Plo8 chimes in:   NEWS FLASH !!!

Brandon Casten of Burnturn, contacted me to day to settle my account.
He made a partial payment with the balance contingent on me cleaning up this thread.
The following is my effort to be fair and clear this issue.

In all fairness, Bart the previous owner is the reason it has taken so long to get this done.
Im sure the books he handed over to Branden had been cooked to some extent. Bart was robbing Peter
to pay Paul, until finally he had to rob Paul, and tell Paul, Peter did it. The players funds should never
have been accessible to Bart. He made a mess of SP in the end. I kept my 10 bitcoin on site to cover players funds.
Hell i even deposited money so players could withdraw. I hope players realize as a pro for the site that I never ever had any access to back end functions of the site. As so many of you know me personally, You know i am a bitcoin evangelist. It bothers me deeply all the bad press behind this issue of refunds by the new owner to players of the previous Satoshipoker.

I can only imagine what the books looked like, when he handed them over to Brandon,  In all fairness i believe Branden and Ragnar are doing thier very best to get players refunded. I dont envy his job. I spent a lot of time cleaning up behind Bart, as many of you know. The thing is i have directed previous players to the email for Ragnar and they have all (everyone of them) reported to me they got their refunds... This makes me very happy and I think Burnturn should receive kudos for finally getting this mess cleaned up. KUDO's !!!

It is deepest wish that every one to the very last player, to the very .01 mBtc,  gets thier funds back.

I am "NOW CERTAIN" they will, as i see most have been repaid to date. And to be completely honest: Branden reaching out to me to get me paid is a good sign... Understand mine was the largest by far to be paid off.. And Branden reached out to me today. For this i must say TY Brandon. (A personal man to man, cyber handshake is in order..TY Branden)

I wish your site the very best. By reaching out to me today, shows character! (imho) When dealing with other peoples money there is nothing more important than character. Thank you good sir.

The BurnTurn team is done with responding to these redundant criticisms and will allow everyone to judge us on our actions, regardless of how you feel.  I apologize for engaging in the bickering, which has made for terrible discourse on this forum.  It is tough to see your name dragged through the mud and not respond.

This is my last post on this thread, so please contact us directly if you have any questions about your personal situation.  We hope that you will enjoy BurnTurn.eu upon launch and thank you to those who have supported us!

I apologize if this didn't go as smoothly, but please keep in mind that if I hadn't took on the Satoshi Poker liabilities, that ZERO of the stolen BTC would have been returned.  I think it's important to keep in perspective that we have never stolen a single BTC.  We truly regret anyone who has had a negative experience, and we can assure you that this has been very tough on our team as well.

If someone has lost a username and password, then how would they have logged into Satoshi Poker to make a withdrawal anyway?  If you don't know how to access your account, it doesn't matter if it's on Satoshi Poker or BurnTurn Poker.

If you have any info that you can share about your account (i.e. the email address you used), we have been spending a lot of time and effort with our tech team to verify stolen funds.  Please reach out via email if you'd like some help!

Out of the requests for returned funds, there is only one person who has had any complaints with our decisions, and we've paid some people more than we had to.  We can only work with the data that we were provided and understand if we cannot please everyone.  We are making all of our decisions based on the data we have and common sense.  I am unwilling to share any private details, but I would note other posts of people who verified quick payment.

I apologize if not all are happy, but we cannot universally pay out funds that cannot be verified.  Otherwise, we open the door to any scammer who stumbles upon our site.

Again, I am unwilling to discuss anyone's individual situation in a public forum, but am happy to refund people's stolen money, as we are doing EVERY DAY.  Again, please feel free to email at satoshirefund@burnturn.eu

I have never stolen anyone's money and am only trying to take care of these accounts as best as possible.  All accounts that are not refunded before the BurnTurn.eu launch will be credited when BurnTurn launches.  Unlike Satoshi Poker, all player funds will be held in segregated, cold storage accounts.

I hope we can eventually earn everyone's trust, but I understand the skepticism with all of the unfortunate negativity from a couple loud people.

st1letto,

My pleasure!  I signed a contract to take on the liabilities of Satoshi about a month ago and my intention is to pay everyone who has a legitimate balance. The vast majority of balances were extremely low and there are over 1,000 accounts with balances, so the easiest way was to credit SP accounts and allow immediate withdrawal.  When I realized I couldn't reasonably get SP running in short order, we had to make the decision to rollover people onto BurnTurn.  It was tough, because I don't want there to be any more negative stories in the BTC space…such as the one that the former CEO created.

The rest of the stuff is just petty bullshit and I have no idea why some people felt the need to bash me.  I'm not mad, just don't want undue negativity towards BurnTurn before we have a chance to earn people's trust.  I am confident that time will show that we are honest people with an excellent online poker experience.  Luckily the very few who have decided to bash our people are pretty irrelevant.

Again, for all who want to reclaim their BTC that were stolen by the old owner of Satoshi Poker, please email: satoshirefund@burnturn.eu

Thank you,

Ragnar

i'm giving him a chance - just sent an email, stating my username, password and outstanding funds from SP
let's see

My Apologies!  The email went to the wrong folder.  I found your email and refunded the BTC.  For the sake of all on this post, can you verify that you received them?

I apologize for the delay and hope you'll enjoy BurnTurn Poker!

Best,

Ragnar

For all Satoshi players who were burned by the former CEO and could not withdraw their funds, BurnTurn will honor your accounts in advance of our launch if you need.

Please email: satoshirefund@burnturn.eu and we will return your stolen BTC as soon as we can verify your identity.  Please help us by providing as much account info as possible…ideally username, password and associated email address.  Also let us know the BTC address to which you would like your refund.

Also, we hope you can enjoy BurnTurn and forget your negative experience at Satoshi Poker.

If anyone has direct questions to me about the Satoshi Software, their personal bitcoins on the site or any concerns, please directly email me:  ragnar@burnturn.eu  I am willing to discuss anything except the legal terms of the deal between the old CEO of Satoshi and our company.

I am done airing any grievances in a public forum, but could not allow this to go without a response.  From here, I will not respond to the forthcoming angry responses from Bart or anyone else.  Anyone who wants my opinion is welcome to send a note.

AGAIN: WE WILL CREDIT ALL VALID ACCOUNTS UPON LAUNCH OF BURNTURN.EU

I would ask the moderator to remove these slanderous remarks.  Bart is unfortunately very confused at this time and is sharing the details of a private agreement.

I would also like to remind everyone that it was Bart who is guilty of defrauding his players of around 22 BTC, when he decided to spend the funds in his players' accounts instead of segregating player funds as any reputable poker site would.  This is the only FACT that truly matters here.  He was bailed out by the BurnTurn team, who accepts this liability, but must do so in a secure fashion to ensure that players get what they are owed.  When BurnTurn goes live (very soon), all verified accounts will be credited for instant withdrawal.  That promise has not been broken, but it has taken longer than expected to unwind the web of mistakes made by Bart. The BurnTurn team would love to be live with Satoshi Poker, but the software was not ready to launch.
