RadDragon- not trying to step on your toes. But as a communicator to the thread your hardly here or on slack. Not sure why your getting donations for hardly any communication. Also your advising people to stay away.... WTF... This is the perfect oppertunity to buy, price is 1/8 the average trading price with stenography and release. TOR and blocknet are just as big. To me it sounds like your either butt hurt or trying to pick more up... Who knows what you really know being the "contact" for arg.

When I first agreed to the gig I was pretty upbeat and hype about it.  I was a slack regular for a good long while.  But I got exhausted having to ask another coin's dev to get a response from arg because he wouldn't respond to me directly with any consistency.  They asked me to be some kind of rep, then don't follow up at all after repeated attempts to figure out what the deal was.  I was ignored, and insulted because my time was not valued.

If you would have preferred I could have spun a bunch of lies and made a big deal about how this coin is going to be the most amazing thing when, from my best understanding, the infrastructure is pretty shallow right now.

That's what I know.  My cards are on the table.  I'm not lying, and I'm not trying to incite some kind of trolly flamewar.  I guess you can chalk it up to butthurt if that helps you sleep at night.

Way to keep face...

Every time I ask arg in slack he responds. I don't see any activity from you in the sonic public slack chat. Maybe try and ask something to him there and relay it to the community. Even it is the couple words or sentences.

Like I said when I have asked he is fairly quick to respond.

Well, good.  Maybe you can relay things he says to you then.  Community - you heard him.  He has powers I don't.

I won't lie to you guys.  The Dev pretty much ignores me, too.  I have to beg XST's coin dev Hondo to contact him and beg him to say even one sentence to me every now and then.  After I was asked to become ssd's spokesperson at meetings, I was not even given the time of day to be told when meetings were.

From what I gather SSD's coin dev says he has, at most, 30 minutes a day to work on this because of his work schedule IRL.  Frankly that's not enough to make this work.  In a full month effort at that pace is 15 hours of effort - one day of work for a full time coder.

If SSD will prevail in the future I do not know, but for now, I do not think this is a good coin to invest in until the dev becomes more transparent with his work or willing to interact with the community and those that support him.

He may still deliver what he's promised so far, but I sure as hell have no idea what he plans for the future, and I don't think anyone else does.

May Odin and Thor ensure this coins much deserved success.

Shouldn't we be praying to Loki for success since this is a stealth based coin?  Haha

Also Arg says he's stuck on some weird bug on the Tor browser still.  He's hunting it down.  This kind of stuff happens.

Be frosty.  Cool

The bar is set kind of high in cryptocurrency.  Need to do the job right.   Cool

Thanks for the update RadDragon.
Will this release have the in wallet TOR browser along with the Blocknet integration?

Hi -

Argakiig confirms that yes we will have in wallet TOR browser and Blocknet.  He is currently working on the browser -- said he has some snags with it, but that's why the release will be at the end of the month and not tomorrow.  Smiley

Hello everyone.   Smiley

I spoke with Arg last night and checked up on his progress.  He told me that things are indeed on track-for a release either by the end of this month or very early next.

As earlier mentioned, SSD will be integrating with Blocknet soon.  This release will be working towards that among some other things.

Arg, being a the dev and rep of SSD, was unable to accept being also on the Blocknet board due to a conflict of interest.  He has asked me to take the spot -- and so I will be involved with Blocknet meetings, voting on measures, and will be able to help communicate the issues/positive things going on with Blocknet to the SSD community.

In the future this will help me make sure that you folks are kept in the light about the going ons not just with SSD, but also with the Blocknet picture.

If anyone has any questions or comments for Arg please post them and I will relay them to him.  As always, stay frosty!

What is the target of the new SSD feature/update exactly? just curious

Hey!

Argakiig has said that his goals for the next release (the current ETA for release is March) are:
- Towards the development of the Tor browser and relay in wallet
- Blocknet incorporation, enabling transfer between blockchains
- Optimization of code for improved load and run speed
- Improved user friendliness

He left us a message last night saying that things are progressing and he plans on releasing in a few weeks, so it's on track.  Cool

Does that answer your question?

SSD danger de-listing now on bittrex   Roll Eyes

The coding will be taken care of.  Arg will do his part. Smiley

There was a suggestion mentioned by someone on slack chat that I thought was good.  We should check out contacting blog sites and news to invite people to report on the coin.  Get more coverage because the tech is good.

What do you think about this coin?  Why are you holding?

I think as these various altcoin technologies mold together crypto will become stronger, and more able to defend our liberties.  Shit is getting really weird in the USA and the middle east is just a volatile hellpit.

Steganography will be exceptionally useful given the advent of Stingray technology.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stingray_phone_tracker

A regime can intercept any number of cellular transmissions but still has to sort through them.  Steganography would make it more difficult for interception to occur in the first place.  Right?

You guys are totally right to ask for a statement from him.  I'm just here to help with communication, not to replace Argakiig at all. Smiley

I am happy to help him because he is more walk than talk, and that's what SSD really needs for a head coder.  I'd rather support a hard worker than a big talker.
i appreciate your effort to keep alive the thread, SSD is more than just an ordinary coin,
Argakiig is best Dev, sure will deliver soon.

To clarify though Argakiig requested that I make that statement on his behalf.  It was official and comes from him, just posted by me.

Hi everybody!  Good news, and some updates.

In an effort to improve transparency between the community and the coin devs, I will be acting as a liason between Argakiig and the Bitcointalk forum.  Nice to meet you, for those I have not spoken with before.

Arg's time - in the best interests of SSD - is devoted primarily to coding for the coin.  He is a hard working fellow and focused on the goal of seeing SSD's production through, to innovate new technologies and bolster the usefulness of this coin to new levels.

Argakiig's current goals are, in his next release (the current ETA for release is March) are:
- Towards the development of the Tor browser and relay in wallet
- Blocknet incorporation, enabling transfer between blockchains
- Optimization of code for improved load and run speed
- Improved user friendliness

Also, I would like to note that Hondo from StealthCoin (XST) collaborates with argakiig in coin development.  So, yes -- future technology used by StealthCoin will also be implemented in SSD.

These two coin devs work very well together and have a great relationship -- I foresee their collaboration being exceptional for the future of both coins.

If anyone has questions and would like them relayed to Argakiig, please feel free to post them and I will see to it.  I am keeping this post relatively short and to the point, but I hope that it suffices now that communications will be restored between the BTT community and dev team.

Stay frosty.  Cheesy
Thank you very much for your hard work and congratulation to be representative of Argakiig here. We assure you we will support you and together we all do our best for the SSD. Keep up nice efforts .

More than happy to help!

You can show support by asking questions and letting others know about SSD.  Let's drum up this forum's community again and breathe some life back into Sonic.  Smiley

Why the price of SSD does not grow?

The price is low because the ann is quiet, and so new investors are not attracted as they pass by and see a low page count.  With the introduction of slackchat a lot of conversation happens that is missed on these forums.

When I first got into ssd I enjoyed the simple updates and low key interactions arga had with people on the forums.  Now they are often on slackchat, more consistently, and so the ssd ann does not grow even though it is less exclusive.
