see buyers for the cards? What website are you using? To sell the cards faster you should go on ebay and make sure the price are fair enough, don't use high price or else you won't see buyers, the cards aren't good for mining so selling may be slower

yeah they sell on ebay.

122.50 still bidding

https://www.ebay.com/itm/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-970-Founders-Edition-4GB-GDDR5-PCI-Express-3-0-Graphics-Card/294003535887?

80.70 and still bidding

https://www.ebay.com/itm/ASUS-ROG-MATRIX-HD-7970-3GB-Graphics-Card-MATRIX-HD7970-3GD5/233888045399?
Now many 470 4GB video cards are selling for $ 100. Now it is better to buy a used 5600xt for 550 dollars and get more profit and and less power consumption than from 5x474.
Some are still getting 28MH per second out of their RX470 4gb memory using lolminer, I have a friend who still use 12x RX570 4gb and it's still hashing very well, can a RX5600XT do 28MH in 12 places? I don't think so
Don't even think about it, it's better to let go of 4gb memory gpu right now because lolminer won't continue to make your gpu profitable for mining Ethereum, pls wise up and know what you are doing, go for newer cards to get good ROI easier

Re: 4x 1660 super or RTX3090
by
RabbiTANK
on 11/02/2021, 18:25:18 UTC
RTX 3090 is hot, that's a fact that you need to know before buying the card, make sure you know how to cool the card and bring it down to safe temp, also the memory of RTX3090 heats up so fast and you will have to buy a fan to send cool air at the back plate of the card
