ETHEREUM: THE RAPID FLUCTUATIONS IN GAS FEES
by
Rebek
on 03/11/2021, 21:50:35 UTC
The ETH  blockchain is a crazy place to play now. So I initiated a transaction  about 6 hours ago, the transaction took  6 hours  before it finally got confirmation on the Ethereum blockchain network,  I nearly did the   cancel/replace option.  First and foremost, I did my checks on ethgasstation  and etherscan.io/gastracker before initiating  the whole transaction  and realised  the "cheapest" gas fees was 98 Gwei. So to be on the safer side, I decided  to use 100 Gwei (~$24) yet look at the stress I've been through  all day. ETH blockchain  is messed up now.  What happened  to ETH 2.0?.

Imagine  if the transaction  had failed after 24 hrs, I would have no choice but to cancel/replace the pending  transaction  with a higher gas fees. Clearly,  with a failed transaction, ~ $60 worth of ETH  would just go  waste🗑

Re: [ANN]Midas.Investments’ Yield Automated Portfolios: HODLing 2.0 with BTC payouts

I have been using Midas for a few months and i do not regret it !
They have a wide range of Masternode coins and fees are fair. If you choose to hold their coin on the platform you will have many benefits, up to 0% fees, and better yields.

If you are new to the platform i would recommend you to try the SYAP product. You simply need to invest BTC, they will pay you a 12% yield and invest your coins in different assets (BTC,ETH,USDT,MIDAS), and they will re-balance it depending on the market evolution. They have done a 200$+ airdrop to their SYAP/MNYAP users and it looks like there is more to come !

It's obvious you should never send all your coins to the same service, but if you want a great passive income you should consider giving a try to Midas and their products.
They are no withdrawal fees for coins other than bitcoin, (for bitcoin it's only about 0.0002BTC), and transaction between their products are free.

Finally if you encounter any issue you can easly reach the support, and there is a wide community ready to help you.
Have a nice day  Wink

Why is the community? It's  clear you are doing  a paid promotion  but  speak with facts. There  is no community  at Telegram, the discord server too is not receptive to  new members.

A COUNTRY THAT FORGIVES AND DEVELOPMENT
by

on 15/11/2020, 10:02:14 UTC

Recently, while listening to a random radio commentary,  one of the panelist made a profound statement that "A Country That Forgives Can Never Develop" , he backed his claim by stating that it is for this reason that the Scandinavian countries are developing. I guess this statement is highly debatable.  We need to appreciate the fact  that certain situations and dynamics can always change. There are levels of principles and morality across the globe and they are peculiar to each jurisdictions. Even in  some cases, criminals who were pardon upon several considerations turn up to be responsible citizens in society.

Re: Momentum Builds for Bitcoin

More real case use of bitcoin can increase the adoption of crypto. A lot of big things are happening around bitcoin lately, most of the altcoins wish they could rally around it so we could have a bullish run for the entire crypto market. Crypto needs established brands that can incorporate the use of bitcoin in their operations to generate more interest in the use of crypto.

Re: Is bitcoin difficult to understand

Bitcoin can easily be understood by the ordinary person on the street when the right person is doing the education. The concept of cryptocurrencies is just like  any other concept in the world especially the science or economic related ones. I have seen a couple of books and articles that gives simple explanation on how bitcoin operates.

I guess in the near future, working online will dominate the working class and allow people to work from any location so far as there is good internet access. The covid 19 pandemic has really taught the world a great lesson. Many people have come to appreciate the fact that a lot of activities can happen online without the need for physical contact. It's obvious some workers have become used to working from home during the lockdown and now finding it difficult to report to work like they used as restrictions are gradually easing up across the globe.

THE GOOD OLD GAMES SEEM BETTER
by
Rebek
on 30/08/2020, 11:41:49 UTC

I have been using the android OS since 2012 when I bought my first android phone. Those days and I remember clearly in 2013, I used to play high graphic games like Modern combat 3 from Gameloft, which came with a good game play offline although I never tried to play online.  I also remember my  favorite EA sports game like the Need For Speed - Shift and Most wanted series, all these games had amazing graphics and gameplay. Fast forward to 2020, most of the presumed good games are all strictly online based and surprisingly the game play and graphics comes no where near the old android games.  I have tried searching for good android games especially War or FPS games with realistic game play and it seems almost all the videos I have come across on YouTube have suggested the old games like the MC3. I still play all these  old games till date and they still look ever green.

Re: Do you think COVID19 is a scam?

There is a whole story of conspiracy theories around covid-19. I feel the disease is real however the exaggeration around it  too much. Countries are losing control because the ordinary person miss the normal life activities, it is obvious the pandemic is not as deadly as the media have portrayed it to be.

There are many conspiracies around the Corona pandemic. Personally, I refuse to believe in any of those stories and I trust the whole Corona thing was not planned. With the biggest winners, the medical or pharmaceutical companies have really profited due to the production of items like medications, face masks, sanitizers etc

I agree entirely with the advice above. Researching into projects before putting your funds in them is really important. There are always Interesting articles on   projects however most of them are for hype and they do not bring out the true picture of the projects. Following the hype always can cost you a lot. Projects with
good  fundamentals can always stand the test of time.

People yearn to hear sweet news and that has also attracted many people to join the crypto industry. Obviously not everyone is interested in crypto or specifically bitcoin in the long term basis. It is clear that some individuals  got into into crypto expecting a 'get rich quick event' but just like the OP stated, bitcoin is not a ponzi scheme as some people on the outside assume it to be.

Re: Why People Call Bitcoin Blockchain?
by

on 07/08/2020, 10:26:08 UTC
Some people have always assumed that bitcoin and blockchain technology are the same. Personally,  I used to think that way. The reason is simple, the easiest way for the ordinary person on the street to understand the concept of blockchain technology is by explaining how bitcoin operates as a digital currency.
